- I've been asked this question a few times recently in person and in forums, so in this video I'm going to answering it, and a few other questions about brush-less motors used in FPV that you were afraid to ask.

Many thanks ! This really made my day. I haven't been flying for ages and just got back into the hobby. Found a box of EMAX RS2005S motors and replacement bells. No idea if they are all the same but one said 2600KV :-)

I've always bought 4s motors and ran 6s and 4s on my quad cause I have a mixture of those 2 in my bag. Works great

Thanks bro. I'm new, I bought some cheap motors on AliExpress and I could find the same ones so I was wondering if I could ever use these again. Now knowing no matter what motors are on it they will only spin as fast as the lowest one, I feel better about keeping them as spares

Is it necessary any config to the betaflight to the motors match the one with the lowest kv?
No config changes needed - betaflight will use the lowest kv and match all other motors automatically

Couldn’t tell you, I’ve never used Pixhawk.
