For number 1, just because Jesus exists doesn't prove there's a "God". He does appear to have his own powers/abilities. There's no shown proof that said abilities are provided by any "God". I'm sure Brian would actually say the same point to this one. Being originally Jewish myself (now agnostic), I'd more likely to see a miracle by Moses since he'd literally need a helping hand for any miracles and doesn't have powers of his own, just saying.
@@keynanmartinezI think some of these potholes may not exist or be issue since they in Family Guy Family Guy was revealed to be an TV show and they were actors starring in it.
@@WatchMojoyou do realize that due to the multiverse episode, furries are canon in the family guy universe as well as a universe where everyone is their fursona. Not only does this somewhat close plot holes, as this could be a result of Stewie collecting things from other universes, but also other more subtle differences. Alongside this, if American dad and family guy do infact share a universe, due to this, and the American dad furry Easter egg, no doubt this is somewhat proven to be a thing. I can only imagine Brian asking Stewie what are fursuits and Stewie giving an entire essay.
There is one episode where there their house is flooding and for some reason they are talking about movies, Stewie gives his take on the movie and Lois says "I agree with Stewie, blah blah blah (I forget what she said)"
@@Herbicide420 there’s also when their air conditioner stops during a heat wave and Stewie demands his overalls or he’ll call child services and Lois replies “Please don’t threaten Mommy. She’s very hot.” Or that time Peter tried to potty train Stewie, Stewie tells Peter to put his hands on the toilet seat and Stewie slams the seat on his hands. Peter thinks he probably doesn’t need to pee and considers giving him beer saying it goes right through him. Stewie then sarcastically suggests “lighting up a doobie and watching porn” to which Peter goes “Y-…Yeah?”
Some of them are easy to explain. Peter mentioning Quagmires "behind" means that he was with his back to the door, so it's possible they didn't seen his face. Brian could possibly hear the fire fighter because dogs have a good hearing. There are examples where people conform outwardly to those around them. There are even some who are beginning to resemble their pets
Stewie is the easiest one for me. I've always had a theory that everybody can actually understand him but they don't pay attention to him because he's just a baby so he's really not worth listening to. They're used to babies who just babble incoherently so they just figure he's just on some baby nonsense. No big deal. There's even proof of this when Lois dreams about Stewie and can clearly understand him. How would Stewie have the exact same voice, cadence, and vocabulary if she couldn't understand him? There are probably still some holes but I think it's as logical an explanation as any unless they somehow come up with some clever explanation that makes it all make sense
The one with how peter took in brian could be. He first got him when he was a puppy, but sold him to that other family for the money. The other family lost him, which made him homeless, but the peter saw him and regonized brian is the puppy he sold. This caused peter too feel guilty for brian being homeless and he too brain in again.
I think it's actually a a hidden plot that that can only be seen by a select few because if you work at Carol's baby it resembles Stewie before he got his head shaped like a football from hitting it on the stealing while bouncing on the bed and we all know the messed-up stuff that Lois and Peter have done and there was an episode in more recent seasons where they actually kidnapped a kid to get him help because his parents didn't believe in modern medicine and so we all know that Lois and Peter are perfectly capable of kidnapping... so perhaps Stewie is a future form of that baby after Lois and Peter kidnaps him from Carol because of how Reckless she is and how often she has men in and out of her lives they realized they could give Stewie a better life and raised him as their own and that would also explain why he's so different... I theorize that it's either that or Carol unknowingly had herself impregnated with Peter sperm from the sperm bank because there was an episode in recent seasons where he had like 100 Kids from his sperm replacing all of their samples at the sperm bank
There is one tiny loop hole that has always bothered me. In one episode, Peter is excited because he’s been selected for jury duty, thinking it’s some sort of honor. Then it’s explained what it really is, and Peter gets very disappointed. However, in an early season episode (can’t think of which specific one right now), Peter lies and says a racist comment specifically to get out of jury duty.
