Excelente Voces 8!
My favorite ensemble. More goosebumps and tears than I could count! You have been a complete joy and safe place for this old choral director. Thank you all!
Let my love be heard Angels where you soar Up to God′s own light Take my own lost bird On your hearts tonight And as grief once more Mounts to heaven and sings Let my love be heard
OLA and I love you, Vladi...we all have many lands to conquer. yet..uou need to be strong and be here ...GRACE and PEACE multiplied...where you are weak..HE IS STRONG...
The road home Tell me, where is the road I can call my own That I left, that I lost So long ago? All these years I have wandered Oh, when will I know There's a way, there's a road That will lead me home Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo After wind, after rain When the dark is done As I wake from a dream In the gold of day Through the air there's a calling From far away There's a voice I can hear That will lead me home Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo Rise up, follow me Come away, is the call With the love in your heart As the only song There is no such beauty As where you belong Rise up, follow me I will lead you home
Breathtaking performance! Separately, it amazes me to hear that disruptive audience cough in the still part of a piece. People: Bring a throat drop or quietly cough into your elbow!
this is absolutely beautiful. I’ve seen both of these pieces performed separately in different years by different groups of people, and seeing the songs put together so smoothly brings warmth to my heart you couldn’t imagine :)
I’ve watched a lot of Voces8 videos but somehow this made an impression…. Not perfect sound , but hearing them as we might really enjoy a concert…. Vs the studio productions
Beautiful! I thought one of the tenors (red tie) was only singing “ooo” but there wasn’t any part singing “ooo” when there were words and realized he was trying to sing with “tall vowels”
I looked around to see if anyone commented on it. I normally don't like scooping up (and that's not really a scoop anyway), but in the context of the incredible discipline and discretion they use in no-nonsense phrasing and clarity, including that wonderful soprano, it makes that little grace note just an absolute emotional elixir. Stunning. Brought tears to my eyes for real. What a completely perfect moment. I have listened to their studio recording of this many times, but I found myself totally entranced by this recording (strangely at a different pitch, too). They are an incredible group, I plan to see them live some day.
Kelly, the one in blue..really likes you.. I don't lnow if you caught that or not...she sent me the video of you eating the cup of yogurt and her smiling on the side..you are loved and appreciated ...you are quite a character...
I dont think Voces8 are disturbed by this coughing, and after all coughing is usual amongst us. So concentrate on the music, not on the coughing, thats my advice.
Coughers? (Now I'm questioning my spelling! Stupid English phonetics). At first I thought you meant gophers... a little rodent in the US that destroys gardens and chews wires. I was so confused!

😍❤
This hands down is my favorite vocal ensemble. Their blends and harmonies are unbeatable. They show that they truly feel their music too
This is the quality of music I heard every Friday evening at concerts in Stuttgart, Germany, at the Stiftskirche.
it is the old and famous "Stunde der Kirchenmusik" !!
Let my love be heard
Angels where you soar
Up to God′s own light
Take my own lost bird
On your hearts tonight
And as grief once more
Mounts to heaven and sings
Let my love be heard
Thank you. ❤
A true blessing to anyone who needs to listen to this.

La emoción que me produce escuchar esto, no por 1ra vez, ni 2da, me hace llorar y trasladarme a otro espacio-tiempo, gracias, gracias, gracias
Shoot I was at this performance. It was amazing.
This group reaches right into my being (can't find the words)
Belíssimo!!!
The road home
Tell me, where is the road
I can call my own
That I left, that I lost
So long ago?
All these years I have wandered
Oh, when will I know
There's a way, there's a road
That will lead me home
Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo
Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo
After wind, after rain
When the dark is done
As I wake from a dream
In the gold of day
Through the air there's a calling
From far away
There's a voice I can hear
That will lead me home
Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo
Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo
Rise up, follow me
Come away, is the call
With the love in your heart
As the only song
There is no such beauty
As where you belong
Rise up, follow me
I will lead you home
Close harmony/dissonance doesn't get much better than this.
Breathtaking performance!

This concert brings me to tears it's so beautiful-and right before the pandemic.

Please find me a public that do not start coughing immediately...
So beautiful made me cry tiny soft salty pillows
I appreciate everything your group sings, absolute perfection. Thank you for giving us this beauty. ❤
The Lady in the purple dress makes my heart go BOOM !i :-) XX !!
Two of my very favourite songs performed by them combined into one piece - awesome! So beautiful as always
The depth, the richness!
Top quality, so great, my favourite vocal ensemble still. Thank you.
I’ve watched a lot of Voces8 videos but somehow this made an impression…. Not perfect sound , but hearing them as we might really enjoy a concert…. Vs the studio productions

Coming across this....beautiful
Beautiful! I thought one of the tenors (red tie) was only singing “ooo” but there wasn’t any part singing “ooo” when there were words and realized he was trying to sing with “tall vowels”
I can almost jump off to the third Heaven from that fantastic top note in the Road home!! Love it...many thanks!

Fantastic. Thanks for sharing this.
Sublime!
Wonderful
When, tell me, when will it be possible to sing together again? I am longing for this moment.
I can't imagine how rge virus should go away. So times never will be as before?
But this is from January 21 ????
......likewise
Beautiful
💙💛
Awesome performance as usual for V8. What's up with the obnoxious audience noises throughout?
Beautiful performance, Voces8 is a British national treasure. I have to say, the camera work and video direction on this one is terrible though.
My mom always had mints or small hard candy when we sat in the pews during sermon
Kelly, the one in blue..really likes you.. I don't lnow if you caught that or not...she sent me the video of you eating the cup of yogurt and her smiling on the side..you are loved and appreciated ...you are quite a character...
This from January 2021 ???? No distancing, no masks, a lot cauphing?
Uploaded, yes. Recorded on Feb. 19, 2020 it seems according to description.
Are they singing in front of the Asthmatic Society or something?
Seriously. You coughing people need to stay home. This performance is being recorded.

@@staffanolofsson8201 I didn't ask for advice condescending Staffan. I was making a light hearted comment which you clearly lack the wit to recognise.
@@clementine6760 No, I understand your joke. Sorry to have offended you!
Can the audience shut up coughing and sniffing please!!! Do they not know this is being recorded? 🤧🤐😴🙄
They have lots of studio albums... no coughing. They know it's a risk. That's why it's called "live".
oh those couphers .... they destroy so much ...

@@mosart7025 sorry ... my fault .... just a classic typo ....
Who the fuck would find the need to cough right then and there!??
The coughing did detract.
I concur
