Great review👍 Re: the Sonik Ext. Series net, I’ve now gone through two nets - each breaking at the same spot 😢while setting it up.
I find it incredibly difficult to force both handles into the spreader block. Once I get one side in, the amount of force and pressure I need to exert on the second net pole is massive, unfortunately ending with two broken handles right at the screw-in bit of the handle. Sorry if that's not a clear explanation.

Yea I’ve heard stories from other anglers of theirs breaking there as well. Luckily mine is still going strong, I’m as gentle as I can be with it as it’s only plastic. I find if the mesh is in the wrong spot on the arms of the net as it often slides up and down after each fish it can cause even more pressure when setting it up.

Wish we had a shop we could walk into, would be so much easier to pick gear out with hands on experience! haha

Sonik Vader X by far, but the Vader X Xtractor net is half decent.

I wish I could get my hands on the Xtractor, it looks like it can pack down into a super small form factor.