You missed the most obvious one within the whole series! Meg and Chris have both aged throughout the series, yet Stewie is still a baby. Meg started at 15 and is now 18. Chris started at 13 and, while not actually given a direct age recently, has gone through different grades in school. Stewie has been roughly around a year old the entire time! 😂
Here's another one. How old are Quagmire's parents? In the episode, "Foxy Lady", it's revealed that Quagmire was born in 1948. Quagmire's trans father appears from time to time, and we even see his mother in the episode "Quagmire's Mom". Quagmire's parents look a little over 30 years older than him. So, that would mean his parents would be in their late 90's or early 100's. They look great for their ages however. Maybe it's the carrots thing?
@@jesusrox4u No. Technically, a sex change operation only makes you LOOK like the opposite gender. But Quagmire's dad can't produce egg cells, or have periods, like a REAL woman.
6: I've always understood it as Lois and Peter CAN understand Stewie, they just dismiss and ignore everything he says, like as baby babbling/nonsense. They just assume that as a baby he has nothing to say they need to pay any attention to. (Of course, the Stewie's First Word episode, which I LOVE for how hard they slam Caillou, suggests I was wrong, but then I just think they suspended this version for the gag of the episode). 5: I feel like the "Meg's Real Father" line was a throwaway, non-canon gag. 4: "Tricked Stewie into taking the blood oath, as a way to spread herpes to the infant"? "Plan"? What kind of garbage sentence is THAT??? Did nobody at WatchMojo ACTUALLY watch the episode? The oath wasn't his idea, and he had NO motivation or intent to spread it! Stewie had to talk him into it, what plan??!?! The issue was that Brian ignores that he has it, he let Stewie do the oath with him despite that - in this universe - that would infect Stewie with herpes! He's a scumbag for, more than keeping it a secret, letting Stewie do it despite the danger he doesn't know about. (Also, CAN'T YOU catch herpes like that? Isn't it something he'd carry in his blood, that would spread when mixing blood? This seems counter-intuitive...)
@@chazeveretttheres one episode when stewie is a paperboy when herbert makes a remark so stewie tells him to stay away and calls him a perverted old freak.
stewie is the onlyy one that tells herbert off one episode P...off you perverted old freak and herberts like oh we got a fighter and anothe rone stewie tells herbert to stay away from my brothers butt
The one that always bugged me was that in the episode where they win the lottery, Peter is shown writing checks to Joe and Quagmire. A few seasons later, in the episode where Quagmire gets with an underage girl, the start of the episode focuses on Peter not having a checking account and Lois making him get one
140: You totally forgot Chris Griffin’s birth. In early seasons, there was a picture on the fridge that Lois gave birth to her son as a full grown teenager . It was mentioned again in Season 8 when Peter told Quagmire that Chris nearly tore Lois apart while giving birth. Now, in new Seasons, they show a baby book of Chris as a baby. How is that possible?
You're treating this like a problem because it technically wasn't a cut away and therefore cannot be easily disputed? Because it sounds like whenever they actually cut away to something as part of a joke. You can easily ignore the kind of nuity of it, but if it's something that happens or is discuss in present time then it's treated more like it's meant to be serious? Actually in that episode where Lois becomes a boxer, I believe there's technically only one cut away where Peter Griffin burps loudly in an underground parking lot. Every other joke happens in real time in that episode
Plot Holes you never noticed: Brian's son is older than he is Me, an impressively observant person: They literally called out that this isn't possible in the episode
I feel like the recent Family Guy episode Adoptation would have worked better if Carter & Babs had fostered Carol's son in that episode because Carol was having a hard time getting over Mayor West and considered adopting him until Carol returns well again.
Meg is aware of stewie’s Time Machine but no one else is. Also stewie acting like an actual baby in times where he really shouldn’t to prevent something bad from happening.
For me it’s the continuity of the size of the Griffin family house. In earlier seasons it was a modest cape code and lately all the rooms are shown to be like 1000 sq feet. Don’t even get me started on their basement or Stewie’s room, lol. That size seems to change scene by scene.
As for Carol's baby, we could always just assume that she gave him up for adoption after realizing that maybe she wasn't fit to be a single mother, and that she wanted him to grow up having two parents. I mean hey, it's a cartoon, so at the end of the day we can all come up with our own opinions/theories.
