Thanks man - appreciate it! They were really stoked to ride with us and this was filmed pre release of the new Genius so they actually had a proper First Ride before any others had!
We have failed twice to do the full Sligachan ride due to weather. We have done the Postman’s oath but Nikki fractured her ankle on the way out so was a slow day back :)
Scotty that was fantastic again! What more would a man want than mountain biking in stunning scenery, Enjoying a good coffee and a cinnamon bun! And of course whiskey & gin tasting! Seriously good inspiration for future trips to come! Thanks man, Adrian
Scotty, I am 65 and have rode MTB's for over a decade. At my age now I have a Specialized Levo Gen 3 EMTB. I will assume these incredible adventures you are sharing is kind to EMTB. Thanks for the wonderful adventure and look forward in the future to ride the trails you share with your subscribers. Blue skies....
Hey John! Stoked to hear your still loving riding your bike… Some of the adventures are suitable some aren’t as you wouldn’t want to be carrying your ebike all the way up there!
Nice one, Scotty! I'm glad you enjoyed your ride in Harris. It was great to see the drone footage and that you got to ride the two main descents of the Postman's walk👌🏻
In my opinion Harris is the most beautiful part of Scotland and the sense of Community is it's greatest trait well that and Amhuinnsuidhe Castle Estate where I was lucky enough to fish for Salmon & Sea trout on a number of occasions when I was a Bank Manager in Stornoway. I was a member of the Clay Pigeon shooting Club in Harris and the vista from the shooting grounds was epic. I never did cycle when I was there but hope to return some day to do so before my body will not let me. It is nearly twenty years since I last drove off a Ferry to the Isles. I also had one of the best fillet steaks of my life in Rhenigidale when a visiting Chef from London had come up for a wedding and was still in Residence before flying home. I had heard of that path but never attempted it as any walk without a rod & reel was not on my agenda in those days. Another great film that I hope encourages more people to explore the Scottish Islands.
I want to go to the Old Man of storr with my bike now and get a moody photo looking into the distance 😂 The Isle of Skye is such an incredible place though.
All i can say is WOW! I am austrian and we love our mountains but the scenery in scotland is also just unbelievable. Top notch quality video and superb riding! 👏👏👏 Mountainbiking is so nice! 👊👊👊
Ahh man, Austria is beautiful but it’s a totally different style of beauty in the Highlands! There’s something so epic about it. The complete wilderness is simply inspiring.
@@ScottyLaughland I totally agree! Its sad that the austrian mountains became an alpine disneyland. The mountains you show us are wild and natural. 🥰🥰🥰
Wow, you can truly be proud of this season, so epic! What a great playground you've got there. Hopefully there will be a season 3, otherwise I'll be watching this series again for sure :) Ride safe Scotty!
Thank you - appreciate the kind words! 🙂 Not sure on Season 3, it won't be this year but that doesn't mean there won't be some really exciting adventures to share.
If you haven't already visited then I'd recommend it... Early Autumn especially as there are less midges and it's a little quieter but still beautiful!
Incredible beautiful filmed as the whole series have been. You really make me want to go to Scotland and ride all the beautiful trails. It struck me that Scotland missing trees....after some searching online i now understand why :) Sheeps, foresting and climate change. It´s hard to understand when i living in Sweden and the trees are everywhere :)
You should, it’s a beautiful country but then I’m biased! A lot of work is going in to rewinding at the moment perhaps not in my life time will it change but maybe the next…
What a ride !!!!!! This isles was amazing All was great to this place , but how was the whisky, and coffee ???? lol 🤣 Great video Scotty 👍, good job And thanks you to share that !!!!!!!
Great video. I saw you as you got to the top of Storr and I was just on my way down leading a group. I thought it was you but was so unsure. Wish I had said hi now!
Hey Scotty, really appreciate your newest video! One question: do you plan to do a bike build video on the new Scott Lumen? Would be very interesting!!
I've done the slig route a few times when I lived in braes a few miles from it. Always a bit underwhelmed by the ride - views spectacular but in my opinion its a bit of a flat slog.
Nice one 👌🏴👌🏴👌..Keep up the good work showcasing Scotland's fantastic Mountain biking and scenery ...I've MTB the Sligachan route to Camasunary bay a couple of times and Dun Cann on Raasay 👌🏴👌..Love Raasay..
First time for me on both of these and was blown away - I think the only way to summarise it that riding in these locations is so much more then just MTB'ing. You gotta do Postman's Path if you haven't!
Another great episode Scotty. Those 2 kids will be over the moon to be included in the video. Something they will remember forever!
Thanks man - appreciate it! They were really stoked to ride with us and this was filmed pre release of the new Genius so they actually had a proper First Ride before any others had!
The one in the black is my brother Ben, the other is his friend Oliver, they came home and wouldn’t stop talking about it😂

