FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How much yarn do I need?
Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

Just a thought.... the three time width for the length... this is surely pumpkin Pi !
Eyyyyyyy ( Pumkin Pi, Pumkin Pie )
The sad part is, that it is not triple the length but only double.
Katerina Matthews agreed 😅

love this! thank you, you are describing everything just the way I need it. But it is 2 times the width, not 3 and thankfully I realised it before sewing it together! Please make a note on the video to warn others
I found this out the hard way too :( I'm a beginner, so it took me so long haha
Glad i saw this commentent on time👍👍👍👍TYSM
3 times worked great for mine. Maybe it's our tension?
Tks for the tip! I wasn't paying full attention when i watched video the first time round and would have made 3 times the width if i hadn't seen your comment.
Tysm.. saw this comment just on time!! fall decor starting soon!
It’s actually twice the length, not 3 times 😬 because one of the 3 layers when you fold it, is the height not the length x I only realised because I actually made one 3x the length and it was far too big 🤣 then when I read watched the video, I saw where I went wrong 😑 hope this helps someone else and saves them from doing the same as me 🤣 great little pumpkin tutorial though! Thank you 😊
Yeah, she chained 17 then crocheted 34 rows, so that's half the size.
I love ur pfp sm LMAOO
I did exactly like you! 😅 Now I understand what you mean 🤭 Thank you!🤗
Yes, I had to undo a load of rows after making it too long! Great tutorial otherwise 🎃
She said 3x's the length AS the width, that's why it's folded over that way. Am I the one not understanding? It makes sense to me🤷
Thank you for this tutorial. It took me a couple of attempts to master but I made a few and put them in a little basket. They looked lovely and although I can't see my mum, who has dementia, at the moment due to the covid circumstances, I left them on her doorstep and saw her reaction ........ just perfect. She really loved them. Thank you so much. Your tutorials are so helpful 🙂
You are very welcome and I am so glad that your Mum loved them :)
I haven’t crocheted in years! Your tutorial totally makes me want to pick it back up!! ❤️ Thank you
You are very welcome :)

Just finished my first pumpkin! What fun! Thank you for your videos...I will be making more pumpkins!
As Someone who has crochet for a while, this would have been an awesome project when I was a beginner. Everything is very clear to follow and is simple. Thank you

Glad it's been of help to you :)
Love it! Mine turned out great. Made a bigger pumpkin too (just added 10 to the Chain base) and they look cute together!
Newbie here, how many more rows did you do for the extra stitches?
@@ruthcrompton2322 I did 44 rows for the large one. I believe it was weight 4 yarn and a J Hook
@@rachelar6 thank you, I'll give it a go 😊
Probably the best tutorial I've seen. Very clear and explained everything
I have challanged myself this year to make all of my decore with things I already have. This will be so fun for using up my spair yarn!

I have just started to learn and adore Halloween. I cannot wait to try this.
I didn't have any stuffing, so I grabbed an old tennis ball and closed it up around that. This was the perfect size for a tennis ball!! It's stinking adorable!! Great tutorial!
Good idea!!
You could also use napkins but very smart
After finding this tutorial, I crocheted 12 adorable pumpkins!! Thank you so much!! I absolutely love your video. 💖💗

Thank you so so much That's the way too cute
Thank you so much Sarah-Jayne for this easy to follow video. I have made a selection of 4 different sizes in the past few days and I’m thrilled with them. Fab Autumn decor 🎃🍂
You are very welcome :)
I LOVE this pumpkin i made a few the size you made and then with about 25 or 30 chains. thank you! 🌟
How big did it turn out
how long did it take you?
Thanks, always a great easy to follow tutorial.Just a quick tip,is if your using old bits of tatty yarn I find it helps to make the yarn slightly damp as it makes it easier to work with on this intricate icord.😉
Love the pumpkin and you did a great job explaining....same goes for the stem.
I just want to say thank you so much, after looking through many videos your tutorial was the only slowed down version that made sense to me! My first try was rough so I have a little wonky mustardy orange pumpkin, but it's a start!
You're very welcome :)
The colors you are choosing for your projects are so beautiful! You are a great teacher! I've learned a lot from your tutorials! Thanks a lot!!!
You are very welcome :)

These are so cute an fun! Can't wait to make a bunch to decorate my house!
I made 3! Thanks for the video. I just luv them...
Hello! I have been crocheting for a long time. This video is very beginner friendly. I like how you have a notice to pause. You also go slowly and explain what you are doing. I also like the finishing technique. The yarn also comes up well on video. Congrats on a very well made video!
Thank you 😊
Lovely!! Made my first pumpkin tonight!!
Lovely tutorial. Very quick and cute pumpkins . 👍🏻
New to crocheting I'm going to attempt this right now 🤞🏾
I've tried but can't seem to do it 👎 I'm a 1st timer who can't understand the begginer video or this
@@paulodonnell3439 aw! i first started a couple of weeks ago and i had the same issue - i suggest starting with something easy like a hat or head ban to get used to making the stitched first then come back and try again! it made a huge difference for me!
good luck!
Bravo! A must do for the fall season!
Thanks for a great tutorial. I'm a beginner and it really helps to see rather than just read the pattern. Can't wait to see my finished pumpkins!
You are so very welcome :)

Omg!!! I loved it 😁 I just started learning and your videos are 10/10. Thank you so much.
You are very welcome :)
Amazing best ever tutorial I have watched. Will attempt crochet after years away. Thank you
You're welcome :)
Thanks so much for this clear and understandable video! I am used to working in the round (amigurumi) so turning was a bit confusing and I'd end up with slanted ends. Your video cleared that up for me .. thank you! It also took me a while to make the stitches loose enough because I am used to doing super-tight stitches. Fourth time lucky! It's looking good. Thanks :o)
You are very welcome :)
OMG You are amazing Bella, never crocheted before but I started with your squares and I made 7 little squares 4 days ago. And then I saw your Pumpkin and fell in love. So this morning at 10am I started and finished at 3pm. Not bad for a first timer. I also cooked lunch in the middle of it. I love my Pumpkin. Thank you I wish I could post you a picture of it 🧡🖤🎃🖤🧡
You are very welcome and well done, I have a facebook group which you can post your photos in :)