Then there was the episode when Stewie's Eastern European nanny turns out to be some sort of spy/agent/assassin who's being pursued by enemies and, while she's trying to escape them, she takes off with Stewie only to toss him out of a plane with a parachute, telling him to "Count to 3 and pull the cord" at which point she tosses him out and Stewie yells, "I don't know my numbers." That's fine for any ordinary baby but we all know that Stewie has managed to invent all sorts of impressive scientific machines (a time machine, a machine he used to shrink Brian, a brain-swapping machine, the machine that wound up creating "Evil Stewie," a teleportation machine, etc) but, somehow, WITHOUT knowing his numbers. Sounds like a REALLY big plot hole.
a lot of these are jokes so depending on the episode the characters will behave differently to accommodate the joke. it's not supposed to be taken as seriously canon which is why Family Guy works on so many levels.
I agree. I also think of it as a show where you’re supposed to take every individual episode as the first time you’re meeting them all, basically. So most of the inconsistencies don’t bother me. This still does present *some* issues of inconsistency, of course, but overall that’s how I mostly rectify it 😂
Stewie developing stage fright isn't a plot hole. It can happen to anyone at any time. I was in plays in school in lead and supporting roles for a decade and I was normally fine but there were two times when I did get stage fright. No real reason for it, it just happened. Not a plot hole, just a quirk of human nature.
1) There is one thing I theorized about Brian's age. Since there is a fan theory that Stewie is de-aging himself, it's possible that he's also de-aging Brian as well. 2) It's possible that Brian isn't an atheist and he only says it just so he doesn't get dragged into go to church. 3) Another plot hole is the dinner between Quagmire and Brian, where Quagmire explains why Brian sucks. Relations with Lois, biological children, dating/wanting women, being a normal common sense person, etc.
"Another plot hole is the dinner between Quagmire and Brian, where Quagmire explains why Brian sucks. Relations with Lois, biological children, dating/wanting women, being a normal common sense person, etc." Not to mention the fact that Quagmire does these exact same things *and much more objectionable* actions throughout the show - watching this scene was like watching the pot calling the kettle black...
I think the fact that peter and lois cant understand stewie even though chris can and lois is way smarter than chris because it could be making reference to the fact the peter and lois are fairly ignorant of their kids. Also how can brian be old enough to drink in dog years when the drinking age is 50 but not old enough to father a teenage child if hes 7 in human years but 49 in dog years? That in itself is a plot hole is it not?
In the episode Road To Rhode Island it is revealed, that Brian was born in a farm near Austin, Texas. Brian and Stewie visit the farm later in the episode, only to find out his mother is dead, stuffed and used as table.
I always wondered why women on TV have super long pregnancies, which last for well over a year, and not the standard nine months. Rachel from Friends was a major example, and recently Mandy from Young Sheldon.
alot of the times in shows the shows seasons only takes place a few days or like a few months so a whole season can take place a few days to a a few months like that 70s show for instance look at the licencs place at the beginning of the season it says what year it takes place in later on in the season there were multiple seasons that only took place in one year so the reason they have so called long pregnacies in shows is because the show only takes place a few months less than 9 months like friends where phebe and rachael were pregnant thats just how shows work but phebe from friends was actually pegnant in real life they worked that into the show but ya shows dont exactly work the same way it does in the real life again shows seasons dont exactly take place in one year could be full season within the matter of couple of monts or weeks some e pisodes take place right after the last episode ends so 2 epidsodes of a show can take place in one day
latr in that 70s show thet did multiple seasons in one year because like i said they did the date on the license plate and was running into a problem with the date almost running into the 80s lol so they had to make multiple seasons to stay in the 70s where the last episode of the series was new years turning 1980 lol
look at the show 24 each season took place in the span of one day thats why it was called 24 as in 24 hrs you have to think how ong each season actually is and how many days each season actually takes place in
but of course rules dont apply in cartoons like family guy and simpsons and southpark lol thats why peters like come on bonnie you been preg for 9 years have the baby or dont lol and the family guy simpson crossover stewie asks bart how long nelson has been bulling him bart answers 24 years lol
Ok so you’re saying that Brian, a dog, couldn’t hear people talking downstairs in the house he’s in?! First off dogs have excellent hearing. But aside from that the house is not that big. He absolutely would have heard that conversation
he hears conversations all the time like when they were in th kitchen talking about Rush Limbaugh and brian runs down stairs and says he awful or when peter and lois are having sex brians like my hearing is better than urs i hear suction and stuff many times it shows brians hearing is good or when peter hurts his balls and brian and the town dogs all start barking because they are the only ones that can hear peter scream in a frequency only dogs can hear lol
Yeah - Stewie's supertech fucking up the universe certainly would explain a lot of things in the "Family Guy" universe (especially all the negative continuity...).
