i have a story about this song. my freshman year of highschool we were going to do this song and i auditioned for the solo but our director cut the song before she announced who got it. it’s now my senior year and we are doing this song again with a new director and i have the solo. it just never hesitates to make me cry. it’s such a powerful song

Honestly I really liked The Soloist shift back into the choir, it was like for a minute she got to show her voice off, and then she turned back into the choir like she never was a soloist. I'm not sure why but I really thought that was very smooth and very soothing to see her become one with her fellow singers again

CD "Conspirare" It was dedicated to her late husband Robert C. Hynson. I found this song comforting after losing both my parents within 6 months of each other in 1994. And then my sister Joyce Maria went home to be with the Lord at age 64.
