    Hi! Great handle bar! Quick question Anyone know how to fix 91 4 code?!

    Interesting about the atlas. Mine has been great. I will say it took a bit to get used to and it’s also quite expensive. I found it fit well. Held well. Look good. Nice positive feel.
    I also ditched my ram mount. Love my ram mount for my marine applications but found it too bulky on the bike. I ended up going rokform as in a sucker for billet aluminum.

      I'll give the Atlas another go before I return it. What friction pad did you use?

    • @jay_fast
      @jay_fast 4 года назад +1

      dadwithabike mine may be different as I have heated grips. Not the stock grips. So the gap between my grip and control housing is very slight. I had to clearance it a bit. But I believe I have running a doubled up pad? Skinny and the medium perhaps?

    If you find something to lock your throttle let me know. I tried one of those locks that push down on the lever and then unlock when you break but when i did break it was on so tight that it would make the bike rev up but loose enough that it would not stay in the speed i set it to

      Personally I just use a cramp buster (product name) and they do the trick for me.

    Did you consider the stock handle bars off a Scout at all? They look similar length and reach to the Twisted Choppers. Trying to decide myself which ones to go for.

      I didn't. These were just an easy fit

      @@dadwithabike Cool. Think I’ll go with the Twisted Choppers. Like the shape better and think they flow with the lines of the forks better. Seeing them on your bike in your videos helped me choose so thanks.

    By chance did you need to extend the clutch cable or brake and abs lines and if not did you have room to spare or are the lines/cable tight ride safe

    I love your videos, did you change the seat and shocks or is it stock?

    • @dadwithabike
      @dadwithabike  4 года назад +2

      So the seat I changed to a Saddlemen Renegade LS Solo but I have not changed the shocks yet. I've found that if I keep my weight below 200 LBS (which is a challenge at my age) the shocks are solid.

    Are the handle bars 8” height or rise?

    • @dadwithabike

      Rise, but the pull back moves them to somewhere around 6"

    cramp buster or throttle boss?

    • @dadwithabike

      I've never used the throttle boss but have the cramp buster. Right now I have the Atlas Throttle Lock installed and it's working well.