The first one Brian with the family. There's also another episode you didn't mention where Brian meets a dog he knew from when he's was homeless on the street. Since it's been shown that Family Guy is actors doing a show there is the theory that in real life Brian was on the streets and asked to be on the show. You said in earlier Seasons Chris couldn't understand Stewie but there's an episode where you see Stewie get born Chris mentions the talking.
the whole brian story made complete sense to me... the family before him took care of him and probably recorded all the puppy videos then he either ran away or left and became homeless then ran into peter
@@PleaseMurderMyFamily cause hes a dog? dog will literally run away for no reason at all majority of the times boom doors open mfs goneeee also i didnt only say run away he couldve also just... left
Once again, I have to say the reason Brian is able to have a 13-year-old boy despite being 7 is because like he said, they're in dog years. Brian at the age of seven of Dylan's debut episode and that's the equivalent of 49-year-old which is older than 13 The solution is simple. Just look at the Robin Williams movie Jack where Robin William plays the titular character that ages four times as fast so he looks like a 40-year-old when he's only been alive for 10 years. Same thing applies here. Because Dylan's father is a dog. He ages as fast as a dog so when he looks like a 13-year-old boy in his debut he technically only has been alive for almost 2 years in universe. But seriously, no character ever actually ages in cartoons unless they actually meant to anyway. So why would it even be a big deal?
Here's another one. Lois is 2 years younger than Peter, but they were both 18 in 1984. In the season 2 episode, "Let's Go to the Hop", it's revealed that Lois is younger than Peter by 2 years. However, in the season 5 episode, "Meet the Quagmires", Death takes Peter back to the year of 1984, where somehow Peter and Lois were both 18 years old at that time, which is mathematically impossible. Lois should have been 16 years old at that time.
Another Family Guy plot hole is about Quagmire's mother...in season 4 "Brian The Bachelor", Brian apologized to Brooke about the dinner disaster at the Griffins house but Brooke explains that it was not as bad as her dinner date with Quagmire and his mom, where she was off screen and sounding like an elderly cat lady. But then later when Quagmire was on trial, he was was explaining that his behavior stemmed from his mother being very promiscuous, and the way he learned his ABCs was by naming all the men that came to the house to see her.
I think Brian being an atheist is him being a contrarian since they have brought this up, hell Stewie even said, "Jesus lived with us for two weeks, what else do you need?"
NUMBER 13!!!!!!!! I always had a problem with that storyline lol. Number 10, I’m gonna have to look at that episode to really try and understand what they were trying to explain. And Lois accent one, I feel like that can be explained from simply living with Peter for 20 years and picking up his accent.
It's actually inconsistent . In one of the episodes Quagmire's Transdad Ida is mentioned to be 61 years old. In another episode it's shown that lois Peter and Quagmire are in the same school and are of the same age.
13:14 This one is a strange plot point...but as Stewie says, sometimes the main cast can catch the gist of what he is saying....but mostly the only time they can is if he is angry. The only ones who can fully understands him is Brian and Chris.
@estebangutierrez160 Brian's likability deteriorated as the series went on, but Quagmire was a frigging hypocrite. He chastised Brian for hitting on Lois when he has done the exact same thing several times not to mention he's developed an immunity to pepper spray
@@tierefuerimmer9635 he cause the divorce between Cleveland and Loretta, wants to bang Meg, and he even drugs the women he sleeps with which is rape. Not to mention he wanted to commit necrophilia with two, and we don't even know if any of the women he sleeps with are married.
