No government has the right to treat it's people like that, regardless of circumstance. Now, seeing how our beloved country is devolving into madness, especially my state of Victoria, more than a few people are probably considering buying plates to make armour. Yes, the Kelly's did things that were bad, even horrible, but given the circumstances that led to them, I can hardly blame them. When I was 5 my father told me, if you see a man running down the street with a bag on his back marked “loot” (could have been “swag but I’m too old to remember) and he’s going this way,dad pointed left, and the police run up a minute later and ask which way he went, you tell them he went right. So the cops had to play dirty games to get things done or to get more cops there which could take days or weeks to arrive. Frank Gardiner and Ben Hall were my local bushrangers. Ben Hall was one of the nicest ones Frank was the local butcher, where the meat came from tho.... Late one night on the road Ben and Frank asked my great great great grandfather if they could stay the night with the family group as they could help if some bushrangers came along. @Blaze Temp - mate learn basic English. I didn’t even finish high school and can at least write legibly. Firstly- most Australian’s aren’t English, we are of British descent. In case you weren’t listening to Dank, most of the names in his slightly botched retelling of Ned Kelly’s life were Irish, including the Jacks (Police). You only have to look at the list of our Prime Minsters and you’ll see names like - McMahon, Menzies, Gillard, McEwen, Hughes and our current PM - Morrison. Some of our famous sports stars- Warne, McGrath, Frazier. Famous actors- Errol Flynn, Paul Hogan (Croc Dundee), Barry Humphries (Dame Edna). Etc etc --All of these names are Irish, Welsh and Scot. I’m a descendant of 9 convicts (4 from mother, 5 from father- that we know of), 7 were Irish, 1 Welsh, 1 English. There is plenty of English blood here but there is just as much from the rest of Britain/Ireland as well. Secondly- after the convicts finished their sentences, they weren’t given a pass back to Britain/Ireland, instead they were given menial jobs in settlements for bugger all pay or given an arid (dry) piece of land with no live stock and told to produce something in order to pay taxes that were sent back to England. There was very little infrastructure, medical facilities etc that people should expect after being taxed more than people in Britain. That’s why in 1901, we said F.U and said we are no longer paying taxes to England and we will build our own nation. We have thrived ever since. No hand outs Perhaps you should read a little more
I know it's more about English-speaking people, but you have to talk about Jacques Mesrine, the king of French criminals. He was literally nicknamed "Public enemy number 1" by the media and inspired numbers of characters in French media as well as having 2 films made on his life as a criminal.

Ned Kelly was pushed nowhere. The police got him a job when he was charged with armed robbery. He rejected that job and turned to massive criminal activity. They were easily bought & sold, even back then... & no more than criminals in uniform themselves. Stories of their corruption were rife! Also, coming from such a rum lot, that would have been like working for the enemy. He was NO saint, granted, but he stood up for what he believed. You live by the sword, you die by it. Same for the cops that died.
@@Ad_Astra_321 You have no idea. Ned Kelly had a massive horse stealing 'business' where he would steal horses in the dead of night, usually from poor selectors, and move them to a criminal accomplice's property and hide them until he had about 12 horses. He would then move them over the River Murray, again at night time, and release them near a pound where the pound keeper would hold them, then when they were not claimed, would be sold at a low price. Kelly was also stealing stock in NSW and hiding them on his accomplices properties until he had about 12 horses, and he would then bring them into Victoria and release them near a pound. After a time they would be sold back to Kelly, where he obtained a proper title to them.

His brothers on the other hand, were far more hard core than him, like that. & why *should* he take a job with the police?
It was a massive business, until police discovered a lot of horses held at Barnawatha and began to tear his 'enterprise' down.
You have no idea, do you?
I miss the RAID: shadowlegends ads, you always seemed so lifeless talking about those.

We need a „Absolute MadLads :Vlad the Impaler.“.
Yeah we do!
Christopher Lee first but Vlad not being done yet is madness. One of the obvious ones to me personally lol
trouble with vlad is there are too many conflicting narratives written of this figure, picture future historians trawling through 4chan. Thats vlads stories.
Save it for October!
Crazy how Dankula hasn't done a video in the honor of his namesake
Dank my boy, you knocked this one out of the park. The studio looks amazing and you've come a looooonnnnggg way from pug thuggery. Cheers from Texas.
Love your work mate, my family had a property near beechworth for a few years and the thing that struck me the most was these guys were truly amazing bushman. The bush near our farm was dense and rocky, by Aussie standards very mountainous too, it's called the area the Victorian Alps for a reason. All Aussies should be proud of Ned and his mates, I wish we still had more of their character as a nation, I feel we have lost alot of it in the last 20 years.
Beechworth is a beautiful part of the world. And they were indeed incredibly competent bushmen. They were great horsemen too.
What Australian would be proud of a murderer, bank robber, hostage taker, prolific thief and liar? Your comment is delusional.
Count Dank becomes a mad lad himself. Nice job on this one, Aussie pride.
Peace from Oz m8
One of us has to send him some bundy
Aussie pride? Lmfao!!! You should be embarrassed to be an Australian. Hahahaha!!!!
@@mphase7575 terrible attempt at trolling, go get your attention somewhere else

Not hating the set, but there was a "fuck it, let's do this youtube thing" vibe with your previous set up that I appreciated.
But the new one is pretty garbage
The lights in the back are distracting.
Moral of the story: when you want to use a train for a group kill, use explosives, not a track removal.
Ned Kelly may have been a stone cold killer but I will not ignore the fact of how badass his actions were during his final stand. Also how he told the judge he'll meet him in hell, then the judge died 12 days after his execution
From what ive heard his first kill actually really shook him.
"not out of the woods just yet"
missed opportunity to say bush
"Out'ee the boosh"
If you wanna have a great time, make a drinking game out of every time he should have said Bush but didn't
