    Hey man why some days I have boost and other days I don't have boost? I don't understand....

    With the blue line can you just plug it up? You weren’t clear

    • @Mattsneedforspeed

      if you remove all the lines to the blue solenoid u can cap the solenoid to keep the dirt out you could do the end of the lines if you feel the need.

    I have all my vac lines hooked up. My wga line is going to the solenoid but I have no boost. I take it the line off and it goes to 5psi. It’s an adjustable wga and brand new. What could be an issue? I did a boost leak test and kinda sounds like a leak in one of the lines but can’t find it

      the green solenoid is the one that controls the waste gate if it was boosting before the wg change the new one has the incorrect spring or the slack is not adjusted out of the arm correctly if its a boost leak and your using a tester can try some soapy water if there is no physical or you cant feel the air check all the connection points you can spray on the soapy water and look for bubbles you will need to jack up and support the car with jack stands as you will need access to the btm of the car also..

      Could I possibly pay you to go over/fix my issue? I have all the lines routed as it shows on the hood, but the boost spools slow now. Low rpms it’s almost nothing until about 4500-5k. Mods are intake, turbo xs bov, catch can, 3 bar sensors, dsp i3, bfmic, mpx down pipe and side exit. I’m in NW Ohio. I’m willing to travel or can pay you for you a FaceTime call or something lol

    I have a P0300 code on my srt4 and I’ve replaced coil-pack,plugs-wires,spark plugs, injectors do you think it could be vacuum related?

    • @Mattsneedforspeed
      @Mattsneedforspeed  6 месяцев назад

      If they were replaced with known good parts id do a compression check or even a leak down and also inspect the timing belt if its off a few teeth or if the car has cams and not tuned can cause p300 or poor fuel quality too low of octane, not likely but a bad intake gasket, a vacuum leak will cause high idle a lean condition ive seen the gasket folded over on cyl #1 cause a miss rough/high idle hard start but no code or there's damage in the wiring harness some where bad plug end will need visual and can some time find by shaking the wires a little depending on the damage

    ive recently tackled my boost lines and the kit i received from modern performance the wga line was shorter i ended up just going to full rubber lines afterwords due to it being simple to install maybe you have experienced this too?

      I’ve always been luck and had some used ones I never had a set of the new ones yet

    What do you with them if you install an air intake?

    • @Mattsneedforspeed
      @Mattsneedforspeed  6 месяцев назад

      if your still on a stock set up you keep the vac lines hooked up some/most of the kits come with a bracket to mount the solenoid pack off the battery tray

    I recently got a check engine light on my 04 srt4 and it showed up as “reinstall vacuum hose at intake manifold or fuel pressure regulator” what does that mean exactly

    Matt I'm having problems with my newest srt4. It'll spool up 2 like 4k n than it'll just like fall on its face and. Bog out. Is that a bad turbo or maybe wastegate

    • @Mattsneedforspeed
      @Mattsneedforspeed  2 года назад

      could be a few things, check the vacuum lines hooked up correctly something plugged off that shouldn't be, does it have aftermarket waste gate? bad intake gasket, vacuum hose leak, boost leak bad bov, map or tip sensor bad not matched or tune not rescaled for the car short in damaged wiring at the main ecm plug could be one or more of these things or none, I;d look every thing over and double check can try one or 2 things go for a test ride, id guess its seeing over boost

    I'm running a S3 turbo with agp wastegate. Does it matter which nipple I use off the turbo to connect the two?
    I hope I worded that correctly

    • @Mattsneedforspeed
      @Mattsneedforspeed  Год назад +1

      Yes I think so the one feeds the solenoid for the waste gate the other is for the evap system the one for the waste gate should be the one near the end where the hot side pipe connects, the pipe under the car

  • @grownnotflown2
