Jonathan and Jessie chatting about Chopin on Classic FM is refreshing 🎶🎞
:(
Never heard 15 minutes of a podcast and heard so different insights of the topics, so great
It's nice to hear an interview which doesn't ask the same questions everyone else has asked. I mean, sure, Jonathan did ask questions Jesse has heard before, but focusing this discussion on music was a nice angle.
Probably one of my favourite podcasts interviews with any actor ever. Jesse is amazing.
It's so weird that Kieran is nominated for supporting actor. He is definitely the lead as Jesse says here. It's a lovely film and the soundtrack is lovely.
Great interview! Love Chopin. 💛
That is an IU hat. His wife is from Bloomington, Indiana and he has spent some time here. He likes the town as do I. Came here for college and pretty much been here ever since. 3:56
Liked the placement of the Minute Waltz during a running chase scene
jesse is the GOAT
LOL, really? How many people then are behind him?
Chopin's heats is in a church on Krakowskie Przedmieście in the old part of Warsaw. That was his wish.
It’s so funny that it cuts to a scene from the movie and Jesse is wearing the same hat
Two forces of nature !!!!
That anecdote that Jonathan tells about Cream and Scorsese is actually about Goodfellas, not Casino!
❤😂 I just turned adult
Loved loved loved that Chopin was used - it seemed like the obvious, but sensible choice. But I have to say I had a lot of issues with the specific recordings they used, the specific renditions of some of the nocturnes, and how those recordings were balanced into the final mix of the film… marks were missed.
He didn't really have any other choice, only one composer from Poland is known everywhere and that's Chopin
@ I liked that nearly all the scenes where the characters are specifically in transit were underscored by études
Chopin was Polish? I didn't know that he was an antisemite
U so...