Considering that negative continuity is just a part of the show, things like "plot holes" don't really have a lot of meaning in the context of this series - the characters become whatever the plot of the episode requires them to be and the history of those characters change as the writers will for the sake of a gag.
Here's another one. How are Lois and Patrick red-heads? Lois and her older brother, Patrick (a.k.a. the fat guy strangler) have red hair. However, their parents, Carter and Babs, never had red hair. Anytime there's a flashback showing Carter or Babs from a long time ago, it always shows them having black hair. So, where the hell did Lois and Patrick's red hair come from? Also, bonus fact: Lois was originally going to have blonde hair, which is why Chris is blonde.
12:15 Bonnie being pregnant for 10 years? Sure, it could be cartoon law, but you know, she and Joe been trying for years and going through different forms of methods, and maybe one of the methods sort of slowed down the pregnancy somehow.
Next should definitely: -Why Cleveland,Joe,and Quagmire Should End Their Friendship With Peter Griffin 💔 -Why Bart Simpson Should be Expelled From Springfield Elementary 😈
Guys, it's like you're taking yourselves too serious in some of these picks. You miss the idea the show is a comedic one in nature, so they sometimes intentionally make unrealistic, or funny scenes, not following law of physics, or logic, or math etc. Like that one with Brian and his son, where Brian could father his son if counted in "dog years". That was a joke, of course :) ! It's like you don't get the show sometimes a little bit. No offence...
I'd like to imagine this is all stories Peter tells many years into the future, and when he can't remember, he just makes up wild narratives that didn't happen to fill in the gaps.
Oh, and on the point of Lois's accent, um, she picked it up after years of living with Peter? As to why she has it in "flashback" scenes, well, it has been established in the show that she was never all that comfortable with her family's wealth and she may have simply tried fitting in with the people she wanted to be with. (Then again, Peter's accent doesn't really seem to match his own upbringing. His father, Francis, had a very old-fashioned Irish-influenced accent, despite presumably having been American-born and -bred. And his mother had a fairly nondescript Phyllis Diller accent--because she was voiced by the legendary comedienne. Yet, Peter has that thick working-class New England accent which neither of the parents with whom he grew up possessed so where/how did Peter get HIS accent?)
I question the idea of "canon" in Family Guy. A million things happen in each episode, and after the conclusion of most episodes, nothing we watched actually happened.
Here's a Family Guy plothole that doesn't make sense to me. Stewie meets Santa in "Road To The North Pole," yet is terrified to meet him "For The first time" in "Christmas Is Coming."
Family Guy is pretty much built on plot holes since it has nonsensical cutaways as its main "thing". That's prolly why South Park ripped it a new one in that hilarious episode. I love both shows though, even though they're so different...
12:57 Well you see love can do many a strange things. Maybe she just has that accent from the time that her relationship with Peter was actually a really great relationship.
15:24, I have no idea how this even works. Brian's a Dog and him having a Human Kid (or more) seems weird. Plus, even if Brian has Kids, shouldn't they be looking like, well, DOGS AND NOT HUMAN KIDS???? I know its a Cartoon, but this Logic has to make sense.
I think one the biggest plot holes that nobody seems to talk about is Nate Griffin, Peter's black ancestor. He was a slave owned by lois's family who started a family with one of the Pewterschmidts. This would mean that Peter and Lois were already related before they got married. 😦
My only complaint with the fact that this video was made I’d the fact that Family Guy isn’t intended to be relatable to the real world. It’s supposed to be absurd and ridiculous to the point that things that we consider offensive happen to the cast because it can be funny in a completely dark humor manner.
for the Stewie stage fright issue - was this the 1st time Stewie's family (other than Brian) saw him? it might not be stage fright it might just be not wanting to perform in front of the family?
