Hublots are absolute beauties compared with this horrors. Enough of Hublot hating. Hating Hublot is being a sheep. They are just a brand with some nice and some not so nice models. Like many other brands.
@@AndrewMorganWatches You did play it straight, it was just such a horrible subject in the middle of light hearted criticism. Raising awareness is good because there are still imany dangerous watches out there. Your videos are great, keep up the good work 👍 . Duncan
What a wordsmith you are Andrew 👏 Seeing some of the most disgusting creations imaginable was still an enjoyable experience listening to your commentary. A bit like watching a Blackadder Goes Forth episode back in the day & trying to recall the many humorous lines. Just too many..........one watch isn't enough.
This was the most fun I have had in a good, goood while. It starts out bad, I mean really really bad and then it goes into overdrive only to transition into afterburner to the MAX. This video is a must see.
OMG - One can really sense that you had lots and lots of fun making the video. But rest assured, it was also a real plesure watching it and seeing you roasting what could only be named the abyss - or asylum? - of watchmaking! Thank you very much and keep up the good work!
I have to admit I wasn't sure it could get worse than #1. It did. I was very happy to see Tom's William Wanger Winner in there!! Wasn't that one on the "guess the price" episode? :'D
I spit out my coffee when "bejeweled corona virus" came out of your mouth...and speaking of coffee, I've got a great idea for a monstrosity watch prototype. It needs to be based off all the tiresome props we all use on Instagram to make our watch shots look "cool". The dial face maybe a doubloon of some sort. obviously coffee beans are a must. Shall we use then as indices? The bezel will be marked with "SEIKO MOD" instead of numbers or hashmarks. ...maybe the caseback could be made from the lens of a vintage camera? I LOVED this episode!
Hilarious Andrew, I didn't realise i needed cheering up until, after watching it, I was sitting here chuckling to myself every time one of your delightful pieces of wordsmithery popped into my head again. Keep up the good work.
Awww, so green and fuzzy! Props to you for mentioning radium and the craze it inspired and all the women who died applying radium paint to watch dials.
Quality humour is hard to come by….stop by here for the best of the best of comedy anonymous! Great stuff, light hearted with many a true word said in jest!
Hey Andrew, I throughly enjoyed this video. One of the best ones for me. It has been a 9 minutes long laugh! Fantastic. Thank you very much and keep up the good work!
Almost impossible to believe that Invicta were once a maker of well respected chronographs. Not always ugly but my own pet hates are watchmakers who with little or no connection to the subject make "basking in other peoples glory" watches. They know who they are!!
This is really quite WONDERFULLY savage! Also 4:56, Arsebiscuit! Thanks Andrew, will be, erm, storing that one away for possible future use! This is fucking hilarious, HELP!
That last one - the green befurred creation - is hilarious. On a serious note, if I were going out dressed entirely in green velvet this would be my go-to watch.
The Invicta surpassed all of my expectations. I could not help but laugh 😂 It is so horrendous, that I kind of think it is genius. Exceptional skills in designing atrocities.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video, it flowed like poetry of a horological verity, yet the writing is strong and bold enough to stand on its own. Not just move out of the house and starting a new life strong and bold, but insisting that it’s first flat being a sovereign nation type of strong and bold. It may have been about horrible watches, but hearing you wax lyrical about just how masterfully the horror embodied in them was, was indeed a feast. Excellent as always Andrew!
I bought a Daytona set with diamonds because I hoped the girl selling it to me wouls come with it. She'd forgotten my name by the time "remove card" appeared. The watch went the way of my hair. This video was genuinely very funny. Good stuff. Ps. I'd have lumed the Covid 19 with redium.
Nice. My first time seeing you in a video was when you were talking about Nico. I found myself not only agreeing with what you were saying, but also respecting you for something I greatly enjoy seeing happen to me. I love having my preconceptions proved wrong and having my opinions changed. Now I am very much enjoying your videos. I like good talker. I like someone who can speak with true authority on a subject. I like cheeky perspective. I am liking your videos. Thanks.
Oh my god "this watch is no worse than the house cat it self, this ass biscuit of a watch" L O L. This is better than how Nico would respond to a watch like that. Brilliant!
I was born blind, and listened to this video a year ago. Due to a clever scientist, my sight has been recently restored. One of my first missions was to track down this exact video. Although I can't take legal action against the scientist and the surgeon, I feel that perhaps we are wasting technology, while not tackling the root of the problem, like the training of watch designers?
Nice video on these watch artistry bad sides, Andrew 😂⌚👍. Certainly looked more like festival costume watches than just watches. These can certainly be worn to any themed festival parties or even better, a theatre prop and would definitely fit into the atmosphere with ease while wouldn't looked out of place! All just for good laughs! 😂⌚👍.
Having so much fun! I reckon the Grinch's watch at the end rules. Isn't interesting how designer can find inspiration on almost everything. I guess Invicta and Rolex were together here finding inspiration even on fantastic animals' 💩
I haven't had time to watch this yet but I will. My instinctive reaction to the title was "surely pretty much everything prior to the quartz revolution". In this context I think "revolution" is more appropriate than "crisis". You see, back then, an accurate watch was considered +/- 20mins a day. The only thing the non hacking second hand was good for was to show the watch was actually running at all. The idea of waterproofness was not to go out in the rain. If the mainspring lasted a year then you had a "good un". Then in 1973 Roger Moore, as James Bond, pushed the button on that Hamilton Pulsar P2 2900 and the world changed to a better place in an instant, for ever.
Your sense of humor and jokes make me laugh more than almost all "professional" comedians. You are so funny you might even be able to save SNL, if they realized they needed saving, and begged, pleaded and tried to bury you in piles and piles of cash to join their team of ass biscuits.
I heard of an interview with Steven Tyler wherein he was wearing that leopard Daytona. He apparently said, “It costs a lot to look this cheap!” Didn’t hear it myself, but it sure sounded spot on!!
