Thanks for this review. There are so many brands to choose from, it's hard to know which direction to go in. Cricut results are not surprising, however, I find their shirts run very very small almost 2 sizes too small. The extra large is more of a loose fit medium (pov). So I am forced to go elsewhere.
I used 100% Gildan once and I hated them they were so thin and see through they looked really cheap. I hate cricut but the quality of their sublimation shirts is 10 out of 10
Hello Jennifer! Thank you for your amazing Tutorials and sharing the things that could be frustrating and very time consuming for a lot of us. You certainly make it much easier and I appreciate you and am sure most will agree. Thank you for all you do for your Crafty friends. Happy Crafting!🤗
Thank you so much for your great videos. I have a Epson SCF170 and I used your subliflower to test the colors and they are not vibrant. I changed the settings on my mac to color sync and clicked on my epson scf170 but they dont look great. What am I doing wrong? Should I print it on a shirt to see if the colors come out better?
Hi Jen, what T do you prefer other than these choices that your watchers requested you do a test on? Also please keep price point as a factor. great video, as always!
It depends on your preference and what is most comfortable for you . There are more details on the blog post. jennifermaker.com/best-shirts-for-sublimation/
I love your videos. I have a question. I made a great graphic for my taekwondo class and after a few washes it is becoming blurry. Any suggestions. I used glow in the dark htv then hippo ink from my sawgrass
The glow-in-the-dark HTV hasn't held up as well over time. This could be contributing to the blurriness you're seeing. You might want to try a different type of HTV, such as holographic or white glitter HTV, which have shown better durability. Here is an updated tutorial. jennifermaker.com/sublimate-dark-shirts/
I use Jerzees t shirts and Cricut. I haven't washed Jerzees, so can't tell you what will happen. I do know, I will advise my customers to wash cold and hang. I also use a heat press, and press at 400 for 60 seconds.
Good video, but I tend to stay away from white. They sub great, yes, but they are see through. 😕 There needs to be a thicker poly shirt that's not see through. The Cricut shirts a EXTREMELY thin and see through!
I used 100% polyester an did the sublimation but notice the sublimation is fading on my tshirts is there something else I need to do to make colors stay longer
That could depend on the press time or temperature or the type of heat transfer tape. There are more details on the blog post here. jennifermaker.com/best-shirts-for-sublimation/
Thank you Jennifer for doing the testing of the products and techniques for us. GREAT jobs that you and your crew do. All is appreciated.
Thank you so much! I have the best team ever!🥰
The cricket shirts I've purchased ran small. I had to buy XL for someone who wears a medium. Thanks for all the help and info Jennifer.
They do run very small.
This really helps Jennifer - I like comfy shirts but also want the sublimation to last.
So glad to hear it! 💗
I love that you did this comparison!! Shocked to see the winner!!!
I hope you found it helpful🥰

I agree... The Cricut shirts sub beautifully but they are extremely small .... The 2x fits like a large ...
True. It is more like 2 sizes up.
I watched your sublimation course and it was very helpful. Thank You.

It depends on the style of Gildan.

Could be a number of things. The color will change when heat is applied. jennifermaker.com/sublimation-color-problems/

Can I sublimate on a red shirt if my picture is all black? Will it show up?
Sure! 😊🌻
I use Jerzees t shirts and Cricut. I haven't washed Jerzees, so can't tell you what will happen. I do know, I will advise my customers to wash cold and hang. I also use a heat press, and press at 400 for 60 seconds.
I'd love to know your results with the Jerzees shirt!🥰
@@JenniferMaker I will let you know. I have one that I will wash today.
@@JenniferMaker I have the results. How do I share it with you?
@@JenniferMaker great results after washing in cold then hung up.
Thank you very much this is very helpful 👏❤
I'm so glad you found it helpful🥰
I'm new at this--What is the difference between sublimation and using infusible ink?
Infusible ink is a type of sublimation that you can purchase in printed sheets. 🥰
Thanks for the great video! ❤
My pleasure!
Good video, but I tend to stay away from white. They sub great, yes, but they are see through. 😕 There needs to be a thicker poly shirt that's not see through. The Cricut shirts a EXTREMELY thin and see through!
Yes, white shirts do tend to be see through sadly🥰
If you don’t have card stock to later in between, is there another option to use?
You can put a few layers of butcher paper.
hello
is there a certain time you should wait before you wash a sublimated shirt
thank you David
I like to wait 24hrs but really once it's sublimated you technically could wash right away 🥰
@@JenniferMaker thank you
I used 100% polyester an did the sublimation but notice the sublimation is fading on my tshirts is there something else I need to do to make colors stay longer
They should not fade with 100% polyester. Don't wash in hot water.
thank you for the info
you are very welcome🥰
Yes
❤️❤️
I'm having trouble finding 65+ polyester t-shirts. What's everyone's go to place?
Amazon, Jiffyshirts are both popular places to get shirts🥰
If you use white, I guess it doesn’t leave the scorch marks I’ve seen on color polyester shirts?
That could depend on the press time or temperature or the type of heat transfer tape. There are more details on the blog post here. jennifermaker.com/best-shirts-for-sublimation/
I’ve noticed that the Cricut tshirt is way smaller…..i wear a 2xl and their 2xl are really small which is a bummer
Sometimes you do have to size up, though their blanks seem on par with other sublimation blanks. 😊🌻
Love these vids
I'm so glad 🥰
Great info
Thank you!🥰
Thank you!
My pleasure!
I only use Cricut shirts, they are perfect, and thanks for doing this video Jennifer!
I love the way they feel!🥰
How about 60% polyester and 40% cotton mam?
Yes! It will work but may be a little more faded. I have done things on 50/50.
