That wasn't nearly as hard as I had made it out to be. Right now I'm busy making an afghan for my minister, and I seem to have lost my zippered pocket with all my crochet hooks in it. I'm stymied. I'm sure I'll find it, and since I haven't been able to find it, I'll just keep looking. I think I'll be able to crochet with the beads now after watching your video. Thanks Donna. I hope I have no more trouble with it.

Thanks for the video, I have tried to do this and it never looked right, my stitches covered up the beads, I guess maybe I've tried to small of beads. Love this idea as I crochet and do beading. Looks lovely.
The pony beads I have are smaller than the ones you are using, so I put some clear nail polish on the end of my yarn and that did the trick.

BEADED CROCHET LOOKS NICE BUT SHOULD NOT BE USED FOR FREQUENTLY WASHED ITEMS SINCE WASHING WILL MAKE BEADS EVENTUALLY FALL OFF & RUIN THE ITEM.👍

You can use this technique in whatever crochet stitch you wish. I find single crochet holds the bead in place nicely.
