If you didn't make puff paint shirts and sweaters in the 80's, were you even a real kid?? So glad to see this now and very excited to start my business.
Watched this video to learn more before I did my first puff project. So glad I did! I hadn't considered putting smooth htv underneath! You changed my whole concept for the design (and I spent more $$$ to get even more vinyl for this project!) and I'm really excited to see how it turns out!
screen printing is such along process from making the screens up, washing them down, making up the paint, printing out the acetate with design on, putting them through curing machines, spraying adhesive on the plates so T- Shirts dont move, vinyl seems more cost effective and profitable. I follow I few small independent screen printers and they even say its a long process. this is why I chose vinyl over screen printing.
I agree. I tried screen printing. It is not plug and play at all. Huge learning curve and expensive to start out. I respect it but it’s not for me and I don’t have space for all the equipment needed.
Omg, you be killing me! Lol Now you will have jokers try to rub up on you! Which could be bad or good I guess. You inspire me to try new things. Thank you
Yes my main business is screen printing. water based screen printing lasts longer than any other printing method used to date. It actually penetrates deep into the fabric and becomes part of the shirt. It doesn't sit on top of the fabric. The only way that water-based ink phase is if the actual fabric Vipers come out with a shirt with H which is pretty cool because the ink always matches the age of the shirt. This is why water-based ink is known for its unique distressed look.
I’m having trouble learning the features on the Cameo 4. You’re the only one doing videos on the Cameo 4, and I’m watching but when you hit the icons, I don’t know where you went in order to get that information registered in my big head. Good videos though. Thank you for your time.
It's dope... I having a difficult time to get all my letters to puff... I have seen a few different ways individuals have done the puff htv and neither have worked for me...
I really appreciate everything that you do I am learning a lot each time I check your channel. I subscribe already, you are very good Keep safe brother and many thanks 👍👍👍👍👍👍
I thought for your first layer you only pressed for 3 sec. to keep its size, because when you put heat too it will shrink. that way the second layer will fit perfect. Then you do a full press.
I love your videos and I am a subscriber, but ..... I have to say I screen print as well as using vinyl etc... and I haven't had any prints fade maybe crack after years but dont recall fading
@@adubbproductions Could maybe with water base not sure as I only use plastisol ink , im not saying its not possible I've just experienced it , man you vids on puff and flock are so cool , im glad I saw you tutorial on flock though for sure its gonna save me slot of cussing :)
bro how you get your wala puff to work? i got the black and white one the black works but the white don't come out right. they sent me a new one same problem.
Just like in the video. Do exactly what I do. It just puffs up after you follow the instructions on the website. Where did you get yours from? Heat transfer warehouse?
next time bro, consider putting an offset around the images weed the inner parts and then put the other vinyl on therefore the vinyl is actually on the shirt and not on top of the other vinyl
I have a question you said the design wouldn't fit on the vinyl for the size you want but if you size it small it will right it just for your size patch
You cut them one at a time. In the menu right before you hit send you have to select cut by fill(color) and choose the color you want to cut then load that color vinyl in your cameo then cut it.
I've never done puff but had some ideas I wanted to try. I came here bcuz this was the 1st video that popped up....sadly I learned nothing. You didn't tell the heat setting, how long to press, how hard to press, what side to cut the vinyl on... I knew just as much as I did before I watched this🙄

That’s an entire video serious bro. Lol it’s a combination of everything. Growing multiple income sources. All i can say is it doesn’t happen overnight and you gotta start from somewhere. If you never start you’ll never make your goal. It’s nit easy but it isn’t hard if you like doing it an you know what your doing. You have to build your audience though and that is the most difficult part.
You should always have a source of income no matter what your trying to do. You hear the success stories of people that quit their job and just dove in but that’s not most people’s reality. I recommend keeping your day job and working your way up. But you always need cash flow to buy things you want for any business. There is no specific budget that is needed to do this though. You can be creative and have no budget. There is no real solid map. You just have to do what works for you. I’ll make a series of videos on this.
Interesting. I’m clueless why that would happen if you followed the application instructions. Maybe there is a bad batch. Idk. I’ve never had that issue though. I’ve had several rolls of this stuff. I will I could help on this one.
Small correction. I love vynl, but my main business is screen printing. Trust me water based screen printing ink does not fade. It will last the life of the shirt. Plastisol will crack and fade but not water based inksI have screen printed water based shirts that are several years old and they are as bright as the natural fabric allows . Screen printing at least water based ink will last far better than any other print method in existence.
I am thinking of buying a Silhouette Cameo 4 because my Cricut because of print and cut . I can’t calibrate the right cutting settings and waste materials. I am dissatisfied I payed all this money for it.

I say in almost every video shinny side down. Maybe i didn’t in this one I’m not sure it’s shiny side down in most cases.

You don't actually have to change the color in the software. You just choose the color viny you want to use

Yes. It’s gone threw countless washes and stays in perfectly fine. It’s a very durable product.
