Got the original Gizmo alarms and have been spot on for many years .... Only thing to be aware of in persistent rain the speaker on the alarm fills with water and isn't audible (still works though)

Is that the original or the new ones where the speaker struggles in the rain mate

Thanks for the Video. Unfortunately one of my alerts is not connectable with the receiver... is there any trick besides the user manual or is one just not working? Please help :'(

Hi. Sorry . It was a good review. But nothing was said about how weatherproof or water proof these are. No good if there's no lights or sound. Plus there expensive to run if each alarm and receiver takes 3 AAA. Also what batts does the bivvy light take. Or is it a built in rechargeable. I have a set of prologic alarms with receiver . Had a few years now. Cost me £149.00 all in. 3 alarms and receiver. Snag ears built in the lot. They worked on 1AAA in each. You work out saving . At end of day pay your money. Take your choice. These days you have to save a bit from some where.

You do realise that 3 batteries will last longer than just one. Sheesh

Disappointed on sonik on this be fair mate. Only thing they made better on theses compared to the 1st series is the snagear lights are bright everything else is the same. The first seris reciver and bivvy lights way better in my opinion used mine 2 year now. What's with the power switch on top of the reciver can imagin that getting switched off in your pocket. 😅😂. Definitely not upgrading to theses. Glad you made this review man was seriously considering getting them. All they had to do was make the snag ear lights better on the first seris looks like they went cheaper build on theses ones mate and they actually cost more than the first series did I paid like 190 for 3+biv+rec+light up bobbins 😅.I'm slowly swerving away from sonik. Been abit unluckily with the. My first axis bivvy poles wer bent. Second one night was getting leaked on rain water was coming through some stitching 3rd times a charm. Kinda wished they just gave my money back to be fair. My ak tek chair stiching came undone.. only things I like about sonik now are my rods n reels..

The bivvy light on these is usb rechargeable, Build guilty is better and they are very waterproof. But if your still happy with the MK1's then it's all good.
