2022 Bronco 3.5 Inch Lift Kit Install
Does this kit clear Doug thorley headers on a 98 5.9 zj?
Great vids! I didn’t see much on alignments. Did you guys take it to a shop or do it yourselves?
Instructions would be greatly helpful rather than just a video.
I own two wj’s ones long armed and one 2.5 budget boost. The wj with the 2.5 had horrible death wobble. Swapped in Core 4x4 cruise series upper adjustable arms two inches longer then stock. Problem solved.
Man she’s gorgeous 👀👀
Why not just nut-sert the complete install? Seems like a much better option.
I use aluminum flat stock clamped to the axle tube it pulls the heat out of the axle 😊
@theviper6602 that's an awesome idea, I like it
@core4x4fab welder for 20 years I've learned the hard way couple of times and ruined couple axles haha I have some ideas for xj would like to pick your mind and Maybe we can come up with some new products if you want my contact info let me know
Love the upgrade, would have loved to do this upgrade, but the frame on mine is all rusted. The mount on the frame side just fell off last week.
I haven’t buy the kit yet. But also been emailing to see if it comes with instructions and measurements, as much information they can give me before I buy it. But haven’t got any response yet. Even a massage on the full video to see if they going to do a full installation video.
@AlfredoFlores-of1pt Thank you for the comment! I will have someone reach out on Monday! Sorry about that. Right now, the instructions aren't quite complete. The video walks through it briefly, but we can also walk you through installation on the phone or via email.
I'm curious about the durability of this product.. And what is your recognition in the United States?
We love to go offroading here at Core, so our parts are made to be used and abused. We consider our parts to be incredibly durable, and we offer a lifetime warranty on all our non-wearable parts, so if you do manage to permanently bend or break something, we'll replace it. Some common materials we use are DOM tubing, 7075 aluminum, and cold-rolled steel, With more specifics listed on each product. We're a small manufacturing company based in Orem, Utah. We're a little lesser known, but we're working hard to grow and serve the community we love. You can check out our website at: core4x4.com/ And you can read more about our lifetime Warranty Here: core4x4.com/warranty/
Does the kit comes with instructions how to install
Are you guys planning to release a 4 link coil conversion for the back of the xj? I’ve seen a few companies with them but I love your kit and would love a rear matchup if y’all are gunna do one?
At 7:50, my grandfather said to take a strap and lightly match the bar, I'm a try it on my 1500 custom build.
Absolutely crucial for 4x4 and heavy towing. Heavy duty coils and or Heavy duty leaf springs are essential when loaded with gear! Core 4x4 works 💪
Could be used for long travel but not wanting to lift
I need to get bump stops for my xj😅
Nice job & great install!
Spence, thank you and your workers, Family for making quality parts that we can trust and depend on. My truck rides and handles better than it did stock with the full rear suspension upgrade from you guys, rear upper and lower control arms, panhard bar and sway bar end links. As soon as I get the chance I'll be installing the front adjustable upper control arms! To anyone who is looking to upgrade their Ram 1500s, don't hesitate, Core 4x4 is the way to go !
I got this and let me just say would of been nice for some kinda instruction or placement info. Also sent 2 different emails regarding my long arms when I was installing and never got any info back. But once you get it all figured out and dam near wanna quit on the jeep they feel decent definitely will be stitch welding the brackets on for more stability
Some front Cherokee shafts are shorter the 2000-2002 grands have for sure 1" longer front shafts.
If you cut the shaft while the jeep is running in gear on a lift you can get a more even cut.
I see no bronco here
You can check out the install here if you'd like to see more. ruclips.net/video/lqDLDZTAg8g/видео.htmlsi=bR850grL3ohLahxr
I put this four link longarm kit on my son's XJ it does phenomenal! I wish I could post a photo of the articulation.
@core4x4fab yall still need a zj to test on?
Measured toe with the axle drooped 🤣🤣🤣
I will say ive got to give Teraflex credit in their instructions as they said to loosen all control arm bolts when installing the lift. I did install a full set of Core 4x4 control arms on my JT eventually and man what a difference in ride!! Love your products. Also have the front and rear track bars
Great video, thank brother.....
I have the Tier 1 arms for my WJ. They did not come with zerks. Do you have replaceable joints preferably the Johnny joints with the greaseable bolts that I can install in my arms?
Dude these are great tips for getting everything in place. I always struggle with this stuff haha
I don’t have any of this but watching this video makes me confident I can when I have to
Wish Gabby was still around...😍😍
You know I bought this long arm kit. I just wish I’d get the hardware kit for it after a month.
Nice equipment, but honestly, you need proper training. Alignment starts with adjusting the thrust angle first, ensuring the rear axle is squared to the vehicle’s centerline. Skipping this step or doing it out of order lengthens the process because you’ll have to backtrack to fix changes that occur to angles affected downstream-like how an incorrect thrust angle will alter your steer-ahead alignment later. Once the thrust angle is set, you move to the front, setting camber and caster before touching toe. Toe adjustments must be made with the steering at zero steer ahead, aligned to the thrust line. Only after this step do you center the steering wheel, and that’s achieved by fine-tuning the drag link. Skipping or misordering these steps compromises the alignment and wastes time correcting earlier mistakes.
Those are rear upper and lower TRAILING arms... Control arms mount east to west, trailing arms are north to south.
Rusty jeeps are the best jeeps.
Finally ordered mine along with the rear uppers and panhard .... Hope I ordered the correct length though ... I spoke to Valerie on the phone and she told me to email support ....
What? So did we order the correct ones?
I am happy with my core control arms
Great kit! Would love this for my 07. One question, it uses transmission crossmember mounts so can you get your transmission out without disassembling your suspension?
I just received my order of upper control arms from Core 4×4. I encourage all to check them out. They offer three levels of stoutness vs. Streetibilty, and they have a whole pallet of colors that you can choose from. And I should not forget that their prices are incredibly reasonable.
What size wrench should I get for the nut next to the Johnny joint
What size tires are you running on that XJ?
Good morning. Can this modification be done with the stock steering???
Does the lifetime warranty cover the bushings?
Unfortunately, they're not. Our lifetime warranty only covers non-wearable parts. If you'd like to look into our warranty in further detail you can find it posted on our website at core4x4.com/warranty/
Need a good alignment shop in my area
After coming back and fourth to this video about 50 times during install, I just finished it up 😅
Aren't you supposed to torque down at ride height level? Also, does the bushing end connect to the frame or axle end?
I put this on a 300k mile xj with mega sloppy steering and it surprisingly 'cured' about 50% of the slop. It was a night and day difference. New ball joints and tie rod ends are next up.
Driveshaft spacer to make up for the distance the axle is moved forwards?
