- Some summertime action in South Jersey on 7/12/16. Jude and I went down to try for mainly Triggers and Sharks, catching bait was productive and there were some small triggers and fluke hanging around the inlet rocks. The sharks were semi cooperative, but really didn't start biting until a couple hours after dark. Once it started it was quick action, landed 5 before running out of bait.
The rod/reel I used for the inlet bait/triggers was a 7'4" G. Loomis pro green medium heavy fast action, paired with a shimano sustain fe 4000.
Rod/reel for the sharks is a 12' Star Stellar 20-40lb line 3-10oz lure, with a shimano spheros 14000fb - Кино

Triggerfish, man! They are delicious and fight so well for their size. Killing it over there, I see. Tight lines and I hope you catch that giant Cobia!
This video actually made my day! It makes me really happy seeing people fishing :)
I saw your title and thought you were fishing for King mackerel lol. Great vid.
You're one of my favorite RUclips channels, love your videos
I still can't get over ever time you put bait in with you're drinks... I'm getting you some mouthwash man.. lmao

I really enjoy all your videos! Keep on going!
"Trigga my snigga"
Thanks for taking us fishing!
The trigger fish are awesome. Great job!
Just curious what reel you use and line size and type. I'm planning on getting a Penn fierce 2 combo and put 50lb braid on it. Im a flathead fisherman so I'm hoping I can use the same setup for small to medium sharks.
enjoyed viewing your show, thanks. interesting, what we call king fish down here in Miami/Key Largo look different. Actually, to me, they look like a small red fish, or even a bone fish. fishing sharks from shore very kool too. thanks again, regards
Great vid! Do you think the offshore offshore angler ocean master round casting reel is good for light offshore fish and some 30lb stripers?
love your videos man !!!!!
love these videos
Nice fishing clip man. Your bud Jude, has that shark release down to a science. Tight Lines.
Hey I live in Jersey and I've been trying to look for spots for surf fishing. Where is this place located at? Also, any good recommendations on where the best spots are for surf fishing?
For the small king fish do you need a leader? Also can you me hook and weight suggestion thanks never saltwater fished before
awesome video man!! was just at va beach fishing for cobia and shark, the bunker were so think it was like dark clouds, we snagged em with treble hooks, I'll most likely have vid of the whole thing tonight or tomorrow
Im 16 and im trying to wonder what bait is good for fishing out on the bay in galveston tx
I love your videos
We have fish related to your king whiting,
Called mulloway, (or kob in South Africa) they grow to 1meter plus. They are related to ancient cod.
8:55 that was a good save!
I'll be fishing Wildwood in late July but have never tried fishing there before. Are there any beaches that you can fish all day or are they all life guarded/ no fishing 10-5PM? Are there any beaches you can fish into the night without getting run off by authorities? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
are you chunking them up or whole? and what's the size limit on triggers up there
Hello gaus do you know wish one is good for the sea fishing rods as I don't know wish one I have to get please thx
I liked as soon as It pulled up and I didn't Evan watch it because your videos are always awesome no mater what! And would you try doing vlogs
Love that spot. Nice vid.
Funny, when I first read King I was expecting King Mackerel. I was like, there is no way they king macks up there, lol. I love me some whiting.
+Dp908 yep whiting, mullet, kingfish.... tomato tomAHto haha
hey mind telling me what company made that small spotlight you have?
I went out surf fishing with mackerel filet, bunker, mullet and squid but didn't catch anything is there any tips you could give me
i fish for rock cod with shiner perch is there a type ok better bait for them
What rig are you using? I'm trying to get into saltwater fishing and I'm looking in on some expirenced people to guide me.
What type of fishing line is he using & how many pounds test?
what's the first spots location, where you are catching the kings?
i just like your videos man, hello from spain :)
Hey i live in south jersey can you tell me what location is that i dont go fishing like that but when i do that seems like a nice spot water looks clean well appreciate it
Haven't even watched the video and liked. I love you're videos so much money!
+Joshua Suprapto thanks man!
+Sea-Money Fishing dude I have a separate fishing channel we should do a calab I was there today, surprised I haven't seen you! Always be carful the fish will take the line straight into the rocks. I will be there tomorrow as well.
I’ve fished that sea wall so many times. Nothing lol. You’re pulling them up like it’s easy. Any tips? Time of day? Tide?
A really good bait for kingfish is shrimp, either dead or alive, or squid. I know in Jersey you get a lot of dogfish on squid, at least I did, but now that I live in Florida I catch a majority of my kings on those baits. Tight lines guys.
What fishing knot and hook were you using? Thanks
Lol did anyone else think he was talking about king mackerel from the title?
