Beautiful final thoughts. The last minutes spoke to me. I just turned 20 & I just got my license. "I'm going to succeed no matter what company I'm with, and I just need to align with a company that believes in what I believe in, who supports me with what I need, and I'm going to succeed no matter what."
Been through several brokers! 39 years in the business. Each one has its own rules. Best years was before technology. I was great before leads were bought and paid. I was good because I could negotiate and buyers and sellers recommended me. Now it's feed the beast. Pay the man. Build the army. Ugg. I don't know where to go in 24.
Joining Brookstone Realtors 4 years ago was by far THE BEST decision I have ever made. It is still mind boggling to me so many agents are still getting ripped off by the legacy brokers out there!
Thanks for this one Brandon...great info for agents who are confused on where to go. Most go into a broker only to find out later they made the wrong choice! So helpful!!
I wasted so much time in a company that repeated over and over your listings your leads and then I found out my cell phone was forwarded to the broker.
This video is right on time for me Brandon as I just left a broker centric firm to an agent centric firm and I couldn’t be happier. I hate I wasted my first 7 months as an agent with no training trying to do all on my own.
Thank you SOOO much for making this video. I’ve been watching your videos since I started my pre licensing course and I just finished it yesterday, so the importance of this video and its content is an understatement, especially for the next steps to follow as I get into the industry. Thank you again! 🙌🏻🌟
The best surfer wipes out on a crappy board, the best writer stalls if the pen has no ink and THEE best agent will fully thrive if their brokerage….. you get the point.
I always wanted to be at an agent-centric brokerage that is affordable at the beginning, but offers tremendous value, can scale to massive active and passive income, offers lots of live training by current top producers, flexibility in marketing/branding, and offers modern technology to help my clients. I thought I'd want to scale to my brokerage, but I don't have to since I can grow my team now without the liability and lawsuits that managing brokers deal with.
As a new agent I’m struggling between brick and mortar versus web based brokerage! This dialogue was so insightful and helpful however for a new agent would I be completely out of my noggin to attempt a web based model?! Thoughts anyone ?
Start with which allows you to self brand, that's a pretty big Agent Centric focus, allowing an Agent to use their branding & make their business their own & not focused on the Brokerage name/logo/colors@@shelleygreyrealtor
Anyone know of a brokerage that does not require agents to join the NAR and local Realtor associations? I'm going through the pre-license coursework now, and find it interesting that there are several hours dedicated to learning the NAR code of ethics and board rules. The way they set up the system for agents to "Pay to Play" seems like a racket. Not to mention their recent lawsuits, and poor job representing their members who have paid millions in dues with little in return. I have no interest in paying to join their associations, and not impressed with the Realtor trademark either.
@@Chosen-Mal Getting a license is required to specialize in rentals, joining NAR is not. This niche uses separate databases to serve clients. Won't be using the MLS, and won't be paying NAR dues.
How about professional affiliating with a broker no split comm, and being able to find the source for prequalified buyers, then, it would a matter of doing an effective closing
Neither do I, and I don't think any brokerages exist to the black-and-white picture that Brandon is trying to portray. I see this video as a self-promotion for Brandon's brokerage model. There is nothing wrong with either, but as a broker myself, I set guidelines for my agents, they need to know and follow their own value proposition, but the guidelines are to keep my brokerage from being associated with discount agents, therefore not every agent is a good fit for my brokerage, just like my brokerage is not a good fit for every agent, especially not those that are desperate enough to not stand for what they are worth in value and service.
I was in a small brokerage, century 21, exp, lpt and now Keller Williams. Now, out of all these brokerages I like only two, Keller Williams and one of the above. I moved to kw because of the systems. I don’t care for caps
Im thinking of keller williams but the upfront cost is so much. Im thinking doing small, building myself more and then switch to KW once I have more saved to afford it
So a currently producing team leader/ broker or no? I agree with being under someone who has been successful.. but "competing" broker?? That's what it's called here
Love your work. But, this broker-centric, agent-centric discussion is just ignorant of what consumers think, and what setting broker pricing is about. It misses the actual reality that any agent can become a broker and actually make their own rules and run their own business. The "agent-centric" model is the biggest contributor to the destruction of the real estate business.
My broker sucks, I mean it, they don’t have a CRM they don’t have a TC,CC nor manager and yet they ask 50% of the commission don’t even have access to MLS 😂😂😂 damn I’m screw for a while
Jesus….What a rabbit hole this whole industry is. I just passed my exams. All I want to do is sign on with a brokerage that isn’t full of two faced assholes, sell a couple houses and pay off my credit cards.
Brandon, dear…you spoke 89,99% of the time. Why keep you guests in the call if they barely squeezed a line? 🫥 I was looking to hear what the 2 gentlemen had to share but you in your kingdom stole the king throne and the mic altogether.

Open your own, best decision I ever made.

Old school brokers need to be held accountable for their lack of training.

Great information. Taking my courses right now to get my license. Looking forward to it.
Great points like always! I’ll be talking with Big Ben about joining the coaching again today! I can’t wait to lock in with you guys!!
It isn't the board, it's the surfer. It isn't the pen, it's the writer. It isn't the brokerage, it's the agent.

Who are the agent centric brokerages.
Right, I want names!!!😂 No, but seriously.

No point in getting a license then

This is better than I thought it would be. You guys are really laying out winning methods.
Any agent centered brokerages in winter park/Orlando Florida ?
Did you find one 👀😅😂 asking for myself
We do listing presentations where? How come we can't do the same for buyers?
Thank you Brandon for free trainings.
I literally just said this in one of my videos. Choose your brokerage carefully!
How about professional affiliating with a broker no split comm, and being able to find the source for prequalified buyers, then, it would a matter of doing an effective closing
What’s an example of a broker-centered brokerage? Idk of any companies that don’t let you put your cell/name on a sign lol

Perfect timing to put out this video Brandon thank you
Thank you so much for this i needed
Is there a similar brokerage to Brookstone in Colorado specifically the Denver metro area that anyone knows of?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience, this was very informative!
So glad you’re back!!
Is Keller Williams broker centric like that with the signage? I'm about to join
@greenvilleownerfinancing6641why’d you leave? I’m considering to leave because of the 36% split.
@greenvilleownerfinancing6641 are you in Greenville South Carolina?
So a currently producing team leader/ broker or no? I agree with being under someone who has been successful.. but "competing" broker?? That's what it's called here
FACTS! love this!

As always this is 🔥
Quality video.

Don't walk ....RUN!!!
instead of saying your broker sucks, what stops you from doing your research and moving to another broker?
Which broker?
Join LPT, they have all that!
You look like Anthony Bourdain and sound like him too. #offtopic Great video.
10%....?
Jesus….What a rabbit hole this whole industry is. I just passed my exams. All I want to do is sign on with a brokerage that isn’t full of two faced assholes, sell a couple houses and pay off my credit cards.
Agents need to get their asses back to the office.
Sounds like you have more to say about this topic?
