Interesting about the atlas. Mine has been great. I will say it took a bit to get used to and it’s also quite expensive. I found it fit well. Held well. Look good. Nice positive feel. I also ditched my ram mount. Love my ram mount for my marine applications but found it too bulky on the bike. I ended up going rokform as in a sucker for billet aluminum.
dadwithabike mine may be different as I have heated grips. Not the stock grips. So the gap between my grip and control housing is very slight. I had to clearance it a bit. But I believe I have running a doubled up pad? Skinny and the medium perhaps?
If you find something to lock your throttle let me know. I tried one of those locks that push down on the lever and then unlock when you break but when i did break it was on so tight that it would make the bike rev up but loose enough that it would not stay in the speed i set it to
Did you consider the stock handle bars off a Scout at all? They look similar length and reach to the Twisted Choppers. Trying to decide myself which ones to go for.
@@dadwithabike Cool. Think I’ll go with the Twisted Choppers. Like the shape better and think they flow with the lines of the forks better. Seeing them on your bike in your videos helped me choose so thanks.
So the seat I changed to a Saddlemen Renegade LS Solo but I have not changed the shocks yet. I've found that if I keep my weight below 200 LBS (which is a challenge at my age) the shocks are solid.
@@dadwithabike just found a cruise control for the bobber. It's called MC Cruise, works like a cruise control on a manual car. Looks good but it sounds like it's kinda new, I would like to see some reviews before buying.
Hah .. yeah I rarely have to get out of 5th going around town and more often than not I'm usually in 3rd of 4th. One of the things I love about the bobber ... she loves that 4K+ RPM range.
Those bars are awesome!
They are! They have been a live saver!
Thanks mate
Hi! Great handle bar! Quick question Anyone know how to fix 91 4 code?!

I'll give the Atlas another go before I return it. What friction pad did you use?

Personally I just use a cramp buster (product name) and they do the trick for me.

I didn't. These were just an easy fit

@@nattcharles I like them a lot
By chance did you need to extend the clutch cable or brake and abs lines and if not did you have room to spare or are the lines/cable tight ride safe
I didn't have to. Stock fit just fine on the 8"
@@dadwithabike cool thank you sir
I love your videos, did you change the seat and shocks or is it stock?

dadwithabike thanks, I spoke with them last week but they said they don’t have it for the Bobber 20 bummer
Are the handle bars 8” height or rise?
Rise, but the pull back moves them to somewhere around 6"
Is it comfortable for long rides 2up???
Probably not. I ride solo
cramp buster or throttle boss?
I've never used the throttle boss but have the cramp buster. Right now I have the Atlas Throttle Lock installed and it's working well.

@@Mafresita It is, few guys on the facebook group have it - but $600 is $$
@@dadwithabike i commute almost 2 hours a day, all straight freeway so it would be worth it for me. But I'll wait and see 😁
U know,there are 6speeds on this bike

Baby does what baby likes. And baby likes to rev......🏍
what type of handlebars are these ?
These are 8" Custom's from Twisted Choppers. I HIGHLY recommend them.
@@dadwithabike Hey man, was wondering if you had to get any extended cables for the 8" bars.
@@Thrice_Greatest I didn't have to with this one that I got from Twisted Choppers.
