So, if I replaced my factory surge valve with an external BOV and I'm getting only 5-7psi boost now with a BWS from turbobay and an FM wastegate with 17psi spring, do I need a MBC to up my boost or is it something I can remedy by adjusting the wastegate by turning the nut clockwise to allow more boost?
I wanted to mention before the external BOV and hardpipes I was getting around 25psi spike and holding around 20psi on duster tune with stock vac setup and a stockish diverter valve setup (had that turboxs diverter valve from the hyundai velociter that fits our cars)

I have a big turbo srt4 but I’m wanting do this on my car but I still have my solenoids and one or two lines connected still . I’d like to send you a video of it so you could help me out 😅 to tell me if I need it that way or not ..

there is really no need for any unless its tuned on pcm boost control or they still have some lines hooked up for the evap system but that doesn't need to run threw the solenoids

Good explanation. Do you experience any issues running w/o the TIP?

    • @Mattsneedforspeed

The tip is hooked up it’s plugged in, it has to see atmospheric pressure on the outside the map sees vacuum and boost the ecm sees the voltage both show and helps adjust the tune the red solenoid that had the hoses let the tip see the boost forthwith pcm control
