  • In this video, we quickly cover the Korda Krimp Tool and supplies needed to make the perfect Boom sections for Carp Fishing.
These booms are perfect for using along with the premade Korda spinner hook sections available at Carpkit.
This was my go-to rig this year and I was quite impressed with how well it performed.

I'm grabbing those over the winter. Looking forward to using those stiffer rigs

It’s been interesting to see them in action. I was always of the impression that a carp will detect the stiff boom as soon as the rig is picked up and spit it out resulting in less hook ups. I’ve come to the realization that due to the stiff material, it makes it very hard for the fish to eject once picked up resulting in more hook ups. Especially those fish that pick up the bait and don’t move off right away.

I use this with the loop to loop combi rig.... Make my boom with crimped loop ends, then attach my own loop rig.
