I just swapped in a HP30 and I am running Into clearance issues with the driver side upper control arm.. it’s hitting the top of the pig at the mount.. I have no upper Movement , droop is fine….just in case you reside to make one for this set up you may want to look into this issue
@@core4x4fabwe finally got to drive our XJ yesterday an today after finishing the long arm crawl kit and it’s amazing my lady couldn’t stop complementing it as we drove it on some gravel back roads it was so smooth and comfortable an safe feeling! Do y’all think you’ll release a long arm kit for the rear?
Thanks for the XJ content. I have your short arms on my 97 with an IRO lift, Very interested in the long arms! Would love to see the difference in handling and ride quality.
@@core4x4fabhahaha it’s all good! I watched through the video a couple times looking before I commented promise. 😂 any hints to what I should set the control arms for a 5-5.5” lift? I’m using metal cloak coils for a tj that say 6”, so should be pretty close to 5” of lift on the Comanche.
@@falkenphil557 is going to be very close to the same measurements. You could go 1/4 inch longer top and bottom and be good. That would be where I would start.
Also the upper bolts for the control arms hit the frame frame with frame stiffeners seems like they need to do more research when building a kit instead of one kit hits all I guess you get what you pay for highly recommended iron rock off road if you gonna go long arms will save you some head aces
I have the old style rough country long arm kit with the non detachable crossmember. The location of the holes I already drilled look very similar to the ones in your video. Do you know off the top of your head if I can use the same holes if I purchase this kit?
Watching this video makes me want to customize my own Cherokee XJ for offroading. What an adrenaline rush!
It really is! Take this as your sign that you definitely should ;)
can't wait to see long arm kit for jeep grand Cherokee 5.2 v8 ZJ
They already have one. Just not much info on it except a few pics on their FB page.
After coming back and fourth to this video about 50 times during install, I just finished it up 😅
Great video, answered all of my questions and made my XJ long arm install Stress free!
I'm so glad to hear! Thank you for your support!
Ordered the long arm kit. Cant wait.

Just an update. It did fantastic ;)
Love these vids. Keep em coming... Any ZJ customers?
We do have ZJ customers
Do you guys have a installation video for the zj long arm kit. Looking on how to mount brackets to the unibody.
No we do not at the moment. We are working on some final adjustments on the actual product. It’s a video we definitely want to make.
You guys gave us some starting measurements for the control arm lengths but never mentioned from what I could find what height your lift is. 🤔
This is a 4.5-inch lift kit. Sorry about that!

@@core4x4fab thank you guys! I really appreciate it.
I hop you guys make the long arm kit for the jeep grand cherokee wj. Iam running your short arm kit now
No we do not at the moment. We are working on developing new long arm kits
Bought this kit for my Comanche and the fuel lines go right where the up control are mount are what do you recommend to do
Looks like this is a Tier 3 Long Arm Kit build with the Poly Bushings or is this a Tier 4 with JJ’s all around?
what front coils did you use love the lenght and build im redoin whole jeep and this is basicly what im gunna be doin now lol
We used Iron Rock 4" coils on the front, and they have been riding great! We're really happy with how this build turned out!
Hello from Sweden! Do you guys ship to Europe?
You make really good quality stuff.
Thanks for the video.
They ship all over the world!
Are the control arm measurements on this video for a 4inch lift? What measurements would you recommend for a 5inch lift?

Also almost have no room to put the bolt in on the upper control arm on the passenger side due to the exhaust being right in the way
What a whiner. 🤣🤣 first time working on a rig huh?
I am no mechanic the upper control arms greese fitting is postion on top. How to add greese when needs service?
What is the measurements for a 6 inches lift?
for 3.5 lift do you recommend short arm or long arm?
Can you weld the mounts on instead of bolting them
Yes, you can, there is plenty of room to weld the kit if you prefer that.

Anyone know what size the jam nuts are?
The lowers are 1-5/8, and the uppers are 1-1/2.
