    why mount the OSB board from bottom to top, left to right? Why not mount them in 8 ft tall strips and 4 ft wide? or 8 ft tall and 2 ft wide?

    1- What are doing for ventilation?
    2- How does this type of insulation perform in summer when it's hot outside?

    Very helpful video, thank you for posting this. I have a couple of questions, if you don't mind:
    Is it better to fit the OSB panels horizontally, rather than vertically? And if so, why?
    I noticed that the edges of many of the panels you fitted didn't fall exactly on a wooden stud. Did you leave it like this, or find some way of securing the edge? I was just wondering, if the OSB warped very slightly from moisture, would your edge not possibly warp up/away from the external wall, or down/towards the external wall?
    (I'm not being critical, just trying to figure out the best way before I clad my small workshop!)

    • @Dutchshedwoodshop
      @Dutchshedwoodshop  3 года назад +1

      Hi david thank you! I chose for horizontal but you also can go for vertical. This was easier for me. It is better to end on a stud indeed. But i'm not afraid this will go wrong. Now after one and a half year it's still fine 👌.
      Thanks for watching!

    • @Dutchshedwoodshop
      @Dutchshedwoodshop  4 года назад

      Thanks for watching. I used glasswol on the walls. The reason why i did not insulate tge internal roof is because of condence. I thought it would be better to let the aera breathe instead of filling it up with insulation. Theworkshop stays warm enough. even without the roof insulation.
