I’ve just watched another video and they do shiny side down, worked perfectly and stuck to the mat
Hey Leasa! After making this video I learned from a viewer that different brands do it different ways so make sure you read your instructions depending on brand you purchase. Thanks for the note and happy crafting! 💕
Thanks for the tips. One thing to note, which side you put down depends on the brand, my puff htv still requires the shiny side to go down. Great video!

I would actually recommend another press, a second press does no harm and a lot of time even helps w smoothing, but I think you’re not getting enough pressure with your easy press. It should not look like a worm so maybe trying a commercial heat press will get you a better, more accurate result 😊

Thank you so much for crafting with me! As for using an iron, I've never tried it. The key with puff is pressure and a consistent heat. If I tried it, I would make a test project, with no steam and as much pressure as I could apply. If you try it, let me know! 🩷
@@KimByers I tried it with an iron. I wasn’t able to get the right temperature. It was either too hot or not hot enough. In the later , the heat didn’t distribute evenly. I got some puff with some sections not sticking to the fabric.
@@sapitabonita1 I’m so sorry! I was afraid that would be exactly the case. Puff really needs that exact heat and pressure. 🥺😩
What size do you make the the mama letter for the sweater.
It really depends on your sweatshirt and if you're wearing it true to size or like the large oversize trend. I would measure the chest of the sweatshirt I'm using, and then determine what width I wanted the word to be. When you size it to that length in Cricut Design Space it will auto adjust the height. Hey Debbie! You'll need to download it to your computer and upload it to Cricut. If you're not familiar with the process of uploading designs to Design Space, it's pretty easy. Open the app on your computer, open a new canvas and you'll see the "upload" button in the left navigation. Thanks so much for crafting with me! 🩷

Where did you find your font?
This particular font is a varsity style font called Yearbook, but there are tons of them out there. :) Happy crafting!
My puff keep cutting all the way through
Hi Tisha! Check your material selection. You may need to use a small piece and adjust your pressure. You could cut a small heart until you get it correct. Since there is no Cricut brand yet, there is no exact setting in Design Space. Best of luck and thanks for watching!
