Looking forward to seeing the dyno graph - Good Luck! BTW, I was just telling my wife how easy it is to change the oil on this car, compared to others I've had. What about the oil change process don't you like?

Where the oil filter is. It make a mess of everything. Same thing on my 240sx though so it is what it is.
I am also looking forward to seeing what this thing will do. Fuel system will most definitely be the limiting factor this time around (~315cc injectors) but still curious to see what it’ll do.

Great video! Whats your thoughts on upgrading to coil over plug for the IS?

I will say that the stock ignition system does have limits. What those limits are will vary from setup to setup. I would say that if you plan on making more than 600 whp then I don’t see the need to do so. Even if you plan on making more power than that, you could run an ignition amplifier if it is cost effective.
The is300 coils might be able to make more, I think the system as a whole would be at its limit around 600ish whp. Of course I have not seen everything under the Sun and there might be some guy claiming to make 1000whp on stock ignition system.
Most COP 2JZ I see are making 800+ whp

    How’s the Diotswerks DWR1000 running?

Hey! I actually am running the DW300 (340Lph rated) pump. So far it’s perfect! It should support up to 600whp on pump gas. Of course being a GE bottom end, I will never reach that.

      What are you asking?
I don’t know what your setup is, what ECU you are running or what you mean by the o2 sensors are there?

Don't go innovative. They are more high maintenance than my ex wife. Go aem x series. They run a stronger accurate signal. Sounds like you have a Brad ground wire to your aem. If the sensor doesn't get a good ground it will foul out.

Thanks for the tip. I was going to go with the x series before I bought this AEM wide band I have. Problem is, I don’t need the X-series. It has a built in controller and more features that I will even need. I already have a Bosch 4.9 LSU feeding my stand alone. It works great! The AEM gauge in my pod is simply there for redundancy. My plan was to just try another brand of a basic wide band (w/gauge) and see how it last. I was reading people were have the same problem with sensors dying on the innovative but the overall rating was good enough (~4.7 out of 5 stars) just like the AEM was.
I know my ground is good. That was the second thing I checked. It is on a sanded off piece of metal. I even took it off and re attached it to be sure.

@Knownworldwide yeah that makes sense. But being you've have two sensors go bad I bet you have a bad group or power wire. If you leave a sensor in the down pipe without power going to it, it will destroy the sensor.

@@richardwilliams9815 First one worked just fine for about 7 months. Then it died. Second failed within 15 seconds. Just gonna change up. I was gonna buy a Stack wide band because I trust them but again, I don’t need a very high end controller. So, I will just have to deal with it after the dyno session.

@Knownworldwide I'm excited to see what it makes. Just picked up a 05 in San Diego and drove it home to Salt Lake city. Car is in amazing condition. I love your build set up. I actually build turbos for a living. I'm going to pull the engine this spring and do gte rods and a s300 ball bearing turbo. Plan on around 16/18psi on pump hopefully 500whp. It's completely stock so going to be fun building it.

@@richardwilliams9815 awesome! Yeah, I am new to this platform but not to modifying cars. I am just trying to provide a relatively budget setup for all those out there who are happy with a modest amount of power. I know my injectors are going to limit me but I have run 9psi so far and that is definitely the ragged edge of the fuel system. I am just curious to see what it will make.
My buddy seems to think it’s gonna make good power. We’ll see.