Well the plot hole of Peter's hair turning brown again even though it became white could be explained by him dyeing his hair brown and continuing to do so, as it is common for older adults with gray hair to color their hair so as to conceal the graying
6:38 Why did Stewie ended up having stage fright, after losing his place at Frank Senatra JR club? A couple of possiblities here...either he encountered something scary here, or a painful memory triggered it...since you know, he is a baby and he remembers his own birth, so somehow, it could connect.....or maybe the authorities scared the hell out of him. He is one years old, the world and grown ups can be scary.
meg being "untalented" and a bad singer despite there being an entire episode where she was a popstar with a good singing voice that entire episode is one big plot hole. but its still my favorite episode
Another big plot hole is how is it that when stewie had brian kids by mixing their dna they create these ugly and disabled babies, but when brian has his son, his son comes out completely normal with no defects!
I don't think she as done enough terrible things to fill a list. She has done some bad things but not nearly as much as the other family members. I think she could only fill out a 10 worst things list, maybe.

The one with how peter took in brian could be. He first got him when he was a puppy, but sold him to that other family for the money. The other family lost him, which made him homeless, but the peter saw him and regonized brian is the puppy he sold. This caused peter too feel guilty for brian being homeless and he too brain in again.
I definitely noticed Carols baby vanishing. I guess the writers just completely forgot about it.
It has no bearing on any future plot...they didn't forget, they realized unlike most tht they're writing a cartoon
I just chalked it up to the baby daddy taking custody.
Oh shit
They mention this too. Brian asks Stewie how old he is and he says one and Brian asks "Still?"
99.99% true. He wasn't one extremely early in the show but he turns one in one of the early episodes. He even gets a birthday party.
Wouldn’t Ida be Quagmire’s trans mother and not Quagmire’s father due to Ida’s sex change and being trans?
@@jesusrox4u No. Technically, a sex change operation only makes you LOOK like the opposite gender. But Quagmire's dad can't produce egg cells, or have periods, like a REAL woman.
The creators of Family Guy don't care at all about plot inconsistencies.
Same with their American Dad show.
I was always suprised by the fact that nobody notices Herbert's attraction to Chris and other children that is very strange.
Agreed, I know it's a comedy show, but in real life, Herbert would be arrested.
@@chazeveretttheres one episode when stewie is a paperboy when herbert makes a remark so stewie tells him to stay away and calls him a perverted old freak.
Peter is Catholic. Pedophilic behavior is normal to those types.
stewie is the onlyy one that tells herbert off one episode P...off you perverted old freak and herberts like oh we got a fighter and anothe rone stewie tells herbert to stay away from my brothers butt
Stewie also says at one point there's a pedophile up the street but he's hilarious so noones dealing with it 😂
The one that always bugged me was that in the episode where they win the lottery, Peter is shown writing checks to Joe and Quagmire.
Obviously the pic was joke... You can't birth a full grown teenager
Also there was a cutaway where they kidnapped him from a Dutch family, iirc 😂😂
Plot Holes you never noticed: Brian's son is older than he is
Me, an impressively observant person: They literally called out that this isn't possible in the episode
he says hes 7 in multiple episodes
He's 56 in dog years
That also explained that one.. Saying he said 7 in human years but way older in dog years
I feel like the recent Family Guy episode Adoptation would have worked better if Carter & Babs had fostered Carol's son in that episode because Carol was having a hard time getting over Mayor West and considered adopting him until Carol returns well again.
Meg is aware of stewie’s Time Machine but no one else is.
Also stewie acting like an actual baby in times where he really shouldn’t to prevent something bad from happening.
that secret went to the grave with her when she was killed and replaced by that russian clone lol. unless that happened after
@@TheCbazza Unless that was just a one-off cutaway gag that was retconned away by one of Stewie's time travel adventures...
Then there was the episode when Stewie's Eastern European nanny turns out to be some sort of spy/agent/assassin who's being pursued by enemies and, while she's trying to escape them, she takes off with Stewie only to toss him out of a plane with a parachute, telling him to "Count to 3 and pull the cord" at which point she tosses him out and Stewie yells, "I don't know my numbers."
That's fine for any ordinary baby but we all know that Stewie has managed to invent all sorts of impressive scientific machines (a time machine, a machine he used to shrink Brian, a brain-swapping machine, the machine that wound up creating "Evil Stewie," a teleportation machine, etc) but, somehow, WITHOUT knowing his numbers.
