I remember the first time you lads ever heard The Prodigy! I'm glad to see you have recovered! Love Spencer's throwback comments! 😁 One love from Scotland. 💙
I was lucky enough to go to every Reading music festival from 97-2012 got to see Prodigy quite a few times. One year I remember watching them and the main stage camera panned behind them to show every headline band like the Foo Fighters from that day rocking out backstage. One of the best live experiences ever, I feel blessed to have seen them.
The Prodigy are totally unique... Their music is used in so many movies to give the action scenes an extra sense of excitement and focus... There's always going to be movie makers that will eagerly tap into the power an excitement of the music produced by The Prodigy.
1:30 Spencer shouting "Change my picture... ". Haha, don't worry you're certainly not alone in that. Just love the energy. ❤ It's actually "Change my pitch up... ", originally not sung but rather sampled lyrics from Kool Keith of Ultramagnetic MC's, from the track, Give the Drummer Some. "Switch up, change my pitch up, smack my b up... like a pimp."
I was there, we had been there all day and seen some great support acts, and it was a boiling hot day - so we’d had plenty to drink etc by the time they came on. Best live gig I had ever ever been to. Was lucky enough to meet Keith at work a few weeks later and got to thank him for an awesome day. RIP.
The very next tune they played in this gig was.... TAKE ME TOO THE HOSPITAL... its even harder and better than Smack My B Up.. More of THE PRODIGY plzzz lads. 2 gigs especially. Milton Keynes bowl which we just watched ( OR ) PHONIX LOVE FESTIVAL 1996. with all 4 original band members on stage.. 🐜🐜 WE LIVE 4EVER 🐜🐜 🇮🇪 R.I.P FLINTY 🇮🇪
I was a few months shy of my 18th birthday when this happened. I can still remember the heartbreak of knowing most of my mates would be going while I'd be at home twiddling my fingers 😂
@@markjones127 The band knew the tune was gonna be banned from radio etc. so they made the video knowing it would be banned also. ETS also watched it back when they 1st heard of the prodigy but obviously couldn't show it....
What gets looked over is that they have to recruit some absolutely amazing musicians and techies to get this sound. The guitarist and drummer especially. Liam Howlett is a god but to deliver the sound their band is next level.
Guys, you HAVE to react to the the non official 'cat' video to this tune. It's AMAZING, The whole video is from the point of view of a cat, you can thank me later!!
This is the most excited anyone has ever been for Milton Keynes.
Haha.
The place with bloody roundabouts lol
I have never seen Spencer so animated, it was a joy to watch ;)

You guys need to watch the official music video 👌
Bollocks.. They need to be watching the lads live on stage.
@@brendanmaguire4134 Agreed, but I think he's just alluding to how amazing the video for this specific track is, it is a masterpiece of it's time.

@@brendanmaguire4134 I know the bands history, big fan and it was my era, glad the guys have seen it though.
Yeah but there's only highly censored shit on YT, it's somewhat difficult to find the actual video.

I was at this, it was my 1st ever live gig ❤️
Poor Keith 😢 Soundtrack to so many messy weekends.
Haven't enjoyed myself in such a long time! Your reaction made me jump off the couch!
Man,I miss the dancing days! 🙄
I was there right near the front. Lived a half hour from MK, seen them live 4 times that summer
The official video has a great twist.
I was there that day, a truly unforgettable day, seen them 8 times before and will be number 9 at Brixton academy in December, can’t fucking wait!

I always imagine The Prodigy are what Nine Inch Nails would've sounded like if Trent Reznor had discovered ecstasy.
more The Prodigy
Please react to Prodigy Omen..at Milton Keynes 2010
🤘
As great as the live version is, RUclips has a remix you can search for where they sample in Enya's sail away. Check that out
Do not play when driving!
