    Many different designs for each type of project are also included. For example, there are hundreds of designs ruclips.net/user/postUgkxb2mhCug-GkCWrq69Ce2I0nM0D4QpxAqu for outdoor buildings, from small sheds all the way up to a complete stable. Choose whatever type of shed or storage house is right for you. Pick from fancy ones or more utilitarian designs.

Proost .
    Thank you. very good I like it. One more ideas = At the end when you swing your camera around it is just a closeup look of barren wall only but instead if you focus showing the structure and modified vision it will be worth it. Cheers 🙌

    Great vid, I'm learning a lot from it especially how to do this with only two hands at your disposal. I don't get why you design the slope of the roof though, such that you have to cut the rafters right down to about 3cm of wood at one side - and the roof does appear to already sag when you are up there working on it. I guess it'll do for the span, so long as you don't get a ton of snow sitting on it.

    Nice video Sir, I enjoyed it very much. An enormous amount of personal satisfaction in doing projects like this. I do have 1 comment though. Are you not worried about having your equipment stolen, I mean the hinges and hinge pins are on the outside of the entry door. If your yard/garden is secure then its a wrap. If not -- it be gone in one nite. Just an observation. Thanks for sharing :)

    Hoe heb je de balklaag van het dak berekend, met de sneeuwdruk erop, ik vind het aan de krappe kant, als ik het zo bekijk! Maar dat is mijn mening, bij mij moest ik aan de woningbouw de berekening aantonen dat het dak ruim voldoende het aan kan!

    • @Dutchshedwoodshop
      @Dutchshedwoodshop  4 года назад +1

      Dat heb ik niet. Achteraf hebben we de balken nog wel verdubbeld. Voor extra sterkte. Het dak is nu zo sterk dat er geen enkele beweging meer in zit wanneer je er op staat. Ik ben dan ook niet zo bang voor de sneeuw. Ons fietsen schuurtje heeft een balklaag van 44x69mm met golfplaten. Deze heeft al sneeuw van 25cm gedragen. Zakte wel iets in. Het dak van mijn nieuwe schuur heft nu een balklaag van 95x95mm met de dakplaten die met elkaar in verbinding staan. Dit geeft voldoende stevigheid. Bedankt voor het kijken!

    Hello mate, I'm wanting to build a 20ft x 25ft shed/room at the back of the garden! Would u recommend this type of base or make a wooden framed base sitting on top of concrete blocks??? Thanks

    • @Dutchshedwoodshop
      @Dutchshedwoodshop  4 года назад +1

      In your case i would go for the concrete blocks. because your shed will be about twice the size of mine my concrete blocks have the size of 8x20x100cm in your case i would sugest at least 12x25cm. Thanks for watching

      @Oscar-te6xu 4 года назад +1

      @@Dutchshedwoodshop - ok cool, so concrete blocks spread across certain points across the floor and then the wood structure/frame built across it spanning the entire length, then plywood across it and build on top with the walls right??

    • @Dutchshedwoodshop
      @Dutchshedwoodshop  4 года назад +1

      @@Oscar-te6xu yes. If i could do it again i probably would do it that way myself. Because of the cold and moisture from the ground

  • @rudra7615

    So you dug the borders and planted stone/bricks as the barrier. Since these are just dug into the soil, wouldn't it sink in time due to weight? The entire shed would tilt or wouldn't be level in time? No?

    Straight bonded boards on the roof that’s a big no no, should have been half bonded gives extra rigidity

    Great job, really enjoyed watching the video. It is always joyful to see someone who really knows what he/she is doing.
    Two questions though:
    1. How come you did not put windows for more natural lighting? I know one of the doors had a window in it but you can never get enough light.
    2. Don't you use work gloves?
    Thanks once again.

    Wat voor folie heb je gebruikt? En waarom heb je dit aan de buitenzijde gebruikt en niet binnen de isolatie?

    • @Dutchshedwoodshop
      @Dutchshedwoodshop  4 года назад

      Ik heb miofol 125g folie gebruikt. Deze is bedoeld voor de buitenzijde. Dampdoorlatend naar de buitenkant. Maar dampdicht naar binnen.

    • @Timovd
      @Timovd 4 года назад +1

      @@Dutchshedwoodshop Ik zou verwachten dat je buitenmuur-isolatie-folie moet aanbrengen. Net als op deze video: ruclips.net/video/6zUynXyIrHs/видео.html

    • @Dutchshedwoodshop
      @Dutchshedwoodshop  4 года назад

      @@Timovd klopt dut is de variant voor de binnenzijde. Ik heb alleen voor de buitenzijde gekozen zodat het ventileert en mijn isolatie niet nat wordt wanneer water door het hout zou lekken bijvoorbeeld. In het voorbeeld filmpje zie je een woning. Die heeft een spouw. De binnenste stenen worden in principe nooit vochtig. Maar daarom moet je juist aan de binnenzijde folie plaatsen. Zodat condens niet in je isolatie trekt. Dat is net een spons wat dat betreft.

    I smell a rat. The shed has no windows and a full door. There seems to be another door on the rear of the shed with a window in it. Would anyone build a small shed with two doors in it, I don't think so. So, what is going on here, can anyone explain.

    • @Dutchshedwoodshop
      @Dutchshedwoodshop  3 года назад

      Very simple. I wanted my shed to be as functional as possible. As a workshop but also as garage for my motorcycle. All Walls for storage. The second door with the window in it is reclaimed from the old shed. That door goes to the parking lot where our car is parked. And a way to get out with my motorcycle aswell. Not everyone is the same, not everyone builds the same..