This still does present *some* issues of inconsistency, of course, but overall that’s how I mostly rectify it 😂
Since the series is coming back, could you do the top 10 Futurama plotholes no one has noticed.
Here's the craziest thing. Brian can talk. Most people don't realize that dogs CAN'T actually talk! Mind blowing!
Also, he walks on two legs most of the time, drives a car, drinks alcohol, has relationships with human women and even a completely human son. 😵💫
You can't exactly cry "plot holes" with Family Guy with how random the show is 🤷♂️ plot holes or not Family Guy is still funny as hell 😂
Exactly, it's supposed to make people grind their gears.
Seriously
@@gmmartines7331 yep seriously
Relations with Lois, biological children, dating/wanting women, being a normal common sense person, etc."
Not to mention the fact that Quagmire does these exact same things *and much more objectionable* actions throughout the show - watching this scene was like watching the pot calling the kettle black...
Chris has always understood stewie, even into the first season. It was just small banter back then and then recently it was more than banter
The lack of consistency could be do to Stewie and Brian time traveling. Brian hung out with Warhol before the time machine was mentioned.
Well...Peter is not the smartest Griffin so he could simply forget meeting Homer.
10 months. Women are pregnant 10 months
Yeah, babies were forgotten all over that show!
Like Meg's!
Also,Meg takes after Lois,not Peter!
It's almost as if it's a cartoon that just focuses on comedy and roasting people and the individual episodes' stories and not an overarching arch
For #19 Peter probably just dye it back to brown (inside the show)
the whole brian story made complete sense to me...
the family before him took care of him and probably recorded all the puppy videos then he either ran away or left and became homeless then ran into peter
If they loved him so much , then why did he run away ???
@@PleaseMurderMyFamily cause hes a dog? dog will literally run away for no reason at all majority of the times boom doors open mfs goneeee also i didnt only say run away he couldve also just... left
Brian probably time travelled through time to have Dylan but in classic family guy fashion it's never explained like Brian remaining an Aethist
Once again, I have to say the reason Brian is able to have a 13-year-old boy despite being 7 is because like he said, they're in dog years. Brian at the age of seven of Dylan's debut episode and that's the equivalent of 49-year-old which is older than 13
The solution is simple.
You can be promiscuous and still love your pet....
I think Brian being an atheist is him being a contrarian since they have brought this up, hell Stewie even said, "Jesus lived with us for two weeks, what else do you need?"
Lol I don’t care what anyone says! That son died tomato joke is one of the funniest things I’ve ever heard 😂
That's... kinda sad. Not the joke itself but that it's the funniest thing you've ever heard
Actually, Quagmire WAS 61. Quagmire was born in 1948. He was 61 in 2009. So in 2023 he's 75.
he's still 61, family guy characters don't age (most of them)
@@Anonymous-rq8zi I guess it makes kinda sense since famly guy doesn't make sense. But still, he should be 75 in 2023 rn.
It's actually inconsistent . In one of the episodes Quagmire's Transdad Ida is mentioned to be 61 years old. In another episode it's shown that lois Peter and Quagmire are in the same school and are of the same age.
Or maybe he's just perpetually 61 in the same way Stewie is perpetually one-year-old...
13:14 This one is a strange plot point...but as Stewie says, sometimes the main cast can catch the gist of what he is saying....but mostly the only time they can is if he is angry. The only ones who can fully understands him is Brian and Chris.
I noticed Brian would be on this list because everyone, mostly quagmire hated him
More like the writing for Brian is questionable. I do get why people hate Brian, I just don't understand why people don't hate Glenn more.
@@tierefuerimmer9635 To say nothing of the Japanese concubines he keeps locked away in his garage...
Since dogs have really good hearing, Brian could have overheard the firefighter from upstairs
Next should definitely:
-Why Cleveland,Joe,and Quagmire Should End Their Friendship With Peter Griffin 💔
-Why Bart Simpson Should be Expelled From Springfield Elementary 😈
Peter and Brain didn't recognise Quagmire, because he had his back to them, since all they could see was his behind.
Dr. Hartman and Joe Swanson being every kind of doctor/cop is weird too.
