To this day it is still my favorite food in the world even though I haven’t had it in over 15 years. I’ve tried to recreate it a few times but I just can’t find a recipe that would do it justice. Any clues?

Those look delicious! As an FYI, the seeds do not have any capsaicin in them. The capsaicin in a jalapeño is in the white part the seeds are attached to.

Take any hot pepper, fill with stuffed pepper cheese filling, set in freezer for 20 minutes, remove, slice, refreeze 15 minutes, dip frozen caps in batter, fry, and enjoy with dipping sauces.
You can use it for anything!! just flour it first and make sure to always wipe the excess. I think a thick batter but applied thinly makes for a great crunch
Don't know if any of you ever tried this before, but using raspberry jelly with jalapeno poppers (cream cheese variety) is really delicious. Don't know why it's good, but it is. May be worth trying here!
