Update from my last comment- I PASSED!!!! 4-1-2022 (First attempt at everything and passed with flying colors). Thank you so much Joe Baker for taking the time and making this video. I studied for a month straight, watched this video and a few others on backing maneuvers. It also helped that I had a very nice examiner. You definitely want to make sure you say exactly what Joe says (Securely mounted, not cracked bent or broken, no frayed or loose wires, and no abrasions bulges or cuts etc). Remember, even though it may seem easier said than done, remain calm and speak clearly, point and touch the item you are explaining, take some deep breath’s and you will be just fine 👍🏻😊
@@amandagallagher2819 I'm taking mine hopefully in a couple weeks, really hoping this helps, also taking a class for driving and pretrip but also using this for an at home reference
This is an update, sir, I don't know if you'll see this or reply back but I did everything in this video, and I am very happy to say I passed my road test today and now have my CDL class b with airbrake. So thank you very much for this video your the man 😎🥳
The examiner told my boss who was also there with me that I nailed the pretrip and my trainer did a great job... well, Joe Baker from Capitol Region Water... thanks for the great training.

Watched this video for 2 days over and over and took my class B license test today and passed with perfect score!!! The air brake test was on point great video thanks for your time to make this video my family thanks you
In NJ i took my class B test 7-16-18 and the inspector said i would've passed but didnt physically touch everything in the engine that i said so he failed me. I asked the guy doing mine if he wanted me to touch everything or just point. He said pointing was fine. He also said i did not have to get under the truck but if I didn’t point at the proper location even if I named it right he would ding me. So my advice is ask what there expectations are.

Hey I just wanted to say thanks for making this video. I passed my CDL test today with flying colors. The dmv testers don’t make you do the whole inspection especially when you start as detailed as this video. I was told to stop and get in the truck. Good luck to everybody who’s working towards there license, this video certainly helped.
Thank you joe baker, because of this video and the knowledge it contains I PASSED MY DRIVING TEST ON THE 1st try. If you are trying to get your CDL please pay attention to this video. Thanks again joe all the way from Dallas Texas
Passed my CDL B with airbrake and manual transmission yesterday . Was a lot easier than I thought, but I also had a really nice and friendly examiner. That makes all the difference
@@Mjk86 well. The biggest thing that people fail on is the air brake test. So make sure you got that system down pat. Turn key off and back on, fan down to low warning indicator, then continue until Parking brake pops out, restart and idle up to build air pressure until governor cutoff. Do the tug test (parking brake test) then service brake test. Also during the manuverability test, make sure to use all you looks especially during the alley dock backing. Usually you get two looks. If you aren't in the box you fail that part. I took mine in Arkansas. It is different state to state

Thanks alot just passed my inspection and brake test. Remember seat belt horns fuses triangles and fire extinguisher. One thing inspector wanted to know oil gauge usually at around 20-40
This is very helpful, the Cdl truck rental training services down here are making a killing to show people the pretrip and let them use their truck for their driving test
clearence lights are the 3 lights in a row in the middle of the truck to show it is over 90 inches wide... marker lights mark the corners and edges. other than that, solid pretrip.
Did the test exactly like the video and failed at the DMV in Gardena CA. Instructor failed me because when doing the applied leakage test my air pressure wasn’t fully charged. Which was bull because you don’t lose air when doing the static test. Already rescheduled, good luck out there.

Just passed my cdl test! All I’d was just point at things saying “not cracked bent or broken” and got a easy 100😅😂 great video, highly recommend for last minute review before a test
Passed my nys class B road test today thanks to this video!!!!
He should have been a doctor. “Mam, your femur is not cracked, bent, or broken.”
This video was definitely helpful just passed my pre trip test thanks to this video
Found this video last night and passed my test in Ohio this morning. I wish I would have had it on my first attempt but that’s ok. Thank you so much for this video. The only thing Cracked, bent or broken is this monkey that’s been on my back up till this morning
Unsupervised pre-trip:
Lights working? Yes
Flat Tires? No
Let’s roll
Lmao
100
Real talk
😂😂why I'm here
😂😂😂😂
The steps are clear of debris!😁 and the mirrors are clean !
Thank you for performing this pre-trip inspection it helps out a lot
Thanks alot just passed my inspection and brake test. Remember seat belt horns fuses triangles and fire extinguisher. One thing inspector wanted to know oil gauge usually at around 20-40
This is very helpful, the Cdl truck rental training services down here are making a killing to show people the pretrip and let them use their truck for their driving test
clearence lights are the 3 lights in a row in the middle of the truck to show it is over 90 inches wide... marker lights mark the corners and edges. other than that, solid pretrip.
Thank you for the video , I pass my test on the first Attempt Georgia .
Took my skills test today. Aced it thank you.
Did the test exactly like the video and failed at the DMV in Gardena CA. Instructor failed me because when doing the applied leakage test my air pressure wasn’t fully charged. Which was bull because you don’t lose air when doing the static test. Already rescheduled, good luck out there.
