Lois already stated in one of the episodes that her parents paid for the house. In another, they were able to pay for it because of a broken condom. Family Guy is clearly in a multiverse like American Dad is.
@@johnny-beckerthey also lost the house when they blew all that lottery money twice. Quagmire gives Peter a check with the money he makes off the male enhancement.
Did anyone watch the latest Family Guy episode? They did a moment that revealed Peter had been lying to Carter so that he'd pay for everything the Griffins ever did in the series. That crazy fan theory is actually true.
I'm surprised you didn't bring up the Chris and Steve were Switched at Birth Theory. Me and my friends joke about it all the time because of their hair colors Every time we watch American Dad and Family Guy.
There seem to be a lot of brown-haired kids whose hair stays blond for a long time. I don't know how it works, but it happens, and it could be happening to Chris. That said, Steve DOES have Peter's chin...
It is not recommended to drink water directly from a lake. Water in a stream, river or lake may look clean, but it can still be filled with bacteria, viruses, and parasites that can result in waterborne diseases, such as cryptosporidiosis or giardiasis1. Lake water is a still water body, and due to the lack of natural flow process, eutrophication may occur, leading to deterioration of water quality
I've got my own weird Family Guy/American Dad theory, it's all a weird simulation that Peter is in because he either lost or killed his family so the CIA is trying to figure out how it was done, the wackiness of the show comes from Peter mumbling weird things and to keep Peter from escaping the CIA puts those things in to distract him.
@@TerraJ-ug6nc Let me explain how I came up with this theory. There's an episode of the show where Peter goes to meet a new family that's moved into Cleveland's house and it turns out that it's the Smith's from American Dad. At first this turns out to be a dream since it ends with Stan shooting Peter and then Peter wakes up. It was established in an episode of American Dad that the CIA has access to a device that creates simulations that can be anything so I believe at some point Peter was put into one of those devices to either study him or a poor attempt at rehabilitating him. The whole dream about interacting with Stan was actually how Peter was captured because he kidnapped another family in an attempt to recreate the family he lost. It's not something I'm proud of to say the least.
It's possible for Stewie as well, he's a CIA agent transferred into the body of a baby and was made to spy on the Griffins to clear up all of the crap they caused, especially Peter.
I just do not think Peter would ever cheat on Lois with anybody. But I also didn’t watch the video at all before commenting so maybe there’s something I’m missing.
@joshuamohlman gotta ask since my mentality a bit busy fighting a cold and since it's been 12 years or more from last time. I'm just going to do what majority of these dumbasses do. Ask a ignorant question, rhetorical at that to. Yet there's episodes I've missed. Your comment is it based on a actual episode or on a personal opinion/theory?
The Mr Burns and Stewie theory is ridiculous and hopefully they don't explore. Everything doesn't have to be connected just because people want it to be.
In the reverse time episode it’s shown Stevie is Lois’s child Also there’s the episode with the cutaway about Stevie killing a twin in the womb that proves Stevie’s mother is Lois
Ok seriously, the best explanation for why Brian talks, Stewie is a genius, and that everyhing that's weird happens in the show is because it's a freaking cartoon! If Family Guy was as realistic as say, King Of The Hill or Daria, it wouldn't be Family Guy!
I Think, The Theory of Peter Going Insane After Meg, Chris, Lois and Stewie Dying Is Bullcrap. The Theories of Meg Being Stewie's Mother and Brian Having a Human Brain Make a Lot of Sense Though.
I once thought Quagmire and Stan Smith were the same person. The idea of them being cousins makes sense. Also, I have a theory that none of the children are related to Peter. Stan Thompson is Meg’s dad, Dr. Hartman is Chris’s dad, and the man from Quest for Fur is Stewie’s dad.
Wouldn't it be funny if they referenced American dad by claiming Brian is actually a human in a dog's body? "This is like that time we found Brian at the CIA."
I like how the show has multiverses and it might be the same as the Simpsons where each show is in a different universe. I hope we see more theories like these and I wonder if family guy will try to get on the future presiction bandwagon to give the Simpsons some competition in that area.
Apparently, you missed a lot of episodes 😂 Peter gets the money for his shenanigans from robbing the bank. Meg went with him once, and she messed up by shooting the person who was supposed to get them the money 💰
Mr burns is my favourite Simpsons character and stewie is one of my favourite family guy characters but them being the same would be a what the Duce moment and would be stroke of sheer excellence
I can add to the theory by saying Quagmire and Joe aren't his friends. Quagmire is Peter's doctor that prescribes Peter with his medication, and Joe is just a bump cop that Peter just imagines being on a wheelchair. Quagmire hits on most of the women he sees. Cleveland is Peter's real friend and Brian is his support animal. So ergo Brian isn't a talking dog. Mort is hard to say what he is. Hartman is just a normal doctor.
