Those little guys are lifesavers! I use them on my work lanyard all the time. Sometimes my coworkers ask me for extras. I had to order more because of them LOL 😂

Question, do these work well against the pins being pulled off? I once had a collectors pin tugged violently off my bag and wanna keep any future ones safe. Thanks!

Oh Absolutely. I use these all the time and it's more likely to rip a hole in what they're attached to than for the backing to pop off

Definitely trying these. I had a pin I bought. It was a collectors item, something that would be sold out forever and never restocked item. I bought two of these rare pins. I put one on my bag, in a semi hidden place. The rubber thing came off and I lost! But luckily I found in a weird place. These would be a great fix.

Yeah, I definitely need some pin locks. Mid last year, I took a trip to a park where I wore a mini backpack. I decided to cover it in some of my favourite pins, buttons and brooches....keep in mind, it's not a bubble back pack meant to keep pins. It's a leathery/plastic solid back. When I got back home, nothing seemed to be missing- (as I keep a traveling pin log on me) -except for one. It was a cheap non enamel plastic pin I got from Temu of Cyndaquil from Pokemon....but it still hurt me that it was gone. I had it on a rubber frog (I call pin backings, frogs) and had accidentally placed it on the bottom edge crease of the backpack where it must've came loose whenever I sat the backpack down.
Now I know I'm lucky as it could've been one of my more expensive Disney pins.
I also mainly wear my pins on my hats, but luckily after two and a half years, I've never lost a pin doing that. Watch those backpacks.

I’m a big fan of enamel pins I think I have like honestly like 18 of them on my Walmart vest and I’ve been there for six months and honestly the real thing that sucked was the key that I use for the lock up that magnet is so strong it yanked off one of the pinz like three times and I lost the rubber pin back but thankfully these are a lifesaver. I just got them today and I think I have them like on three of my pinz already.

I believe in the Disney parks they have similar locking pins that use a small tightening mechanism rather than a locking one. Would you recommend those just as much as the lock pin backs?

Just for your information, in the military, they refer pinbacks as "Dammits"
Because that's what you'll say when you lose them, it caught on really fast...

I appreciate locking pin backs so much, but as a collector myself I have to disagree with you on the rubber backings. I've had the exact opposite experience.
The rubber backings are the only ones that stay on. The metal butterfly clips never worked for me. I lost a few when I first started collecting them and was left with just the backings that failed me (。•́︿•̀。)

I really wish I saw this before I lost one of my enamel pins, but oh well, LOL. Back in September, I was at a fair, and I lost my Holiday World enamel pin. I started collecting enamel pins and button pins this year, and I put them on my backpacks and everything you can think of. So after I lost my pin, I was trying to figure out ways I could make them hold on better. I'm definitely going to have to order some of those, and if you're wondering, yes, I got a new Holiday World enamel pin from eBay😂

I'm in a minority that personally doesn't like locking pin backs... I find they physically hurt underneath your nails to get off each time, and they're generally more expensive as well. If I wore mine out and about I think my opinion would be different, but mine rarely leave the house and stay on display :P

I disagree. I think the rubber ones are best because they don’t poke your head and you can push them in a little harder to stay. The metal ones like to break and fall off or break and get jammed and stuck on.
