On one side the acapella was running welcome music in the ears, while my eyes watching the cast took my brain to remember all the classic comedy movies like Bhagam Bhaag X Dhamaal X Golmaal X Housefull X Hera Pheri but not a single flashback of welcome came in mind. This makes me think that it was Nana Patekar and AK more than anyone who made Welcome so iconic. And guess who's not joining the cast.

Most of the cast members are superb actors and yet are apparently so disinterested in announcement itself. No Uday Shetty & Majnu bhai in a Welcome movie? Film to be written by Farhad-nolan-scorcesse Samji and directed by Ahmed-spielberg-hitchcock-Khan? Now i believe that boycotting a movie is genuine, legit and should be encouraged 😝.

Ahmed Khan, Prabhu Deva, and Farhad Samji remind me of their Hollywood counterparts, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Roland Emmerich. It's astonishing how Roland Emmerich consistently secures huge budgets for producing mid films, despite their consistent letdowns in both critical acclaim and box office success. Or how Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa can acquire popular IPs only to deliver subpar remakes of once beloved shows, one after another.
Just shows how saying "Yes" to influential figures in entertainment industry can propel one's career.

Indian cinema is in dire need of new clean comedic talent. I am appalled to see how a majority of people do not know the writer of a majority of now nostalgic comedy movies of the 90s and 2000s. It was Neeraj Vora!! He wrote almost all of Priyadarshan’s Hindi movies. Wrote one of SRK’s best comedies Baadshah and wrote the best Golmaal of the franchise (basically starting it!). Plus he was an awesome actor! That is exactly why he was also a Nadiadwala favourite. It was a big shock to the father son producer duo when Vora passed away after a massive brain stroke in 2017. They helped as much as they could but is wasn’t meant to be. I think they are just lost without him and should instead try and nurture newer talent to write for them.

Major missing Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor already. Welcome back was the worst. We thought the reason was John in place of Akshay, but really they needed good writing and story. It felt like they lowered their standards in the 2nd part. But, I'm really excited how the movie turns out with this huge ensemble cast of actors. The writing really needs to be good for all of them to get their due screentime and have impactful funny performances. I know the director and writer haven't made good films, but something inside me wants this to be good. PLEASE DON't LET THIS be a nonsensical comedy. We really need good writing on this. Forget Raj & DK, how much more prestige does somebody like Anurag, Dibakar, Sriram, etc has to accumulate to make them capable as a mainstream director? Idt they themselves will refuse the offer if somebody allows it. Look at the Tamil trio of Nelson, Lokesh and Madonne they came from nowhere and are now reigning like champs.

It is sad that Akshay has agreed to do such a film where some time back he denied doing Hera Pheri 3 claiming thay script wasn’t good. As an actor so successful he should do his best work now as it is the last phase of his career as a hero. Choices like OMG2 should be continued to be made.
But sadly it is not happening the same way. He is still my favourite superstar but I am really disappointed with the choices.

Akshay Kumar mostly works for money only, It was monetary issue with Hera Pheri 3. I do agree tht during the last decade Akshay moved to doing patriotic & society issue movies but with tht he continued to do nonsense movies.
Today also if someone offers him 125 crs he will do the movie without even reading the script. This is major issue with Akshay who completes movies within 80 days whereas a Pathan & Dangal take 2-3 years...

Whether he makes a film in 80 days or even 180 days, it is important that script has to be good.
Aamir Khan made lal singh chaddha in 3 years but still didn’t manage to impress audiences.Same happened to Shamshera.
I think script is the HERO of the film. If he chooses his projects carefully like baby, special 26 ,omg 2 people will still love to see him and nobody will ask how many days did it took to make the film.

I believe the movie could be a retelling of Tropic Thunder. It has an ensemble cast that is literally put in a jungle to film an oscar worthy movie. The premise of the movie is exactly the kind that could potentially attract the likes of Ahmed Khan and Samji to 'envision' how they have to cater to the Indian diaspora. While the original banks on the ludicrous nature of the premise, the ridiculous way in which the writer-director could potentially execute is what petrifies me.

In part 2 we had John Abraham of whom Uday-Majnu were afraid of. The climax was boring but the rest of the movie was actually good. In part 3 what we needed was the wedding of Uday-Majnu where Akshay Kumar and John Abraham come together to help them. It would have been really hilarious where John will be making impulsive decision about every situation and Akshay trying to stop it and being the responsible one. The brides(Madhuri Dixit and Raveena Tandon) would be daughters of a powerful don called C4(Charlie Chandra Chaman Chaudhary). But instead they just readjusted the entire cast itself which is sad

its better to just ignore such movies at this point. it feels like they genuinely do not care about making good movies anymore, only cash grabs. srk has earned my respect for making zero to none cashgrab movies, while akshay continues to disappoint by working with farhad nolan and ahmed tarantino. no point in giving such movies clout that clearly question the audience's intelligence. if this movie happens to suck, which it probably will, i'd suggest to not make a review on it. not like the review's going to be any different from the reviews of baaghi 3, heropanti 2, housefull 3,4 etc.

They had one job bringing back the full blown cast..
    They failed twice😢
It's like watching Harry Potter without Ron and Hermione
Stranger Things without Steve and Dustin..
