I must say that out of all of the hundreds and probably thousands of videos that I have watched about t-shirts and prepressing, NO ONE AND I MEAN NOT 1 PERSON has ever explained properly and/ or showed the reason for prepressing to remove the moisture like you have done in this video!!🔥👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽
I was told by my supplier that the one thing is to quickly remove your carrier because it's the process of the transfer breathing that helps it expand. So, in example, your first press you left it covered, that affected your transformation. As in your second press, you quickly removed the carrier, which also made a difference along with your prepress.
With small images like the one you show here, you can avoid the wrinkles adding a cushion padding under the shirt so the heat press will have more pressure area to "push" down the puff vinyl a bit more, this trick have worked for me perfectly every time even with larger designs.
Just came across your video when looking for tips on using puff. This is THE best. No-one else shows this. I really aporeciate you taking the time to explain this so clearly so all of us can get it right when we use puff and have confidence with it.
I gotta say.. I have watched dozens and dozens of tutorials and not ONE single person has mentioned about the moisture in the shirts. Everyone kept saying time and temp, time and temp.. I had to press mine at 285 for 5 seconds but mannnn… after I got all the moisture out of the shirt, it ended up being absolutely PERFECT! Thank you SO much for this!
I loved this video.. OMG it was so helpful.. I've only been into this for a little over a year. Been doing pretty good, but want to do more than Regular, Hologram and Glitter Htv... Just a few weeks ago I helped a friend with some hoodies and I just had to press them because she had already weeded and cut them out, and some of them came out crinkly as some of hers did too but she just say oh that happens sometimes, so I don't think she knew what to do. And we pressed them at 290 degrees for 10 secs. And she was like no longer than that but I didn't know cuz I never worked with puff before so now that I know I'm excited to try it... She's the one that got me into this business. She's been in it now for about 7 yrs.
😊 Tou the MAN Mr. T-Shirt! I never done puff but the fact I saw your video on my timeline., I watched for entertainment value. It was worth it to gleen from your wisdom.
thank you SO MUCH!! It's crazy that Siser does not have a video talking about this common problem... I've been searching for puff troubleshooting videos for hours and yours really helped!
Mine wrinkled up so bad😬!! Just came across your video and I must say it's very, very helpful! However, I did the extra heat and press and it got worse and worse lol. I wish I could show you... I'm going to try it again though.
After watching this, I'm definitely liking & subscribing - I need to learn puff, but to date have not had great success with it.Lots of funky "what the heck" but nothing that looks like this.
This was extremely helpful! I have a Cricut Easy Press and I’ve been having anxiety about pressing this puff. It’s a large design and I thought I couldn’t get the previously pressed part hot again! THANK YOU!!!
Im glad I do research beforehand. A lot of people are running into this. Now I'm positive I will not have issues. RUclips university is the best New subscriber here. Looking forward to more great videos
Do you think I can try this with a shirt that’s already been pressed a couple days ago? Or does it need to be immediately after the initial press? Thank you so much for this video!!!
Hi I’m wondering why it doesn’t go completely flat after pressing and repressing? I read somewhere you get one shot on puff vinyl and if you repress it just becomes flat regular kind of vinyl. You pressed several times and yours got better and better! How did that happen? Thanks
You don’t need much pressure or a long press just a quick 8-10 secs with light-med pressure. The trick is to pull what remaining steam thru the vinyl to pull the puff back up
Thank you so much!!! Do you have a video on removing wrinkles from HTV after being washed, I made some shirts from siser easy weed htv and it got wrinkled after washing and drying in hot water/dry

Well, only the first garment looked good, everyone after that wrinkled. I am trying your technique and I will see what happens.

Give it a try! If the puff is already wrinkled it can’t get any worse. Just 8 secs to n med to light press
I will try it out! Thank you so much! I had no idea you could repress puff vinyl at all. This was super helpful!
Did it work?@@nicollerichardet8140
I actually stopped using Teflon sheets. I noticed that has been trapping a lot of steam. Since I switched to butcher paper, all my presses been 👍

Do you have a video on removing wrinkles from HTV after being washed, I made some shirts from siser easy weed htv and it got wrinkled after washing and drying in hot water/dry
If your siser is wrinkling your washing and drying in too hot of temp. Htv garments should be air dried to last
Just asking question will I be able to remove the wrinkles after that’s happened? Can they be ironed with an iron?

What temperature and how long to keep it on 😊
Depending n your heatpress between 300-320 8-10 secs
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I've been avoiding puff after one of my applications looked like the "homework" version. 😂
But, I have also had some that looked cracked. Any advice on that?
Did they look cracked after pressing or over some times of wear & wash?
After pressing
Your possibly over cooking or pressure is too high. Try lowering the pressure and press for 8-10 secs
Perfect, I will give that a try. Thanks again!
@@Huerakhow did it turn out for you after repressing it at lower settings?
Would we use the same temperature and rime on a hoodie?

Thank you for the tips! Do you recommend prewashing the shirt when using puff? One video said that and I've never prewashed for HTV.
