I've been running the Crawl kit on my JT for almost 5 years. Though I did have issues with the bushings at first. Spence made sure that all was corrected and well. Ever since then, I haven't had any issues with my kit. Running a 6" lift with johnny joints on both ends and I LOVE IT. The most important thing to note, is that they do back up their product!
Glad Spence was able to help you out, he's good people. We stand by our products because we want everyone to know we are confident with their durability so you should be too!
The Johnny Joint is the OG of flex joints.John Currie(Johnny)Is The Man.💪👍👍
Cant thank him enough for Johnny Joints!
I bought some for my 04 Grand Cherokee and would recommend this product to anyone they forgot to send me the spacers I emailed them and they shipped out the did forget the grease fittings but I guess I’ll chalk it as a loss other than that I’ll definitely be buying more solid parts 10 out of 10 stars if I were to rate it
You went and changed everything. I was tossed between tier 2 and 3 then was going to order a set of tier 3 lower front for my JK....now I got to look again! Lol!
Haha, sorry about that. Hope you're not too confused. if you were looking at tier 3 than that would translate to our Camp series now. Hope that helps ;)
Got my crawl series installed amd love the ride. Hope to get some time to get on the trails soon. Build quality is top notch and they look great.
Thank you for reaching out to us! We love hearing how happy customers are after their installs & can see the difference in ride quality. 👍 We hope you hit the trails soon too!
Great idea on the rebranding makes it a lot easier for people who aren’t super knowledgeable to figure out what they need. Can’t wait to get the long arm Crawl series for our XJ’s! Prob gunna get the same kit for our kids KJ which is on 37’s an getting a solid axle d44 swap soon
That was the goal! We have had so many customers ask due to the confusion of the tiered system. When we had the chance to simplify our product line, we took the oppurtunity!
I have a Tier 1 set for my Tj (all 4) to go in. What is the efficient way of installing the arms? Adjustment at the axle end or the frame end?
I'm thinking frame so as to minimize terrain contact of the lock nut.
I have a 1998 Jeep wrangler tj SE so I have the 2.5 liter. It going to be on the road most of the time with the occasional
riding on trails and overlanding. I'm torn between the tier 1 or tier 2 for the extra durability for highway and trail/overlanding.
Spence, you forgot to mention that you use genuine Currie johnny joints not chinese knockoffs👍
Only the best quality with Core 4x4!
Glad to see you guys advertising more and getting your product out there … I’m in Michigan and have ran your products in the past … good solid quality product… do you offer and long arm kits for ZJ’s ?
Thanks for supporting us in what we do here :)
We do offer ZJ long arm kits if that is something you're still interested in :)
Me and my wife are running your tire 1 short arm kits on are wj and we really love them .but iam waight on you guys to make a long arm kit for the 99/04 jeep grand cherokee wj.
Yes! We are always expanding our product line
Just ordered some lower front control arms for my JK! Can't wait!
How are you liking them so far?
@@core4x4fab cold in Wisconsin. Hope to get them in next week. Have to have them in by July for a jamboree!
@@AZ-JKUR-HR Have fun at jamboree, well, I mean, how could you NOT have fun there?
@@core4x4fab got them installed! Also replaced rough country springs with Metalcloak. Replaced RC lower control arms (junk) and added about a 1/4" and much more stable!! Thanks!
Do you guys offer a detailed video on how to properly adjust and set these controls on a jeep TJ?
I can ask the boss to see if we can try to get a video for that. DId watching the TJ install video help you out at all?
@@core4x4fab thanks for the reply but I asked this question 6 months ago and found all my answers on youtube from other people.
When I wear out and outgrow cruise series arms can I press in Johnny joints, I.e. are the end IDs the same between your series?
I don't think so but I will ask the boss.
Are you guys working on jk long arm kits? I have the crawl kit and i absolutely love them...but im willing to upgrade to long arms if its in the works lol thanks guys
We are constantly working on expanding our product line!
Awesome thanks
I'm having problems greasing the Jonny joints! None of my "Camp series" will take any grease. I connect the grease gun and the back pressure is way too high. Please advise?
So sorry for the late response, we missed your comment somehow! Were you able to figure this out?
@@core4x4fab Nope still can't get it to take any grease.
My concern is that this will affect the longevity of the joints and I'm going to have to rebuild these sooner than I would with other brands.
I have the entire set front back uppers and lowers and all of them won't take grease.
are they over torqued ?
@@marvinjoy4233 No they are not even installed on the Jeep.
i would try replacing the zerk fitting, you can get new ones at any autoparts store or tractor supply, sometimes you get a bad one but also check your grease gun for a bad tip.
Did cruise, crawl, and camp replace tier 1,2,3,and 4 or do you have all of these?
Yes they replaced it. They're the same products we just tried to simplify the names so it would be a little easier for people to remember & understand the levels of the producs we provide.
I believe we still have some Tier 2 listed on some of the other websties we started selling on, like Ebay & Amazon.
@core4x4fab Ok. Thanks for the explanation. I was seeing tier 2 on extreme terrain and wasn't sure if they were different or not. Are the rubber ones on both ends maintenance free?
@@jdawg2474 So we do not sell the rubber bushings in our products anymore. We sell our products with polyureruthane bushings or with the Johnny Joints & they are all seviceable, so they are a great option. :)
@core4x4fab I meant the polyurethane but wasn't sure how to spell it. But thanks
