That was such a great show. I learned after the interview that he often appears at “Waltons” conventions. This was his first time appearing as part of a “Nanny and the Professor” reunion. Thanks for commenting!

Great interview. One of my all-time favorite shows. So glad this video was posted. Hal Everett was my favorite character. I would love to have the entire series on DVD. I was in love with Juliet Mills. She was so sweet. And Richard Long played a great father.

This was an iconic show when I was a kid. It's amazing David had to run some of the props as well as do the acting - such a responsibility for a young teen. Good interview thanks - we mustn't forget those actors and their wonderful work no matter how small or long ago.

I agree! Performers like David Doremus make many contributions to film and television, and deserve an extra round of applause. It was great to hear how much he enjoyed running the props and special effects. I really appreciated him taking the time to be interviewed. Thank you so much for the encouragement!

Great "get" and interview as well, R! So cool to find out David helped to make Nanny's magic effects happen! To this day the theme song for that show is imo one of the best in TV history, just so warm and mystical ✨

I was at that Hollywood Show. I really enjoyed talking with David. What a down to earth guy. I grew up watching Nanny & The Professor. In fact I met young Trent Lehman, who played Butch on the show, back in that time. He was nice but very shy. I was very sad when he took his own life at such a young age. Nice interview. Thanks for sharing.

Great interview. It's surprising to hear how much he loved being on the show. Normally child actors don't have this kind of enthusiasm. It's great how the production involved David with more than just acting. I loved this show as a kid. It had a sweetness to it and it was comforting.