You know a very close friend of mine suggested this one theory for the show to me and I discussed one of my own so just bare with me here. He suggested that Family Guy is a parallel universe of The Simpsons. Here's his evidence and ideas: 1. In this universe, whatever the hell causes the yellow skin obviously isn't present, but the four-fingered hands and Rule of Funny and Comic-Book Time tropes definitely are. His idea is that the Griffins are naturally partial AU (alternate universe) versions of the Simpsons, with for-want-of-a-nail creating a very different legacy. 2. Abraham Simpson stayed in Ireland after the war, and years of being the town bartender eventually turned him into a drunk. Renaming himself Mickey McFinnigan, he made a brand new life for himself, even dying his hair orange. He eventually wooed a version of Mona Simpson (who was named Thelma instead) and Peter (a.k.a Homer) was conceived. Being married to the grumpy fundamentalist Francis Griffin resulted in Thelma becoming extremely disillusioned and embittered, which is why she's abusive unlike her Mona counterpart. 3. Homer Simpson used to have brown hair before becoming bald and Peter has brown hair. They're both fat idiots, but Peter is a lot more stupid because he suffers from worse head injuries. He's even more of the Fat Bastard trope than Homer because of the aforementioned Abusive Parents trope above. 4. Meg, Chris, and Stewie are half-siblings to Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. This is because Lois Griffin isn't an AU version of Marge Simpson. Carter Pewterschmidt (Lois' dad) is an AU son of Mr. Burns (Homer's boss). However, (will agreeing with my friend's logic) I don't believe that they could be parallel universes considering the fact that the entire Season Premiere of Season 13 is all about the Griffins going to Springfield and meeting the Simpsons. So instead, I proposed the alternate theory that maybe they're relatives instead. Homer's dad Abraham "Abe" Grandpa Simpson has been to Ireland during World War II, so it's possible that he had an affair and Peter's biological father Mickey McFinnigan was born. We also know that Grandpa has had affairs and conceived Homer's half-siblings Herbert Powell and Abbey before. Even using the earliest possible date of Family Guy as 1999 and thus Peter's conception around 1955, Mickey could still be capable of conceiving (since we only meet him in one single episode and don't learn his age or anything about his family) if Grandpa had just entered the war (even though it would technically be considered statutory rape) and given that Grandpa had in fact attempted to assassinate Adolf Hitler crica 1936 (assuming that this isn't him being an example of the Unreliable Narrator trope) he may have still been able to ensure Mickey's legality. With this, Peter Griffin is technically Homer Simpson's half-nephew and in his case the brown hair was a recessive trait. I would love to see this revealed on the two shows.
I’m not a fan of theories of any kind but this list is pretty good and would explain a lot of things. Also, Seth’s series wouldn’t be as good as they are if there weren’t some “but wait a minute “ moments
We know the one where Carter funds the family is true (number 15). In season 22 episode 9, Peter says "this is how we play the bills", and he calls Carter , fake crying, asking him to pay the mortgage. It's implied that this is a regular occurrence.
I Think plot holes or continuity errors are okay with shows that involve time travel as much as this does it's not a main main thing with every episode and every season but it's there a fair bit
It is what it is. Peter is immature, Chris is slow, Meg is abused, Lois is resentful, Stewie is a lonely genius, and Brian is a pretender who resonates with Stewie. There's no mystery. They're a family.
Pretty specious reasoning to say both characters share the same voice actor so they must be related- especially in Seth McFarlane's shows. The Greased Up Deaf Guy and Cleveland share the same voice actor so by that logic, they're related too. Half the "proof" for the theories on this list is just common similarities or plot points twisted to fit the theory they're listed under 🙄
I'm pretty sure the only voice actors who voice their characters' own blood relatives are Seth MacFarlane (Peter & Stewie) and Alex Borstein (Babs & Lois). Then there's Mila Kunis as Meg, Scott Grimes as Kevin, Seth Green as Neil Goldman, Kevin Michael Richardson as Cleveland Jr., Sam Elliott as Wild West, yadda yadda yadda...
I like the theory that all the money comes from Stewie being a child actor after the diaper commercial, and they are spending all of his money instead of saving it for college.

Re: #2, 1) Brian absolutely acts like a dog sometimes. He chews on his ass. He eats vomit/poop. He has sex with other dogs on occasion; he hits it off with Ellie because they both talk, which is borderline, but he also -- unable to control himself -- pounces on the Pewterschmidts' greyhound Seabreeze. 2) MY crazy fan theory is that Dylan isn't Brian's son. When Ted Turner impregnates Seabreeze, their litter looks like puppies with Ted Turner heads. Stewie's litter with Brian is a bunch of deformed baby-puppy hybrids that look like both of them. Yet, Dylan looks ONLY human. Tracy having sex with someone else would not only explain Dylan's looks -- it would also explain why Dylan is chronologically older than Brian (not the "dog years" explanation in his first episode).
Seriously! There's Ellie, the show dog that Brian falls in love with, and...I think his name was Rick? The dog that almost gets Brian to neuter himself. (edit: probably others that I'm forgetting too)
my god 9:27 and its not done yet. I'm out. 20 was too much and there's no consistency or order from least surprising to most surprising. No suspense or build up. So no reason to continue to watch. Talk about a Dud.

Which is why Stewie is so smart and hates Lois
