  • I'm excited to finally get my hands on the NEW SMART LIQUID from Mainline Baits.
    In this video, I thoroughly coat some pellets, boilies and a popup in the smart liquid to see what it does in the underwater test tank.
    I was quite surprised by the amount of time that it lasted in the water. The clips in this video are sped up quite a bit. In real-time you can barely see the liquid move. There seem to be three different reactions the liquid has over time.
    1. The initial reaction and burst of liquid.
    2. around the 10 - 15 minute mark particles seem to float up leaving a visual trail.
    3. From 30 - 40 minutes the liquid really begins to cloud up the water column.
    Stay tuned for a future review with my thoughts on this innovative Carp Fishing Bait.

    Great video bud 👊
    That stuff definitely holds to the baits and love how it hugs the bottom 👍

      It should be interesting to see how fish react on the uw camera next year. I’m thinking the cream smart liquid might match up with sweet stim pretty nicely. 👌

    Great tank test as always but im a big fan of mainline products i used the cell version of the smart liquid this summer and the jury is still out as they say i will use from spring to autumn on a rod every session next year and see if it does make a difference tight lines bud cheers

      I’m interested to hear how it works out for you. I will be testing it next spring. Hopefully with the underwater camera out.

      @@addictedtoangling okey worth trying then, do not have a lot of time to give them a lot of baits so maybe this (cell) is what i am looking for, also all year long or only in colder water?

      It definitely lasts longer than other liquids I’ve tried. In real time there seems to be different activation phases. The initial burst, then another around 15 minutes then a 3rd burst around 30 - 40 minutes. Impressive how it just seems to keep going underwater.
      I agree it is pricey but the big bottle should last for quite a few sessions. 👍

    How much does the smart liquid last underwater...imean how much time between a launch and another?

    • @NathanKCutler
      @NathanKCutler  Год назад +1

      Hey Donato, the smart liquid is slow to form and cloud up in the water. It sort of hangs in the water column for a long time. In calm lakes it would last for about 30 minutes. Rivers or big waters with a lot of waves it would dissipate quickly I imagine. It seems to separate once in the water, some travels up and some spreads out along the bottom. The liquid that spreads along the bottom and into the silt would provide attraction for hours, unlike other liquids that wash off quickly.

    It doesn't look like that at normal speed

    • @NathanKCutler
      @NathanKCutler  3 года назад +1

      Correct. At normal speed you can barely notice the liquid react, I was quite impressed how it kept changing even after an hour in the water.

      Yea I plan to do a more thorough review once I’ve tested it. Interesting how it starts to react after about 10 minutes then it reacts again after 20 minutes. Quite an interesting liquid.
