Ive never once used the air ride for speedbumps. I always ride it with full compression. the only time it gets aired down is for parking. its simply "because i can" mod :)
This Ruckus has the Stock50cc motor. I have 6 Ruckus. Couple are GY6 but not this one.The headlight in this video is the kijima headlight. or "wave" headlight.

I actually removed my air-ride because it does not work properly, You prob cant find any information because the way i did it and most people it just does not hold up, the air struts seals blow out and you constantly loose pressure. they are not rated for that much PSI. I'd look into the forjworks(dot)com air ride system for the ruckus. All the info i have on my stuff is stuff i wouldn't recommend to anyone.
I have well (had) a 2008 Yamaha R1. not sure if you consider that a nice motorcycle. I found myself riding the ruckus more then the R1. So i sold the R1. I'll prob eventually get another super-bike, but i need to wait until i'm more mature and not as reckless.
You can find them during the winter for about $1,000. Summer the usually sell for about $1500

I think putting air ride on it is kind of dumb. I doubt you drive this thing all the time, speedbumps are easy to get over. Still looks dope.

I give this ruckus some credit but you gotta let me run a sweet turbo on her and she should hit speeds of 80 to 100mph with a 150cc big bore kit.
Asking someone why mod a ruckus is like asking someone why collect some stupid post cards or why watch some tv show. People don't do it for profit, they do it for enjoyment. If there's one thing that doesn't have to logically make sense in life is how you have fun. So long as nobody gets hurt.

in all honesty. Rides like shit. My 2009 Stock ruckus rides like a dream. this one rides hardtail when its aired up. There is no MIDDLE with the strut. its either Aired up all the way and its a hard tail. or in the middle or down (both the motor hits the ground)..
if i only had 1 ruckus and drove it every day i would NOT do this. But i have 5 Rucks now.. this one gets rode maybe 3 times a month TOPS

in oregon, you have to have a minimum amount of CC to be on highways.. I think 200 cc? these are only 49cc So in oregon. NO.

Yeah, i went down many years ago on a older R1 of mine 2003 i think it was. Sucked. I actually have YET to crash on a ruckus! i prob will now that i said that :) ahahha

I'm sure here in my State police can find things wrong and illegal with the bike. The only thing i have been pulled over for was the police officer could not see my tailight. Once he pulled me over he said. "Oh, there it is and advised me to get a brighter one" he did not say it was illegal only said it was not safe and that i needed a LARGER light so i dont get ran over. That was his opinion. The taillight is visible from the required distance during daylight and night.

its off a dirt bike. i got it off ebay. dont remember what its for. yes its a yoshi. i had it cut and modified. cost about $525.00

To anyone of you who wants an exact clone of this bike its called the ICEBEAR MADDOG they come in 50 and 150cc, use about 80% of the Honda Ruckus parts. I have the baddest Maddog that is coming out soon, Air-suspension and Gucci Leather & Carbon Fiber...Nice Ruckus but watch out for my Chuckus!!! lol
Maddogs are Chinese bikes not even comparable. That's like comparing a real Rolex to a counterfeit Rolex

Just the stock motor on this Ruckus. wanted to stay true to the 50cc roots. I have a few other ruckus (5) one of them has a 170cc Gy6 swap :)
