watching tapes and discs on how to skate (a couple that featured Mike V showing u how to do "beginner" tricks up to more advanced ones)..
on some level, Mike taught me to skate the way I do and to this day my friends always credit me to be "one of the best skaters in our group" even though I cant do most the tricks they do-
I just skate so much differently than they do.

This is my favorite Nine Club video. I've always loved Mike Vallely's aggressive skateboard style and everything that he has brought to skateboarding. He has always stuck with being original and not changing to conform to what is accepted. After watching this video and hearing more of his story I have even more respect for him. Keep skating the way that you always have and never change Mike.

I watched this over a few days in my work breaks. I was gonna say what an interview but it really wasn't an interview and more like an episode of This Is Your Life but Mike V hosted himself. Man he has some great stories. Mike has always been an inspiration and legend in my book, thanks for the 5 hours of pure gold.

The funny thing is, I used to pronounce his name correctly when I was little but skate shop owners kept "correcting" me. I had one of his 9+ width elephant boards in the early 2000's. great episode guys, much love

Man. Mike V. was one of my earliest idols starting with Public Domain. I had the shaved head, army cargos, elephant tee, and multiple double-tail decks! This episode was epic. This dude is a serious storyteller and 100% skate through and through. Kudos to the Nine Club for making this happen and being patient enough to let Mike download his life for us all to watch!

    Damn, 5 hours...felt like an hour :O
Up until now, the first thing it would come to my mind on hearing Mike V name was old school tricks and beating the shit out of fools but now it will have so much more meaning. Amazing podcast.
    *Edit*
I would love to have a session with him!

It's Mike talking about himself, I'm honestly shocked it was only 5 hours.
