As a watercolor artist I find all of your tips valuable for any medium really, even graphite. You are so young and professional, back in the days it probably took artist a lifetime to learn all those tricks and technics.
Excellent job, Devin. You are an excellent teacher (as a professor, I've taught some 30,00 students in the past thirty years, and by my standards, you have done a great job.) i've been seriously drawing and painting for some sixty years, and the practical guidance you offer (and explain) is greatly appreciated!

Oh my! Where to start. Number 1, I only listen to people who can do, then teach. Your artwork is absolutely gorgeous. So expressive and alive. Practicing for over 50 years and still haven't gotten it right. Your pencils are to die for. Tip 21: A bad drawing will ruin any art. Concentrate on the drawing. Make the drawing as good as possible. Peeling the tape slowly off at 45° angle to itself really helps reduce tear potential. Someone else already mentioned pre-sticking it to a pant leg reduces adhesion depending on the tape and need.
Great video. Most artist give vague tips or advice. Glad to finally get some practical techniques WITH examples. And even the materials used! So helpful, great job!
I'm in awe of your work here, from editing/pacing/narration to breathtaking artwork... your expertise with composition, value, anatomy, concepts, PLUS education, PLUS the emotional impact of your work. Absolutely stunning.

I love adding bits of salt to puddles of wet-on-wet washes as they dry up in unique ways just as with the wet ink dispersing on its own in the puddles. I use it for spacey night sky effects. Love your work thank you for taking time for these videos you do.
This was really helpful!! Your work made me want to try to use ink, and this tips are the best, thank you. Also your art is BEAUTIFUL. Keep the amazing work!! ^^
Very, very useful tips! I like to combine Drawing pen, pencils, ink wash and even acrylics in various densities - all in one. The more you can put together various mediums, the more comprehensive effects you can reach...but it take practice.
I am creating my first ink wash drawing for a beginning drawing class. Your tips were EXACTLY what I’ve been wondering about, especially your use of white ink for highlighting. I pretty much guessed that it would work but bought it without confirmation. Thank you for this video...your tips were invaluable to me.
I was blown away by your artwork. Inking is my favorite media. Thank you for all the tips. I really want to try the washes, so I’m excited to try your tips. Thanks so much for sharing.
Struggling to learn how to use a brush pen right now, but damn I never realized how versatile ink can be, your video really helped a ton and now Im all pumped up to practice, Thanks! Made me sub
Well you just answered quite literally every question I've had since beginning my ink art journey this year. I mean really. Sheesh. Now I just need to rewatch it about 1000 times and then practice for as many hours, but now I know HOW to go about it. THANK YOU.

Removing Tape Trick: Use a blow-dryer in a rocking back and forth motion over the tape while you are removing it. When the tape is heated up the glue is slightly inert and lifts without tearing. If you don't rock the the blow-dryer, to much heat will melt the glue to the paper.

I still can't apply all 20 of the tips because I'm still learning, but when I' satisfied and I remember something, I'm happy to add an extra step to make it look better.

If you make any more videos on this topic, I’d love some tips specifically on character inking, such as:

*8)* How do you create shiny/reflective things, such as clothing & jewelry?
