- Shalgam ghost is a very popular recipe in North Indian, specially during winter season. It is basically made with mutton, shalgam( turnip) with blend of spices, curd and freshness with coriander leave n green chilli. Shalgam Ghost
Preparation time:- 15-20 min
Cooking time:- 20-30 min
INGREDIENTS
Mustard oil- 3tbsp
Bay leave- 1
Green cardamom- 2
Cinnamon stick- 1/2
Onion- 2 ( medium, slice)
Mutton- 500gm
Salt to taste
Shalgam leave- handful (finely chopped)
Ginger & garlic paste- 1tbsp
Kashmiri chilli- 1/2tbsp
Turmeric- 1tsp
Coriander powder- 1 1/2tsp
Beaten curd- 1/4cup
Water- 1/2cup
Ghee- 2tbsp
Cumin seed- 1tsp
Ginger- 1 1/2 inch ( julienne)
Shalgam/ turnip- 3-4 ( 1/4size)
Black cardamom- 1 (crushed)
Green chilli- 3-4 (slit)
Coriander leave- handful (chopped)
Garnish with coriander leave n green chilli, served with roti, naan n rice.
