Thank you for sharing this, I just bought a sublimation printer and did not realize that it cant be used with 100% cotton because I'm new to the business but I'm so glad I found you and definitely going to try the poly t spray!! and btw I love all of your videos!! you're so awesome!!
You could definitely use this professionally! Me and my husband wear a lot of shirts with prints on them and i cant even count how many shirts have faded after washing it once, and these go for €25 or more at stores. Some even lost their print completely after 2 weeks or so
I feel these would be fine for selling online. People will wear it once, then it will hang around in the laundry basket for a few days, then washed, dried, put away in a drawer and then worn again at some point in the future. Even if someone wore the shirt once a week, that's still a lot of uses before serious fading occurs. All shirts fade to some degree even after a couple of washes anyway. Even the expensive ones. Polyester is best for sublimation, but with this method you can now print on cotton shirts which can actually be cheaper and a lot of people prefer cotton shirts to polyester so you could potentially sell a lot more. A lot of supermarkets (UK anyway) sell really cheap multipacks of school shirts, polo-shirts, and multipacks of adult t-shirts etc, which are mostly made of cotton, I can now buy these and print on them. This is great. Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much for showing the wash results. When sublimation to cotton does the ink look like it’s in the shirt itself as opposed to sitting on top of it? Really interested to try this method.
I love the way you explain things in your videos. I've seen many videos out there and whether 1 they take a long time explaining things or 2 they go toooo fast and need to rewind the video
Ordered that spray concentrate today. Just one question, I ordered same one you did, however, I've seen there is another one in a blue label bottle, says Pro , have you tried that one? I'd like to sublimate cotton towels and napkins for weddings plus the apparel for my business so I won't have to order on VistaPrint. Thank you for sharing your experience.
My fiancé wants to start making shirts and things so I’m doing some research for her. We’ve ordered the heat press and epson eco tank printer. I knew nothing about sublimation before and was a little bummed that it can only go on poly but this video helped me out I can’t wait to show her thanks again earned a sub !!! I watched a video on doing dark colors also. It can be done and looks amazing just more work but it can be done
Thank you for all your great information and tips! I love watching you. This question happens to be on another topic. The plate to use for the Santa cookies… Are they white when you get them from dollar tree. I looked in the store and they are a bone or tinted color. And I looked online and they show that they’re white but there was a comment or review that she said she received them and they were a bone color. So just wondering if you’ve had any issue. Thank you
What type of paper you printed your design on ? … I just purchased an EPSON F170 sublimation printer for making my tee shirts… I’m just a beginner & will be trying different options for 100% Cotton tee shirts… Thank You for sharing your valuable knowledge
I’ve got some cotton tee shirts in red. I wanted to know if you’ve tried to bleach and then sublimate on a colored cotton tee yet. Also do you have to put the bleached shirt in the Sun? I’m usually doing my crafts at night. Thanks for everything.
I would like to try this spray you used.. You mentioned you got it on Etsy .. but all shops doesn't sell the best product.. which one or name do I need to look for??
Great video. Thank you for performing that experiment. I only sublimate my tees and about 100 washes later mine have not faded. I use 100% polyester. I'm glad you did this video because I was thinking of getting this product now not so much.
Hey there, not sure my last message came through. I have watched several of your videos in sublimation and wanting to purchase the equipment. Do you still recommend the Epson 15000? I had to put my name and number before and it got deleted so I would just wait for you to reply via this way thank you very much. Have a blessed day
Nope I place it on top of that pad when using the spay since it seeps through the shirt! 😊 no worries that smell should go away over time. Some presses just stink though lol
@@SimplySallie thank you! I Really admire all your work, input and for taking the time to show us all how to do things through your trails and experience! I look forward to the heat press smell going away and hopefully soon! Lol 😂 Thanks again! ❤️
I love it both ways honestly! The washes just gave it a vintage tee look, which is super cute also!

I would have loved to see a comparison between two, a cotton and polyester to see the the diff on how both fade with the same amount of washes.
You could definitely use this professionally!

Love your videos. I tried the tee shirts and everytime the shirts turn brown, like they are being scorched. What should I do? Thanks!!
You must have heard me! 😁 I been watching some of your past videos wondering where you went & here you posted today! Yay!

That is awesome! It didn't fade very much but it's still awesome!

Do you have a video on an update on Whether you had to adjust your printer as far as color quality goes?
What is the spray you putting on the t shirt and what does it do
You should try to spray direct garment pre treat then do the sub

SOOOOO good to see you!! Hello!!!
Missed you guys!! ❤
At what temperature did you wash?
Did they rough come off after the wash?
Can you do this with a cricut easy press. I do not own a heat press.
Sallieee! I missed you! Thanks for the follow up. I'm so excited to see what you have in the works!
How did you sublimate without having black lines around it?
Does this tee spray work on dark 100% cotton shirts ?
Would like to know if you dried the shirt in the dryer? Or hung dry? That seems to be where my fading happens
Oh yes I should have mentioned in the video! I just dried it like normal, just made sure it was inside out.
Sallie did you replace rubber heat press pad with a towel? I bought the same one and it stinks so bad when I use the heat press!
Nope I place it on top of that pad when using the spay since it seeps through the shirt! 😊 no worries that smell should go away over time. Some presses just stink though lol

Sallie!!!!! Missed you!!! I hope all is well.❤
Thank you Sonya! All is well 😊
I prefer to have faded vintage look of the design rather than cracked thick layer of glossy htv honestly.
Thanks!

Sallie missed ya girl!!!!
I’d like to see you test sublimation on wood… would that liquid work? Lol 😂