Dude you guys knocked it out of the park on this one! Beautiful footage and killer MTBing. Scott bikes needs to give you a raise😂
Thank you mate - stoked we managed to entertain you! 🙌

Fantastic scenery, riding, and video!!
Thanks Jim!
Great video. Nice wee section riding with the kids as well. We visited Lewis and Harris for the first time last year. Definitely going back.
Thank you, brilliant islands to explore aren’t they!
Another epic and inspiring video...my folks used to live on Harris way before I started MTB....need another visit to the islands 😍
You gotta get back and explore - I’ve since heard there’s even more good stuff on Harris! What a place…
Very beautiful nature, thanks for the video Scotty 👍
Thank you for the support!
@@ScottyLaughland no problem 🤝
great vid! loved the wheelie water reflection shot too.
Thank you 🙌
Another great video in some of my favourite places! The standard of this series is really high - both the biking and video production👍👍👍
Thank you John! So glad you’ve enjoyed it!!
Spectacular series!
Thanks!
That is the best yet and just an hour from the house.
Thanks Norma! 🙂
Really enjoying this series nice to see there is so much more to do within the biking adventure coffee, whiskey that’s ticking boxes

Loving this video series, great work!

Awesome 👏
Awsome documentry

Nice, how about St Kilda next? Watch out for the gannets!

Another pne I really enjoyed!
Thank you! 🙌

Great video. I saw you as you got to the top of Storr and I was just on my way down leading a group. I thought it was you but was so unsure. Wish I had said hi now!
Ah man, you should have come and said hi! What a beautiful morning that was...
Hey Scotty, really appreciate your newest video! One question: do you plan to do a bike build video on the new Scott Lumen? Would be very interesting!!
Thanks Julian! You better believe it, I’ve a Lumen already and waiting for a few final parts to get things moving with it! Can’t wait!!
Sounds great! I‘m sure it‘s gonna get epic!!
How did you not get a good Calmac telling off for riding the Raasay slipway and ramp - let alone a manual! 😂😂
I didn't know we couldn't, I did get a scorn of a look when I boarded 😂 that makes sense now. Last boat of the day maybe cba?!
I've done the slig route a few times when I lived in braes a few miles from it. Always a bit underwhelmed by the ride - views spectacular but in my opinion its a bit of a flat slog.
I'd agree it's nothing to be overly excited about but I really enjoyed riding through the landscape. Any routes you would suggest?
Would you ever consider going to the Isle of Arran?
👌👌💥
🙌
Hi Scotty what’s app?
Tell me the bike Scott Scale 980 is great? 2021

I really can't tell, is that an ebike you ride??
It’s not, the shock is integrated in to the frame which makes for a pretty beefy downtime!
Skye and Raasay’s terrible, don’t come here haha! 😉 If you do though, don’t forget to pack your waterproofs.
Or in my case a onsie! 😂
@@ScottyLaughlandThink I’ll need to get one of them now! 😂
@@brucemacdonald5532 would recommend it, almost dry underneath!