138: I hardly noticed Carol and her baby boy. Wasn’t aware
I'd like to imagine this is all stories Peter tells many years into the future, and when he can't remember, he just makes up wild narratives that didn't happen to fill in the gaps.
I have a simply explanation each episode is a different multiverse
Good job as always guys 👏
139: I got some good ones, Tom Tucker’s son Jake, we haven’t seen him that much and the Evil Monkey, whom is in Jake’s closet
The one about Brian being an atheist really made me look at it in a whole new way
I'm not sure watchmojo knows what a plot hole is
141: The Herbert thing is pretty obvious to me. Doesn’t Lois and Peter care about their kids?
Brian is 7 human years old, he's actually 49. 15:47
I believe Stewie developed language skills at an early age because he's just that much of a genius.
I question the idea of "canon" in Family Guy. A million things happen in each episode, and after the conclusion of most episodes, nothing we watched actually happened.
Some things still apply and stick, like Loretta and Cleveland divorcing, Quagmire hating Brian, Carter disliking Peter so much, etc.
Here's a Family Guy plothole that doesn't make sense to me. Stewie meets Santa in "Road To The North Pole," yet is terrified to meet him "For The first time" in "Christmas Is Coming."
Brian just does the things he does because he's incredibly petty
Maybe the next list for Family Guy should be "Top 20 Consistencies in Family Guy."
Family Guy is pretty much built on plot holes since it has nonsensical cutaways as its main "thing". That's prolly why South Park ripped it a new one in that hilarious episode. I love both shows though, even though they're so different...
another thing about the episode Adoptation they did not mention Lois's siblings Carol & Patrick
Peter probably Dyed his hair between Episodes
12:57 Well you see love can do many a strange things. Maybe she just has that accent from the time that her relationship with Peter was actually a really great relationship.
Family Guy like The Simpsons have a flexible timeline so they can chop and choose what happens with their characters.
3:17 ‘NEVER ALTER THE PAST, Brian!’ - Stewie
My only complaint with the fact that this video was made I’d the fact that Family Guy isn’t intended to be relatable to the real world. It’s supposed to be absurd and ridiculous to the point that things that we consider offensive happen to the cast because it can be funny in a completely dark humor manner.
Exactly, like I laugh at a few dark jokes.
the only top 20 video I've ever watched
for the Stewie stage fright issue - was this the 1st time Stewie's family (other than Brian) saw him? it might not be stage fright it might just be not wanting to perform in front of the family?
lol at the carter 'not having an accent'
15:45
Stewie and Brian time travel regularly. So it's not as impossible as you might think
meg being "untalented" and a bad singer despite there being an entire episode where she was a popstar with a good singing voice
that entire episode is one big plot hole. but its still my favorite episode
Not to mention the episode in which she was forced to demonstrate a series of different athletic abilities to qualify for her college admission...
Brian witnessed divine plagues visit his own home and even acknowledges how pissed God is.
Man’s living in denial
Don’t forget there’s an episode where brian was going to church with the griffins at one point.
What about the inconsistency of where Lois's parents live. At one point Stewie has to take a train there. Other times the family drives there
Another big plot hole is how is it that when stewie had brian kids by mixing their dna they create these ugly and disabled babies, but when brian has his son, his son comes out completely normal with no defects!
I think the next Family Guy video should be top 20 worst things Meg has done. You did one for Stewie, Peter, Brian, and Lois, but not Meg.
I don't think she as done enough terrible things to fill a list. She has done some bad things but not nearly as much as the other family members. I think she could only fill out a 10 worst things list, maybe.

12:12 "Oldest son" implies they have more than one son. "Oldest child" would therefore be correct.
im fairly sure that herbert has a restraining order as one ep a side character (a coach i think) yells at someone off screen and you hear herbert reply im "20 feet away"
I think the brian begging is canon
10:47 You know how it is, you see people around, but your not going to remember every person you see. Not only that, unless you do something memorial with someone and hang out with them often, you will forge. it is the same with The Simpsons and Family Guy here. And the fact that both dads are alcoholics and they forget everything anyway...but even still.
The plot holes can be easily explained by Stewie's time machine
