- We are staying in Arizona for a couple of months and the place doesn't have enough room for our family to comfortably sleep. This box truck is giving us the extra bed room that is needed.

Welcome. We're semi drivers. Space is a luxury that needs to be planned out. Our space is like living in a normal size bathroom. Twin beds a dorm size refrigerator and 2 small cabinets. That's it. Had 2 years in Chandler, az on hazmat loads. Brutally hot 118 in summers all day and not much cooler at night. Small spaces can be mentally challenging. But our heavenly father has you and your family in his guidance already. Blessing 🙌

I think your saga of moving to the United State is going to be very interesting and, often, unexpected. Years later, when your children are grown and on their own, these videos will be something they can share with their kids. Enjoy the time with Alex's parents and brother.
I'm so enjoying watching this transition for you all, as our family is currently doing the same thing in a new state. It's comforting to know we're not the only family adjusting and making due, and that God is faithful to provide for the needs of His children. ❤

Its a great temporary solution. You can have a private area as needed and a coffee maker and even a counter burner for simple things. Maybe have a cooler or small dorm freezer. I wish it had more windows for more air flow. But it’s better then a tent. Maybe a place for the kids to do a study or schooling temporarily, during the day. A great solution for freeing up space and privacy in the home and truck.

That looks like a lot of fun. You do what you need to do.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet but you can get mosquito netting that may fit over the entire back area of the truck so you can keep the doors open and get a lot of fresh air before you go to sleep. If you're wondering what I'm trying to mention if you watch Adventure van man's channel Brian has something like what I'm suggesting. Nanas from Central Florida growing in buckets

Ha ha, now you're vanlifers - sort of. So happy you all are now in the US! The truck/van is a great option for this time. Gives you all a little more breathing room.
Great that you have such great assets as good family and the truck to get settled. You now have the whole winter season where the weather will be great for you. Just make a plan to deal with the heat again starting around April.

Unfortunately now is not the best time to buy land, especially with interest rates going up too. Better get to Tennessee to start looking. IT's great that you got this temporary help with the box truck so you don't have to spend money. Hopefully no busybody neighbor will make trouble for you.

I’m glad to see you all over here now in the states and I know it’s a big change staying in the box truck for right now but honestly just look at it as an adventure and it won’t be bad at all and it’s just temporary anyway but once you get a few months under your belt,, then the next project will be to look for a farm Before you even know it

If the truck isn't already equipped with jacks to stabilize it, you might find it helpful to do some kind of blocks or jack-stands. Sleeping in a vehicle can sometimes make you motion sick because as you move, like rolling over in your sleep, the vehicle moves a little bit as well. Not to mention its nicer to be in something that is level.
It's a beginning! I wonder how you will travel around to the east coast. Are you going to get a vehicle and a 3rd wheel to tow behind? Every day will be an adventure now, getting acclimated and making a plan. Will love following your journey.
Nice! Looks like there is even space to put up a closet bar across the back wall. I love the curtains by the doors to give you a little privacy even when the doors are open! Smart! I really hope you all seriously consider Missouri for your next homestead. It's gorgeous & inexpensive.
A lot of their homesteading friends live in NC, so they would be closer to them in Tennessee.
You may need ventilation with the carpet out gassing. Otherwise it’s very nice.

Even though this is a nice nook for one person, I just can't see them all living in this. I hope that the folks in America can show this young family how warm you can all be and let this family live in something better. If I had a place I would put them up. I would. Canadians put up 9/11 folks that were flying for over a week, You guys can do this for this guy. The US is a huge place with alot of good folks.
As stated in video this is a temporary bedroom for the parents while I Phoenix.

Nah, it's adding an extra bedroom to the grandparents home. Kids will sleep in the house while they sleep in the box truck in the driveway. Now, they can save all their money while looking for their own home.

Why America?. All the actual nice places in the world, and you want America?
Because America is where their family is and they want to be with their family they haven't gotten to be with for years. And America is the greatest place on earth! America the Beautiful! 🇺🇸
Please get a job, you or your wife, and save enough for a proper home for yourself and your children. A truck is not an option for living in Arizona. YT money is not enough to get a good start here.
It is only TEMPORARY for just a little bit. Not permanent. They will only be sleeping in it at night. They will be getting a home of their own soon.
They are moving to the East Coast (Tenn I think) come the start of the New Year, so they should be fine sleeping in this box truck until then. They aren’t trying to make a home out of it. And I am sure Simeon and Alex would never not take care of their children, and will continue to take EXCELLENT care of each one of their kids. And as far as making a living goes where youtube is concerned, there are tons of people making a good living off of youtube. God loves you. Jesus loves you and died for you. God bless you always.
