Me an my girlfriend arrived in Luxembourg three months ago, because she was offered a job here.
I must say we were very excited, but Luxembourg managed to impress us beyond our expectations! It is much more beautiful than it seemed online. Properties are very, very, very expensive and so is eating outside, but groceries, clothes, etc. seem to be quite affordable. Yes, we are studying French, and if you want to be competitive when it comes to finding a job here and staying long term - you shouldn't rely solely on English. Check out the video for more info! I hope you like it!
Right after he said fresh, Belgian waffles I started packing..
Live in Lux since last July from US. We've done a lot of exploring if you ever feel the need to get out. So much to see and do in the small country, plus so easy to go everywhere else
how did you got out usa
Keep on promoting yourself!! Your maps look great!! My husband and I are moving to Luxembourg in January from the UK. I will purchase one of your maps as a gift for him! best of luck to you! Your video was very informative and a good watch!!
Hi @Naomi O'Neil can you advice how I can go about the process to move to Lux ,on job basis. Thanks.
hi good day. How was your move? Am looking to move by later this year myself.
I hate this mode of speaking. What are you, a romantic comedy movie?
He has crammed so much into his video...very efficient and concise...
A refreshing change from net procrastination...cheers David
How did you found a Studio in Belair for 1000euros that's very cheap! Was it unfurnished?? ;)
Luxembourg is not for everyone - many people don't want to live in a clean, safe, wealthy and beautiful country.
Looks absolutely amazing there, thanks for your info
Do u see Asian or witness might be friends or you interact to in Luxembourg? Thank You, I'm from Indonesia
Are you a rapper? Sounds like I'm listening to music.
Hello, interesting to see how a new person who arrive in Luxembourg is making his way during COVID's time. One recommendation, avoid Alima at all cost xD. By price from the cheapest to the most expensive 1. Aldi, 2. Lidl, 3. Colruyt, 4. Delhaize, 5. Auchan, 6. Cactus, 7. Monoprix and finally the most expensive 8. Alima. The quality of Aldi is not the best one, but Lidl believe me is pretty good quality in Luxembourg, don't hesitate at all. From my perspective is fine to sell and promote your own products, nothing to be ashamed, I had seen many youtubers which are selling and promoting so much stuff and clearly you need to earn some money in order to live. I am Venezuelan living in Luxembourg since 9 years ago, before I lived in Dublin for 3 months.
Hello could you please tell me whether I can find affordable collective students dorms ?
@@wanderlustwernweh5313 hello, sorry but I don't know any student dorm
Thanks again.
This is 2024, and this video is scary 😂😂
It looks and sounds great. I've never been to Luxembourg. About the same prices as Waitrose? Oh help! This is the second of your videos I've watched. The first being Glasgow. I like your style of presenting. Cheers.
Is there any working visa?
Please make a video about Edinburgh... 🙏🏽
Hi David! I've seen your video and really like it. I wanted to know how did you do to get your studio, i'm moving to Lux next month with my family and would be really greatfull to get the contact/s of the agency that you've usted and the requirements if it's possible. Thanks! Ignacio
Hey Ignacio! We used Immo Premiere. Try to contact Mr Senad. He was great and very reliable. Usually the commission of the agency is one month's worth of rent and 17% VAT. In the beginning we were trying to find something on Facebook but after a few arrangements failed in the last minute we decided to pay more and have piece of mind. I hope that helps! You also need to act quickly, sometimes one day or even an afternoon can make a difference in terms of whether or not you'd get the place.
@@davidnikolov_ thanks a lot! Wish you the best luck! Ignacio
Hi dear friend. Thanks
Excellent story
This video made me a bit less nervous for moving to Luxemburg in March 😅
I'm still waiting for the plot twist XD
Can I smoke weed anywhere..?

It was worth the effort❤️
Hello David
Nice video.
I got an offer to Lux, 2300 plus 200 in meal vouchers. If I rent a room, is it enough to live a comfortable life and save money?
Liked the video good work , be original that's what works best .
Say slowly sir
You're so cute 😘
Hi dear friend how are you. Thanks
Awesome videos!!! Much respect
Share a detailed info of climate . People who come from India need to know more
How much money 💵 will I need for 3 or 4 days visit?
Nice meeting you here David. Wow!!!
I really liked your views and videos with that wonderful experience you are sharing with the world.
I would like to know more about bringing in children to study, maybe also looking for jobs. Nice time
the way you are speaking and how you are putting words together is smart funny

I can agree with you about Luxembourg is nice place but,
to me Dublin City Centre in Ireland is the best country to leave and safe place to.
Is it all 1000 euros ? Omg that's horrendeous Is it all the same ?
Great story! Enjoyed it very much, please do more about situations in your life in Lux!
Hello! I'm watching your video to prepare for my trip to Luxembourg in 2 weeks where I'll be staying there for half a year. I found myself nodding my head when you mentioned about searching for a place for 2 months only to go with a studio that costs 1000 euros, and paying the same 1000 euros to an agency. That's exactly what happened to me. I think my neighbourhood isn't going to look as good as yours (my studio will be in Esch, which is close to where I'll be working). But hey, it was the cheapest I could find. Nevertheless I'm pretty excited to be heading there soon.
Your so underrated can't belive how little subs you have
Good Job mate.🤝🏾
Zadok from London
Love your in put and greatness to all of us, love from Thailand :)
where are u from?...
Thank you for the video. Do I need to take any language test to work in Luxembourg? Do you know if I need authorisation for public jobs? Do I need to go through a recruitment agency or I can apply for jobs on my own.?
If you need to take a language test, I wonder which one, as both French and German are official languages in Luxembourg, together with Luxembourgish which is the national language (a Germanic idiom, with a parenthood to German but with some French downloads).
Hi i hope you notice me
Have you been in Germany?
Nice work David 👏.... keep it 💯
Awesome information
Amazing video - gives the insight of real life in Luxembourg - keep posting brother we want more contents as this
Come to Castries!
we need a clip of you on that ship
Hi dear friend also good
good very fun
You are super handsome
quality content.loved the video dude.
Loved it!
Thanks for this 😊
Hey, I'm a young Belgian and 6 months ago I started working in Luxembourg as well (just next to the ship playground you mentionned !). It would be nice to meet up sometimes and talk about the life here (I could teach you some french)
Great! Message me on Instagram if you have an acc there
Hoi ik spreek Nederlands en klein beetje Duits maar mijn Frans is heel slecht .
But i speak english ofcourse 😁.
Mijn vraag is kan ik daar ook aan de slag ? Ik woon en werk nu in Genk .
Graag als je mij met wat info kunt helpen. Alvast bedankt
Instead of teaching others french, why don’t you invest that time to learn luxembourgish (if you’re not speaking it). Please stop the francization of our country. We hate it when francophones impose french upon us. And no, french is not the national language, it is only one of 3 administrative languages.
@@davidnikolov_ can you please make a video on how can we go for the immigration process of luxembourg being a skilled worker?
