- Is the V8 dead? This 2021 Challenger Scat Pack Widebody continues you on but Dodge says change is coming. Under the hood you will still find a 6.4L V8 that is pumping out 485HP & mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. On the outside you will find the big bold muscle cars lines. I was waiting on the redesign and ended up pulling the trigger on a widebody challenger 392. No regrets! It's my dream car.

I got the TorRed one. Took it on a road trip to So Cal and fell in love with it. This car, even though I am literally driving it as slowly as possible to break it in correctly, is still a joy to drive....if you can..pull that trigger.
I ordered one 2 months ago and took delivery 4 days ago. I got it fully loaded with a manual transmission. I love this car!

Another awesome review Joe! Honestly wish I would have kept my 2018 Challenger Hellcat in maximum steel. So much fun had in just the few months before switching it for the Trackhawk. I love how timeless the challenger is, over the years of this generation it hasn't changed much. I just couldn't live with the doors being so long especially if someone parked close, all before my fitness journey and a 100lbs heavier, found it hard to get out and those ridiculous exterior door handles... don't know how many times my fingers slipped and caused them to slap the vehicle. Keep up the awesome reviews.

Solid motor! I had a Charger 392 cammed, and it was a ton of fun! On retuning the car it put down 490whp and 533wtq. It was a great street car! However, they get stolen too often. Won't ever buy another product from them unfortunately.

This is the same exterior as my Scat Pack. I have the all black interior though. I drive in track mode all the time and I get 12MPG - Perfect!!
I do recommend the mid-muffler delete if you get one - It sounds a lot better.

The best dodge hood ever! Better than the Demon hood (too big). Better than the dual snorkel hood on the hellcats (looks like a terrible afterthought following the issues with the demon hood). This hood here... timeless classic muscle design.

Just ordered a 2021 and I’m glad these things are “boats” they are the only car left for a tall guy anymore. At 6’9 being an automotive enthusiast is tough and the challenger is one of the more comfortable options for us big guys. God bless the challenger for being a “boat”, long live American muscle🤘🏻

What a gorgeous car, Beautiful, fast it has everything that I want. I may have to get one !! Update 12/21/2021, went down to my Dodge dealer and I ordered a 2022 RT challenger scat pack widebody. The color I chose was go mango, fully loaded should get in about mid March. I’m excited and I can’t wait. PS thanks for a great video.
