I’m so glad you’re still here on RUclips teaching and doing your tutorials. You are always so easy to follow, lots of helpful hints and unnecessary clutter. Thank you for everything.🥰🥰🥰
I have to say, that I searched and looked at 5 other videos before finding yours on this pattern. Yours is the only one that was easy to follow. I do wish you would of said that we needed to consider if we wanted a thicker row of the third color before having us snip it off though, before adding the border. I am a big fan of your video and will be subscribing to see more.
I've always thought that the mitered corner granny square was a great pattern, but I've never made one. You'd think in 48 years of crocheting I would have given it a shot at least once, but no. I want to make some baby blankets and I think I'll make them using this pattern as a continuous square rather than separate ones. Thanks for sharing! Blessings all!!!!
I also have never tried this pattern. It took 3 tries before I got past the first row correctly.. I do agree that using the magic circle is the best way to start, and it was my major problem working my first 2 tries. Now that I have gotten it down, I can see using this for several different patterns. Thank you so much.
I have a new beautiful pattern to do for a wee baby blanket. I absolutely love the way you explain everything. Your how I learned to crochet and I still watch your videos even now x
I love this pattern and the calm way you explaining everything. I'm busy making the blanket in bright sunny colours. Thank you. From a cold stormy Cape Town.
Hi i absolutely love this after buying so many patterns none explain it like u do !! Is this like one of the 3D optical illusion squares ? Because thats what im trying to make ? If so what colours do u reccomend please ? X 😊😊
Happy to have a easy to follow and understanding steps for mitred granny square. Now can do a piece of work for my piano top cover. However, I still unable to tell which is the correct or back side😅😮💨
I love this square. I'm doing 2 squares a day to celebrate granny square day this month so hopefully have enough for a blanket. This is going to be my first square. Thank you so much 💖💖💖
Thank you so much for explaining the pattern as you went along. I was trying to follow a written pattern and it just didn't work out. I am sure my grandson will appreciate his future blanket that I hope to finish by Christmas!! LOL!!
I have always thought this look, was so awesome. I really have to make one of these into a blanket thank you for sharing I love the colour you are using.
If you are making the square all in one colour, you can turn the square over and then slip stitch along to the corner space so you are in the right position to start the next round 😊
I have a blog post here containing some of my favourite borders: blog.bellacococrochet.com/crochet-borders/ You can have a look through and each one has a video tutorial 😊
Hi Lisa, I have several tutorials for different methods of joining them, if you search bella coco how to join granny squares you can have a look through and see which one suits you the best :)
For each cluster of trebles (or US doubles) you should work three stitches. The written instructions for this are over on my blog here which might help: bellacococrochet.com/mitered-granny-square/ 😊

This is a beautiful pattern that I would love to try. Do you have a written pattern for this?
The written pattern can be found on my blog at bellacococrochet.com :)
Thanks
Very good👍👌🏻🌺🌺🌸🌸🌹🌹💐💐
Thank you :)
Awesome thank you.
You're welcome :)
Is it possible to do this pattern as a solid granny square?
Silly question, but I would like to to this in just one colour so my problem comes in at flipping the square.. how would I go about that😅
If you are making the square all in one colour, you can turn the square over and then slip stitch along to the corner space so you are in the right position to start the next round 😊
I would love to buy those lovely hooks somewhere but I am not interested in a monthly box... 😥
Can you show me how to do a border for a blanket for these lovely squares,I’m not doing it as I go along, thank you xx
I have a blog post here containing some of my favourite borders: blog.bellacococrochet.com/crochet-borders/ You can have a look through and each one has a video tutorial 😊
Hi! I’m a beginner, so this might be a question with an obvious answer, but can this be made into a blanket as one big, continuous square?
Yes, you can continue adding as many rounds to this as you like 😊
First one this looks so cool 😎
Hello, I love it. May I ask where you bought your crochet hook please?
The hooks come in the crochet society subscription boxes and are unavailable to purchase :)
@@bellacococrochet... Oh what a shame. Whoever sells it could make money from ordinary citizens like me who are willing and interested in buying them.
is this part of the cal or is it just a tutorial?
I love your crochet hook where did you get it from?
This hook is out of one of the crochet society subscription boxes :)
Hey how do you make a big blanket with this pattern, I know you said it in video there a link to join them but can’t find the link
Hi Lisa, I have several tutorials for different methods of joining them, if you search bella coco how to join granny squares you can have a look through and see which one suits you the best :)
How come on this one you do only two chains for corner but another beginner granny square video you say to do 3 chains for corner?
Is there any crochet society box open
for subscription
You can register your interest in box 16 :)
Can you continue to make it just one big granny rug
Yes, you can continue adding rows in the same way as shown in the video until you reach the size you want 😊
Is it 3 d?
For each cluster of trebles (or US doubles) you should work three stitches. The written instructions for this are over on my blog here which might help: bellacococrochet.com/mitered-granny-square/ 😊
Wonderful tutorial although a little too fast.
Have you tried slowing down the video and or pausing so that you can catch up:)
Hi omg
Hi
