This is the first time I have heard reference to photo finish. How very interesting. My Canadian Radio's appear to have contrasting thin wood over these areas. Canadian Radios include Grimes/Electrohome our of Kitchener Ontario, Canadian Marconi out of Montreal Quebec, Canadian RCA and many more. Americans will see Rogers Tubes that also come from Canada. I've always loved Zeniths but Canada had so many models of its own that they did not sell well north of the 49th. 🙂
@@maryrafuse2297 Several companies used the Photo Finish. It’s just a painting technique that mimics wood grain , I know Philco used it on their radios and on some of the predicta tvs. I have a predicta tandem that has a photo finish on it.
