Measured toe with the axle drooped 🤣🤣🤣
I will say ive got to give Teraflex credit in their instructions as they said to loosen all control arm bolts when installing the lift. I did install a full set of Core 4x4 control arms on my JT eventually and man what a difference in ride!! Love your products. Also have the front and rear track bars
Great video, thank brother.....
I have the Tier 1 arms for my WJ. They did not come with zerks. Do you have replaceable joints preferably the Johnny joints with the greaseable bolts that I can install in my arms?
Dude these are great tips for getting everything in place. I always struggle with this stuff haha
I don’t have any of this but watching this video makes me confident I can when I have to
Wish Gabby was still around...😍😍
You know I bought this long arm kit. I just wish I’d get the hardware kit for it after a month.
Nice equipment, but honestly, you need proper training. Alignment starts with adjusting the thrust angle first, ensuring the rear axle is squared to the vehicle’s centerline. Skipping this step or doing it out of order lengthens the process because you’ll have to backtrack to fix changes that occur to angles affected downstream-like how an incorrect thrust angle will alter your steer-ahead alignment later. Once the thrust angle is set, you move to the front, setting camber and caster before touching toe. Toe adjustments must be made with the steering at zero steer ahead, aligned to the thrust line. Only after this step do you center the steering wheel, and that’s achieved by fine-tuning the drag link. Skipping or misordering these steps compromises the alignment and wastes time correcting earlier mistakes.
Those are rear upper and lower TRAILING arms... Control arms mount east to west, trailing arms are north to south.
Rusty jeeps are the best jeeps.
Finally ordered mine along with the rear uppers and panhard .... Hope I ordered the correct length though ... I spoke to Valerie on the phone and she told me to email support ....
What? So did we order the correct ones?
I am happy with my core control arms
Great kit! Would love this for my 07. One question, it uses transmission crossmember mounts so can you get your transmission out without disassembling your suspension?
I just received my order of upper control arms from Core 4×4. I encourage all to check them out. They offer three levels of stoutness vs. Streetibilty, and they have a whole pallet of colors that you can choose from. And I should not forget that their prices are incredibly reasonable.
What size wrench should I get for the nut next to the Johnny joint
What size tires are you running on that XJ?
Good morning. Can this modification be done with the stock steering???
Does the lifetime warranty cover the bushings?
Unfortunately, they're not. Our lifetime warranty only covers non-wearable parts. If you'd like to look into our warranty in further detail you can find it posted on our website at core4x4.com/warranty/
Need a good alignment shop in my area
After coming back and fourth to this video about 50 times during install, I just finished it up 😅
Aren't you supposed to torque down at ride height level? Also, does the bushing end connect to the frame or axle end?
I put this on a 300k mile xj with mega sloppy steering and it surprisingly 'cured' about 50% of the slop. It was a night and day difference. New ball joints and tie rod ends are next up.
Driveshaft spacer to make up for the distance the axle is moved forwards?
Lachy plz like my comment I’m subscribed
Lachy plz like my comment I’m subsribed
How rough is it to daily drive on a crawl series lift for an xj? Really love the content and I plan to eventually buy a lift kit later on, I’m just a lil stuck between the camp and crawl series lift.
Great Job! Enjoyed it.
Ordered the long arm kit. Cant wait.
@@bryanoverton4675 thank you so much for the support!
for 3.5 lift do you recommend short arm or long arm?
What is the measurements for a 6 inches lift?
I ll have to try them out next
It's a very nice piece of kit there,
Thank you! We definitely love it.
I noticed the jeep wk doesnt have front control arms and just the rear. Does not have the same issue since its not a same front end design? What do you all recommend as far as the front if you do the back with the crawler set up on 2005 wk. Currently running old man emu springs bilstein 5100 and jba uca 255 75 17. Thanks
Need this for my 2019 ram 1500 has a 5” Fabtech radius arm lift kit. Needs a new track bar it moves slightly and clunks.
Great break down no fluff Thanks!
Great video and looks good install, i will be doing a gear change in my 2017 Ram 1500 Bighorn crew cab, 3.21 to 3.55 with tru trac and would like to know whould my rearend benifit from your control arms.....
Absolutely! I have a 2018 Ram 1500 and adding the rear control arms helped it a lot especially on washboard roads .... I'm about to add the panhard and rear upper control arms and the front upper control arms as well. I will have the complete set that core 4x4 offers for our trucks, get them, you won't be disappointed!
Do you know if it fits a 2014 Jeep Patriot? Thanks!
Great content would love to see more on how it performs and information on tire clearances.
Will these link brackets work with frame stiffeners? More worried about the rear since it sandwiches the frame rail
Do you set the Adjustable track bar Length at full droop or half droop or when the trucks on the ground?
Do you have a 4-link conversion for the 4.5-5 gen Rams in development? I want near zero lift WITH 4-links and a design similar to this would allow that (ie reuse stock radius arm location).
@gizzmo2875 nothing in the works currently. We do have our new radius arms for these trucks, though.
Скольки стоит комплект ваших рычагов?
Hello - great video! I purchased the full kit (cruise) what about the rear pinion angle? what are the optimal settings ? thanks!
That might be the best made vehicle you will ever work on built to last hundred of thousands of miles unlike the jeeps thousands then get a new one
im building a truck with a 12k front axle. is there a johnny joint that is heavy enough for this? going to be a parallel 4 link air ride straight steer axle
Nice stuff!!!!
Where is Core 4x4 located?
@@stevegarcia8376 we are located in Orem Utah
4:12 Throw those straps away and drill it out and put u-bolts in instead, way better. ** Personal opinion and there's videos about it as well.
Will the transmission crossmember come out without pulling the long arm brackets off ?
@JustinSchooler-f2j Yes, that's a great benefit to this kit. You can still remove the crossmember without taking your frame brackets off.
@@core4x4fab Thanks for the reply, will be ordering one soon
