I miss the 70's like you can't imagine! The music, the trends, the fun, the freedom feeling, the movements, the clothes, the protests, the dancing, the disco's, & most of all, we all just liked each other, without question💞Great reaction💞
Enjoyable time to grow up in as a Black person for me. The Black middle class was thriving. We could ride our bikes around the hood, go to the parks, play, and stay out til dark; no gunshots or gang banging; just peaceful.
I grew up to this music !!! It always lifted people up and made them wanna sing, dance and even skate to this song! Fun times and I miss them !!! So much fun and always brings smiles !
I am old as dirt, ha, I was a teen when this group had all these hits and I had a crush on K.C. and that smile of his! Man, we always had to get up and DANCE when KC and the Sunshine Band came on the radio. Their songs were a bit repetitious but since they were made for fun and dancing and were popular at the old time roller skating rink, we didn't care if most of their songs weren't exactly "deep" lyric wise, ha.
The 70's and 80's are the best period for groove with real instruments, KC, Chic, Temptations, Commodores, and many others. My son is 24 years old and it's not his era, yet with his buddies, he doesn't miss any nostalgia night where we go dancing. Definitely the best 🎉😊
1. That's The Way I Like It 2. Keep It Coming Love 3. Get Down Tonight 4. Please Don't Go ( this one is laid back I promise ) 5. Boogie Shoes Start with anyone of these banggers you will enjoy the ride
The Disco Era!!! Love it.... I'm 73 yrs old and I still can get down. Lovd these song. Don't laugh I still have a pair of bell bottom pants. My kids crack up!!! So much fun!!🕺💃❤😊
🤣💋💟❤💛💚💙💜😘🥰💣 KC and the Sunshine band was awesome in the 70's .It was fun being a teenager then .Lots of Love 💘 Love your videos ! God Bless !!!💟 Kansas City.💋💋💋
Your reactions are appreciated and fun to watch. Get Down Tonight, That's the Way I Like It, Boogie Shoes, Shake You Booty are more KC & Sunshine Band songs for you to check out...
They were founded back in 1973 in Hialeah Florida hence their name "KC & The Sunshine Band." The state of Florida's moniker is 'The Sunshine State.' Love your reaction...All the best.
Laid back? This song?! They lied to you, my man. Big time pants on fire lying. This song gets *everyone* on their feet. And that horn section is, quite literally, kickin'. Best since the big band era. Now listen to Shake your booty.
I grew up with them. They were an amazing band. Your reaction was fantastic, yet hilarious. When you said in the beginning that u were told this was a calm, laid back, I'm like "They lied to YOU! 😂😂😂
The good ole 70’s! My mom and Dad used to have the BLUE LIGHT BASEMENT parties & all you heard was KC, the Bee-Gees, Earth Wind & Fire!! GREAT TIMES!!! REAL ALBUMS; put the needle down & let the FUNK GET IN YOUR SYSTEM!
Haha you'll hafta react to more KC Sunshine Band (Get Down Tonight, That's The Way I Like It) ; my dad grew up on them and shared them with me when I was 6 and I jammed out too! xD
Watching them live was one of the best concerts I’ve ever went to. They were incredibly and the horn section was crazy good. Just a great fun band to watch and listen to
I always thought that the younger rapper-types, ( I don't mean to generalize about the reactor, but he seems like he would fit into that genre), would enjoy the old funk, soul and disco tunes. But now I know that they do seem to like the roots of their current trends. Which is cool. It makes sense.
It's true disco. I know this to be true. I was there. Dancing at the clubs with my disco partner, we practiced together every weekend during the day, then hit the clubs. KC and that bad ass band was magic. The brass section was so damn hot.
Dude, Rob Zombie did a cover of this song for The Crow: City of Angels soundtrack. You gotta check that one out! Totally different feel, but just as hype!
got yaself a new subscriber 💪🏾I appreciate your energy, king. i can see you love music. I gotta get some joints up here that speak to that feeling that dont get reacted to. The Spinners - I Love the Music Dynasty - Adventures In The Land of Music
When I am dancing, I am doing the boogie, dancing from my generation. Lots of energy and makes you dance, not great on lyrics, but doesn't matter as long as you can dance.
I’m from Miami, KC and the sunshine band is a very big deal in Miami, and I grew up during this time so cleaning the house with my mom on Saturday listening to KC was the shit.
Somebody done told you wrong! This song makes the dead rise and dance.
I grew up as a kid with this song playing in the background and I still get chills when I hear that “1-2-3…”
