Perfect demonstration! I was torn between the two. Currently had a muffler delete but after watching this I ordered the Dynomax. A little more quiet, but the tone is nice and deep! 👍🏽
I installed the Dynomax Race Bullets on my 2018 ScatPack Challenger 392 6.4L and after about a year the race bullets now sound like they have a deep tone because of the carbon build up inside the race bullets. That will change the sound of your exhaust to more of a deep tone. The guy at the muffler shop told me that when I first got them installed. Sure enough he was right. You still get that little rasp sound when you hit it. But it's not the same from when I got them installed. I'm going to change to the Mid-Muffler delete. I think that has a better sound. But that's my preference. Just want to put that out there for you who are thinking about going the Dynomax route.

Im a muffler delete guy but ima have to go dynomax this time sounds awesome.
i have it on mine and its the best mod i have ever done. no drone and not obnoxiously loud. i like it more then a delete because it keeps the stock sound but just makes it much louder

Definitely love the comparison videos, makes it so much easier to compare, you guys should do 4th or 5th gen ram hemis with true duals, as in no crossovers, no x pipes and no dual in dual out mufflers, real true duals
This video is pure gold...! The muffler delete actually doesn't sound bad and neither does the Dynomax. Just personal preference.
Helmholtz chambers or a J-pipe would be needed on either car to deal with that drone, though....
The advantage aftermarket exaust has, is that they are generally larger diameter and flow better than straight piping. I got rid of the stock setup on my Challenger from the cat's back, and was one of the first mods that we did. Went with SLP loudmouth 1s, and sound great on these hemis. There's not much to them and basically consists of 3" with 2 open chamber racing bullets, and deletes the resos. Want to do headers next and should sound really good together

Well, this is a tough one. I have a 21 Scat Pack challenger and torn between these two setups. My take is that at idle the MMD sounds kind of like a truck, and at wide open throttle sometimes has a tin can sound at the higher RPM but SCREAMS. The dynomax has a much more classic muscle car sound but doesn’t really scream at the higher RPM like the MMD. Also in the video, the purple charger really took off, the black charger had a much slower take off so it wasn’t as impressive….either way, both sound great and I’m still unsure what I wanna do…leaning towards the race bullets tho

Dynomax sounds a bit more controlled in the higher rpm.
Facts I have them on my 6.4 WideBody and it sounds damn good!!! It drones in auto a bit but in custom, track and sport.... It’s awesome NO Drone..

Close but Muffler Delete had more Beast Mode.

I love my mid muffler delete on my HEMI 392 6.4 it’s a deep roar! This may be a goofy question. Same vehicle HEMI 392 6.4 what kind of sound would you get by deleting the mid mufflers but adding the dyno bullets?
You delete the mid mufflers to install the bullets
Marcus; the first car had the mid mufflers removed and the second car had the mid-mufflers removed and replaced with the Dynomaxes.
I did a muffler delete on my 2017 challenger r/t and it’s way too raspy.
In this video, you have to consider that the black charger has Carven's 5 inch Exhaust tips and it does change the tone as well so i think its not much of a even comparison. I have the race bullets but nerver installed them and went with the muffler delete.
Venom SRT I really doubt the tips will change a whole lot in terms of sound. The tip only makes up for like 6” of the exhaust
The carven 5 inch tips do change the sound honestly. I have both (dynomax and carven) and the tone is a bit lower than when I had just my dynomax and stock tips
I like the dynomax deeper muscle car tone than the raspy muffler delete. I'm going to go with the dynomax mini race bullet's

Only hemis i know get everything chopped my friends 6.1 is LTH and straight pipe his girls 09 RT is muffler resonator delete the RT is still quiet in the car i recommend RTs just chop muffler and reso especially muffler thing weighs like 20lbs atleast the suitcase ones.straight piped hemi is only way to go hell my 5.0 just has high flows and straight pipe but damn it needs a resonator just trying find the right one
I have a muffler delete at full throttle you can't beat the sound but I've lost that deep rumble bought some 1794s if all else fails I still have the stock mufflers lost low end torque but it is faster now top end. The purple sounded better at full throttle but the black one sounded better overall just not at full throttle. My wb scat pops and crackles like crazy i love it I have a m6 it's all about your preference worst on gas now too.
if u lost torque just pull fuse i think its 35 or somethen or another :)

I just got a shop to replace my back resonators with dynomax race bullets! It sounds so much better! It sounds more clean and clear. I loved the way it sounded with just a muffler delete but now it sounds wayyy better. When I mash on the gas it doesn't clap anymore. But I can't lie I miss it 🤣. But it gives it a deeper growl while it's in park. I love it and only paid 50 for both on amazon and a muffler shop charged me 120$. Great investment and worth it.

Yeah I currently have a mid muffler delete but have the mini bullets just haven't installed them. Heard they sound better than the mm delete like ads better tone so I'm looking forward to see.
Pull the trigger on it, you won't regret it. The sound gets even better as they break in.