Every time you say kingfish I think of a King Mackerel. Im from FL so we call em Whiting
Hey Sea-Money, what kind of bait were you using?
I am in the south jersey back bay and I've heard there are some stripers here do u have any tips
Not to long ago I caught an 18 inch Kingfish just surf fishing :)
Yeah Man!!! Your buddy's noT having much luck over there.
never seen the water that blue down there...lovin it
That is some great shark fishing.
That water looks very clear and pretty for New Jersey. I guess it depends which part.
what bait were you using for shark?
i fish this exact spot daily, surprised i didnt see you, hopefully next time!
fish bites... excellent Spot fish & King fish bait.
what rig do you use to catch the kingfish??
Is there a size limit for trigger fish?
And do y'all not have size limits on triggers?
my sister caught a 4 ft sand shark with a rubber bait...I wonder if it works out there
When you said kingfish on clams I was like WHAT, but then I saw you pull up a whiting... Never knew they were called that. But I use a very effective bait that lasts longer to catch whiting called Fishbites!
What rod and reel are you using? Looks like a light rod?
What is the keeper size for trigger fish there?
amazing how blue and clear the water is this year around here
What do u catch your reds on ?
How do you put the bait on the hook?
Hello, can someone please tell me where this is?
Thank you
North wildwood sea wall
I love this sport
I was supposed to say that's a Whitening.I didn't know they're called Kingfish to though are southern kingfish.that's cool thanks for the info man!
If you would have continued around the wall to right behind the church that is a great spot that whole stretch of wall is good for fishing it has a nice drop off and the fish seem to school up there. I know that wall really well use to live right around the corner on mulberry ave so I fished it a lot. Get vids bro and don't mind the haters comments hope to see you out there this fall. Tight lines bro.
Is this north wildwood bulkhead?
no size limit on triggers there?
Hallo I 'm from ny tell me where I can find rod cast over 14 foot
Hi sea money fishing. How are you? what about south nj, can you give me the name where you fishing at? thanks.
Good stuff man good stuff
where in south jersey was this location?
Cool video. When I first heard you call it Northern Kingfish I was confused.
I did not know kingfish could be caught in south new jersey or trigger fish for that matter. Guess I learned today.
Whats that one knot you tie to reduce the use of swivels?
uni to uni knot
can you give some info about how you tie the rigs like hooks and knots?
+Trek800z it's 30lb mono tied with 2 dropper loops above a weight, basically just a top and bottom rig. I'll try to include how I tie it in a future video
I fish that same spot...know it very well. thanks for the videos!
Hey, I was wondering what the name of this fishing spot was. Thank you!
@@AS-wn6zg it’s a secret my man, can’t be giving up my #1 spot
can you catch kingfish from the shore, like surf? or are the jetties better?
Yep, all the beaches in south jersey are producing kingfish right now, it's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Jettys and any beach are good places to catch.
this is the kinda fishing I like
Is your friend shark fishing with a stradic?
Did not see you at check in this morning, Duke of fluke is a good time.....
what type of sharks were these?
I mean if you know the name of sea fishing rods pls
I have never heard whiting be called kingfish. You learn something g new everyday.
Be the best master baiter
Hey man, Down South you can catch these whiting at the very edge of the beach and you don't have to put up with the rocks on a jetty. All you have to do is cast a feather and you're good to go.
Are those hand tied rigs? And what leader strength are they made out of?
yep, 30lb mono, just 2 dropper loops above a weight.
+Sea-Money Fishing Alright, thanks. I usually use 15 lb and just upgraded to 20 lb. I've used 30 before but 20 seems to be the best for me.
Where is this place because I haven't been able to catch and triggers yet this year
+christian cucinotta wildwood. Triggers are weird, they move in and move out at random, all it takes is one day of south wind or big swell and they move just offshore, I rarely catch them and it's generally calm days when the water is really clear and warm that I have any luck with them. I have seen pics online of them caught in shark river all the way to cape may in the past couple weeks, but it's a right place right time sorta thing, there one day gone the next. Pick a stable weather day away from a full or new moon for the best chance.. If they're there they are usually pretty cooperative
He knows how to fish. If I had a king mackerel team.
Are these Atlantic Croakers or legit whiting/kingfish? it's hard to tell lol
what type of weight were you using in this video and what weight would you recommend for shark fishing
great video
+I'm Tbone 5-6oz pyramids are usually all you need for sharkin
+Sea-Money Fishing ok thanks
does anyone know where he is in south jersey
where in south jersey was this?
What brand is your kayak.
Triggerfish its stronger than another fishes?
