Those steering clutches are close to the end of life but in limited use they could last a long time. I own a 5UD2 sn 5U4714 and I did one steering clutch. Where are you located. My handle at ACMOC is ChuckC . Ther are a lot of pictures of my D2 there.
Did you see the D2 2J1113 videos on youtube. They just did a 5 part on the pony carb. Think there is magneto coming up. But dont give up videoing. If it's old cat it will get watched. Another guy is doing a 1950 D4. Yet another is tearing down an Rd4. Another is putting new weld on sprockets, steering clutches on several D4Ds that are strawberry fumigation setups. And he did a cat grader blade lift gear box. . So much cat and always room for more..

Chuck, I'm in NE KS- I'll look you up on ACMOC. Once I get it running, we'll see how it goes and make a decision on the clutches.

Wayne, for sure I will - I just don't have regular times to work on it, but when I do I'll make some videos. Nest up is finishing the pony fuel lines.
