- 👋 So after installing the AWE Resonated Touring exhaust system on my Manual Toyota Supra, let's take a look at how the Supra sounds compared to the stock exhaust! All of these clips do feature the MST high flow catted downpipe! Comparison with the stock downpipe is linked below!
Here it is! Time to complete my brand new 2023 manual transmission Toyota Supra and ad the rest of the exhaust system! Let's install the AWE Touring Resonated catback exhaust for the MK5 Supra 3.0! This new exhaust sounds absolutely amazing with the B58 motor. So pumped with the combination of a deep tone and some gurgles! Installing the AWE exhaust for the Supra was pretty straight forward. It's a direct replacement to the factory exhaust and will connect to your factory downpipe or an aftermarket downpipe! I have the MST high flow catted downpipe on my Supra and this connected to it perfectly. I love the 5in chrome tips, they fit in the bumper well and look amazing! The sound of the AWE exhaust is so unique! It's a very deep and aggressive tone and really makes the Supra sound like a proper sportscar. The Supra is so addicting to drive rowing through the gears and listening to this amazing motor roar! Also when driving the Supra like normal, there is no drone and the car really sounds tame. Under throttle the car starts to come alive! And Sport mode still ads a louder tone and the pops and gurgles. While the AWE kit does not utilize an active valve, it really doesn't need it since the engine tuning in Sport mode changes a good amount of the sounds. I really think the AWE exhaust for the Supra is the sweet spot! You can also get an even louder setup without resonators or without mufflers! And paired to a catless downpipe you'll have al the sound! Great exhaust and offers the best tone for the Supra to just make it sound perfect! @BrosFOURRSpeed I've been running my MT bone stock since I got it in April. I'm hesitant to do any mods cause of warranty but I've been really leaning on at least a catback. The system you just installed sounds really really good 👍 other option I was looking at was valvetronics but I kinda like the more full deeper tone you're getting from the awe system
@@LampEyeVisible oh nice! Yeah basic bolt ons like the cat back and intake won’t void warranty. A dealer would have to prove that part caused whatever issue you’re in there for. A cat back for sure can’t cause an issue for a car. The AWE really is a unique tone. It’s super mature sounding and is just amazing! All with zero highway drone. These are made to order, and usually arrive in about 5 weeks if you want one!

Would be interesting. AWE doesn’t make a lot for the 2.0. But we do have Fi downpipes and exhaust for the 2.0 on our website!
I can definitely hear the deeper tone with th awe setup, but is there a singificant increase in volume with the awe? Been running my 21 with at catless downpipe since new. Getting bored with it and looking for better sound and something louder without adding too much rasp.

Yeah I havent heard the HKS in person. All I can say is, AWE has a very unique tone and everyone who orders one from us seems to absolutely love it!

I remember people were complaining that the AWE exhaust muffled all the burbles so they were non existent. Guess that's not the case! Unless the DP is what's making the difference
Yeah definitely not. The newer cars have quieter gurgles then the older 2020. But inspirit mode you can hear a bit stock. Any aftermarket exhaust makes them louder. And the downpipe really makes them come alive

Thats how it's going to be. They didn't make many in manual. Shipping is easy. Or fly out and drive one home. I drove my Lambo 11 hours home. Fun road trip!
Made a deposit on a absolute zero 3.0 premium 6MT last week and I was told it’ll arrive in 5 weeks so I’m very excited. I have t driven one and thankfully the deposit is refundable but I highly doubt I won’t immediately fall in love with the car.

Do you know if an exhaust change would void the toyota warranty? Also, do you recommend the extended warranty?
Oh nice! You'll love it! I wouldnt waste money on an extended warranty. Car already has a warranty for like 60k miles. And these are super reliable. No this exhaust will not void any warranty. They'd have to prive that it caused an issue. Which is imposible for ann exhuast to cause an issue. If you tune the car, thats when you could run into issues with a dealer wanting to not cover something under warranty. But the basic bolt on wont effect it.
These exhaust have about a 5 week build time. So if you order it now you'll get it right in time! ;)

In sport mode yes! Normal mode doesn't do it. But with the high flow cat as well, it really wakes things up

Strange I think the stock exhaust with the tune would easy be best.
Had the B58 with M Performance Power & Sound performance exhaust and didn't sound this good stock one.😢 Then again was always inside so maybe.
The before clips in this video had the high flow cat. Sounded good paired to the stock system. AWE really makes it sound amazing tho

I had that on my last Supra. But this one doesnt need tuning and can give the same power once tuned.

How is the difference in volume? I have an HKS exhaust with a catted downpipe on my Supra, cold start are loud but otherwise it’s a pretty quiet exhaust. I’m also not super happy with the tone. I’m considering switching to AWE, which would likely have a deeper tone and be a bit louder.
The AWE tone is very deep. It's much different then others I've heard and just has a very proper sound. I've been very happy with it. To me especially with the catted downpipe, its perfect. It almost never happens that stock exhaust sounds better than aftermarket, but this time it is the case.

It's because he has an aftermarket downpipe so the awe isn't increasing the volume too much instead it's changing the tone to smooth and deep vs tinny and raspy.

I've only heard the HKS in videos. But the AWE sounds so good! From other people who have heard both, AWE definitely is more deep and aggressive.

Mine arrives at the end of June, but for some reason I find it hard to think it's decent to basically disable the exhaust valving. I'll be looking at the hks solution instead
Honestly most of the sound change is from the ECU tuning in sport mode. Still cool to have a valve. But the tone of the AWE kit is so good, I love the subtle sound difference in sport mode vs normal

@@glenmarie6089 they are still a business. Spending millions to develop a low volume sportscar wouldn’t make them any money. They’d spend more money developing the car then they’d ever earn in profits. It just wouldn’t make sense
